Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.

"Worth going out of your way when visiting Milan"
reviewed 1 week ago by Anne C
We travelled to this suburb to see the Bosco Verticale and were glad we made the effort. A beautiful sight on a sunny autumn day and we took many photos. We then ventured over to the skyscrapers and shopping area where we enjoyed the architecture and atmosphere. Eataly nearby was also a feast for the senses.
If you want a break in Milan, a place to relax and enjoy several music/ art events during the night time this is the place!Nearby the amazing Villa Reale and its museum and garden. Giardini Montanelli offers bars, children playground and it isnot far from shops, restaurants, subway etc.
On our last night of our trip to Milan, after dinner we wanted ice cream and had a look for a gelatteria near our hotel. We've passed one place, we were not sure about, then crossed the road and came across Terra Gelatto. This place is amazing !
First of all, the way it looks, it grabs your attention and...
Even after reading all the wonderful reviews, I was still surprised by how excellent this dining experience was. I can't stop thinking about it and wish I could travel back to Milan just to eat here again. The seating was comfortable, which is important because you don't want to be in a hurry. Each course comes with a brief introduction...

The manager, which also hapens to be the sommelier is Very professional and knows his craft. Great cure for details, amazing atmosphere and enouth distance between tables for the right privacy. all in all JUST PERFECT
The hotel was perfect! Super clean and comfortable room, great staff and outstanding breakfast! I was contacted by the hotel days before my arrival asking what temperature I wanted the room set to before arriving, how many pillows I wanted and if I had had any special requests and services i required. The kind of service offered by Hotel Berna...
Convenient to the train station (preferred travel in Europe), walking distance (modest distance) to the Duomo, La Scala and shopping on Montana Napoleone. Breakfast is delightful, cheery and well stocked. The bar is spectacular. Nothing missing in the room and the concierge was extremely helpful.

This hotel is one of those that you cannot forget. I booked it basically just for the maserati rides but I was absolutely blown away by the luxurious details of this gorgeous hotel. Located right next to the train station which is just so convenient for traveling around Italy. We took the maserati shuttle to the arcade (?) to do...
Been to ME Milan last month, with my family to have a drink and try the amazing appetizers of the Radio Rooftop Bar. From the quality of the food to the attention of the waitress Silva, everything had been perfect. A special thank you to Francesco, the Aura Manager who, a part from being a great professional, warmly welcomed us.
We loved our 2 night stay here. The staff on reception were very friendly and welcoming. Our double room was a generous size with a modern decor, the ensuite bathroom was also very modern with a huge walk in shower. Breakfast is in room on the ground floor, there is also a small garden area with seating ehich looked very...
