Captain Rob and first mate Jesse, were amazing. I was really worried since I haven’t gone snorkeling in 20 years but they made it relaxing, safe and fun!!! My 13 year old , hubby and I had a blast!!! Hope they are here next year!!

We had a good time on our snorkeling tour. The captain and other employees were great and we always felt like they knew what they were doing! My only complaint was that we had booked a 9am tour on a Saturday and received a call around 7:30am on that same morning saying that they did not have enough people to take us on our tour and that we needed to cancel or reschedule for the 1pm tour. When we asked how many people needed to be booked to go out they told us 10, which I feel like was a lot. We were disappointed but luckily could reschedule. If you have a tight schedule, where rescheduling is not possible, this tour may not be for you. Also, there were alot of jellyfish on our tour. A ton of people got stung, some people cared and some people did not. We would not have booked if we would have known there would be so many.

From booking to crew and to reef….the snorkeling was the best we have done to date. Rob and Hope were our guides-they were informative, funny and above all, safe. Their concern for the reef was genuine. Sombrero reef put on a spectacular show for us with turtle, shark and eel sightings! We will definitely go again!

Captain Rob and Justin were AMAZING!! Kids, parents, and grandparents went with. We saw dolphins on our way out along with several sea turtles while at the reef. Unfortunately there were jellyfish and my daughter got stung so we didn’t do much snorkeling while there. But we really enjoyed the stories and recommendations they gave us.

Had a great snorkel experience even though the weather seemed like it was going to foil our plans on November 24. Captain and his first mate did a great job making sure everyone was safe, well taken care of and having fun. They were very attentive to the needs of the group. We were well outfitted and entertained there and back with upbeat music catering to our group. Stopped at Sombrero reef and saw tons of fish and a couple of sea turtles. We had lots of time to explore. Snacks and beverages were provided after our snorkel. First mate and Captain were friendly and knowledgeable hosts and guides. We had a great time. 🤗

The captain and crew were fantastic. We saw lots of fish and were able to identify them with the help of the crew. Expectations were met. Easy 3 hour trip including the boat ride, snorkeling and adult beverages to complete the trip.

I'm a local and booked a snorkel trip (I had won the trip in a raffle at a local event). The weather was bad so we couldn't make it to the reef or their private island for water-related activities. We ended up going for a booze cruise around Boot Key Harbor. The entire trip ended 1 hour early. I felt like I got my money's worth, but felt bad for folks from out of town that paid full price for a glorified booze cruise. Overall, Captain and Mate were nice and attentive. I know the weather wasn't their fault but I felt like we should have been rebooked for a different day or offered a coupon or something! Anyways, good time overall - just felt bad for the tourists who came all that way for a trip that was cut short.

My family and I had a fantastic time snorkeling on Sombero reef! Highly recommend this trip with Spirit Snorkeling! Captain Rob and First Mate Jesse were great!!! They were so helpful, informative, very safety conscious, and made it all fun. All the snorkeling equipment you needed was included, plus drinks and snacks (very much appreciated) Water was such an incredibly gorgeous color and so clear! Even though it was a bit choppy that day, it was an amazing experience! I swam with a turtle (the highlight!) saw so many fish...various colorful reef fish, parrotfish, barracuda, yellow fin snapper. It was magical!

Amazing experience…one of, if not the best activity to do in Marathon!!! Captain Candace and First Mate Hope were awesome, and I was amazed how concerned they were about making sure everyone had a great time. Bonus, we saw dolphins, and at the end they kinda made it a mini booze cruise!

Trip was amazing! First mate Jesse and Captain Rob are S tier. I've lived here for 9 years and took my husband on a trip to see the keys. These guys to me, are some of the best in the industry. Very thorough in directions, and customer service oriented. They made the customers laugh, feel safe and lended a helping hand when needed. I'll be sure to recommend this group in the future for family and friends!! ❤️
