Came here for pre sunset snack.
We ordered the bubble waffle bueno and ice cream which was very good.
The restaurant is in a nice, quiet street - gives a great ambiance w/ great views of the meteora rocks.
Service is good, food is good and is a nice spot to relax and have a meal.
It requires a little bit of walking to get to, and not easiest to find when using google maps.

We visited durring the bank holiday . It was very busy but the service was excellent, the food especially the pizza and the salads were amazing. The owners very pet friendly even they offer to our Ben dogs treats 😉😉😉. Hopefully we will be back to the area soon and for sure we visit them again !!!

We entered the place by chance, looking for a place to dine and found a super friendly staff with grilled meat made at the time. We were very comfortable, so much so that we repeated. At the end of the meal, they gave us some little ice cream.

A real touch of class and totally worth the effort to climb and find it. Very different from the norm and all done well. The offering, the service and - of course - the tranquil location staring up at the wonderful surrounding massive rock formations as the sky darkens and the stars appear. Magical.

Lovely modern café bar in a tranquil area. When you need a change from traditional Greek food in a taverna setting come here. Friendly staff, chilled music, well priced food and drinks just a comfortable chilled place. Really enjoyed the vibe. Food ok .

Beautiful and modern shop, very different from the classic-no-styles you will find in the area.
And the menu is also modern, you will even find matcha tea.
The dessert we chose was a big disappointment.
The neighborhood and its hustle and bustle unfortunately spoil the experience that the shop could ideally offer.

A surprising chill, cool bar. Very nice music, excellent service, good options for bites and drinks. In fact, a lot for drinks 😁 Very nice view to the “rocks” of Meteora.

We celebrated our engagement meal here. The staff made us feel like a King and Queen! Monica was lovely and provided fantastic service along with the other staff. The food was incredible and some of the best pork ive ever had! My fiancé loved her steak too. Wonderful place!!

Wonderful bistro or bar, very lovingly designed, with a wonderful view of the Meteora rocks. Great drinks and wines, sometimes served with small snacks. Local products, very good coffee and a good breakfast with omelette and cheese pie. But everything is surpassed by the really great service, with wonderful staff and an open owner with profound local and Greek knowledge.

Kastraki is not a metropolis, but this place is hidden away and hard to find. When you get there you will be totally enchanted and it's the perfect place for a long lunch or to spend an afternoon after the strenuous climbing up tp the meteoras. Really worth going The owner very interesting and friendly

We expected more from this restaurant based on previous scores in tripadvisor. However, the food was tasteless. We ordered a wrap and pizza and some drinks. The wrap contained ham, cheese, tomato and some spread, and the greek pizza contained some (!) slices of fresh tomatoes, olives, pepper, feta, onion, (more) tomato sauce and cheese.
The wrap was 'easy', you can make similar ones but with more flavour in 1 minute at home.
Especially the pizza was without any taste except that of the olives. The crust was crispy, but the tomatoes had no flavour, the pizza was not seasoned whereas a bit of that could already have improved the pizza a lot. The pizza by far was not worth the 14€ .
The staff was friendly but did not respond when I told them the pizza was tasteless. Maybe because of the language barrier that they didnt understand.
They call themselves Meteora bistro, but the menu card does not contain bistro worthy dishes, just some snacks.

At the risk of emulating Captain Obvious, you have to know it’s there to know it’s there. But a lot of people sure do, and there is a good reason why. Qastiro Meteora is tucked away up some very narrow streets well off the beaten path, yet on a rainy weekday in April, it was quite busy. The reason is simple enough: the service was friendly and the food was excellent. I should also mention that the photos don’t lie; the views from its terrace are exactly as pictured. Our visit would have been even more enjoyable on a sunny day, but we had a wonderful, unhurried lunch inside.
TIP: as of late April, credit cards were not accepted. The manager told us he had been trying for months to make it possible, but the process was frustratingly slow. Perhaps he will have succeeded by the time you visit.
