When we arrive in Hirafu we were looking for somewhere to eat after an overnight flight and transfer. As it was lunch time things were very busy but we managed to get seat at Musu.
We went with the lunch specials, and when they came out they were a huge potions, so the value for money was great.
As many people have said it is a bit of an apre skiing venue for people watching. Not somewhere we would hang out but for a meal and a drink it was good.

We came back twice more after our first lunch; we enjoyed it so much! Yohann is a fantastic host, we did go with his recommendations! Musu Penicillin- our new favorite cocktail:))
Salmon Burger, Cheese Burger and the Duck....... plus the French Toast with grilled banana and salty caramel sauce- to die for!
We loved the atmosphere too.
Thank you all for making that part of our holiday a memorable one!!

Great apres bar with a relaxed feel. Stopped in here whilst on a rest day, food was super tasty and the best Caesar salad presentation I’ve ever seen. Bar staff are friendly and love a chat. Would love more beer choices

The establishment calls itself a Bar and Bistro, but I think the qualification Tapas Bar does it more justice, at least tapas was all we could get in the evening. The striking thing is the noise. Some music set at full volume, making it hard to chat or even to communicate with the waitresses. The food are different tapas, quite OK, and else s usual bar selection. Wine is expensive. The taste was good and the price for the food is OK. Service is friendly and efficient. But it was the noise that made me stay no longer than absolutely necessary.

1 out of 5. We are group 3 coming ordered. Our drinks have never came. Asked the service to follow up our drinks twice. Will come or it's coming. Until the table next to us who came later got their drinks. We asked again and they said it's coming. The owner or manager should know that your interns/expats kids are incapable of handling the full house with good service. What we left is that Musu service is very racist to Asian who is not Japanese, and in favour of Westerner. If the bar is for western, just sign up for it and Banned the Asian. Bad service ever. If you are asian, dont try. They are racing and fake nice.

We visited the bar for lunch in December 30th 2019. We had a lovely lunch and ordered 2 glasses of Prosecco but was charged 2 bottles instead. We emailed them about it and the GM Jeremy Beuque replied.
He has agreed to refund us the difference and has not replied since February. We have sent multiple emails to follow up but nothing has happened.
Disappointing and just leaves a bad taste!! It would have been a great experience otherwise.
Unfortunately not everyone is honest!!!

Musu is definitely a good venue for Apres Ski. It offers good ambience, view and a bit of a French snooty service as the waiters are French (I am too by the way). Their coffee has not improved since last time we were there but their Tapas looked good and the drinks & cocktails were ok. I reckon their location and the venue they offer is almost unique to Niseko but I just feel they could do much better.

As a non-skier/snowboarder I needed to find alternative options while my travelling companions hit the slopes and Musu was the perfect spot.
On the corner of the main road leading up to the Ski school, Musu is on the second floor above the Burton Store. With bar seating options by the window I was able to sit in with a coffee and my book and watch the people trudging past with their gear.
The coffee is reasonably priced and well brewed (no burnt espresso here), The food menu is varied if your looking for a bite to eat with both vegan and vegetarian options. I had the vegan burger with hokkaido potatoes. The potatoes could have done with a bit more seasoning but all in all a hearty meal. Quintessential western cafe style food, there is also a full bar if you're looking to pair your meal with a beer or wine.
The service is quick and the servers are friendly. They'll enquire about your day but also leave you be if you don't appear to be in the mood for a chat. Would recommend this spot for a break from the snow or a spot of people-watching.
Prices are in line with other venues in the vicinity; as a resort town you'll be paying a bit more than if you were somewhere else in Hokkaido.

Went for lunch at musu and was seated/served quickly and pleasantly. Our food came out shortly, it tasted delicious and was a good portion. The service was great too, our waitress Victoria was so helpful with her recommendations and provided great service for our table.
We’d like to come again one day!
