Wonderful preservation of 1,000 years of Icelandic history.
If headed along south coast along Highway 1, this is a definite stop you will appreciate. Wonderful old homes encased in turf, quaint church and one room schoolhouse, plus substantial collection of furniture, tools, books, pottery, fishing gear and even a boat.
