    Awsome place!! Great kayaking too
Was the best place on the island to go - Great for kids and adults alike!!!!! And we were lucky enough to be the first people to take the New kayaking adventures they just started . You don’t even notice the place ( or how pretty it is) until you notice it’s hidden tucked away - but after going through there it is definetly a destination plus!!!!’ The kayaking was GREAT !!!!!! We had done the older known trails couple Years in row- but the island adventure kayaking and snorkeling was awsome there .

    Nice family To Do
This was a really nice wander. I would definitely recommend it for couples and Families. They had some interesting exhibits and the grounds were lovely. I will warn you, they have some very large golden silk orb weaver spiders webs in and around some of the paths in the woods. They were pretty amazing to check out, but if you're not a spider lover, you might want to stay low ;-)

A hidden gem and a trip back in time!
What a gem! So nice to find a non touristy type of activity learning about the area and walking the spectacular grounds. So much history and so well preserved. Great job. The gift shop is fantastic, interesting products and VERY good prices! Worth the trip even if you just want some gifts to take home! Highly recommend this trip.

    Lovely place
Great visit to Crane Point, after a friendly and informative greeting, we had our picnic in the courtyard with giant tortoises, and then walked through the park, lots to see, and if you keep your eyes open you can see wildlife in the trees around, we saw a large yellow iguana in a tree, and butterflies. At the shore we fed the parrot fish, and sat down for the fish pedicure, which was very ticklish but fun. It is quite a lot of walking, and can be very hot, but there is also a trolley tour. The bird sanctuary was closed whilst it’s being moved, but would also have been interesting. Recommended if you like to see what the keys used to look like, and don’t mind walking. Will try and make a second visit before we leave.

Crane Point Museum and Nature Center
Crane Point had a very interesting museum as well as wildlife area. The museum was very interesting and was very nice. The wildlife area had well kept trails to walk on. There was also a couple of interesting houses along the way. Would definitely recommend for others.

    Crane Point Hammock Tour
Take the tour. You’ll be driven thru the whole hammock by a volunteer guide. There is so much information and interesting facts. You’ll tour the old house which is very cool. Only way in is on the tour. There’s the fish pedicure and lots of photo ops as it’s just beautiful.

    Highly recommend Kayak/Snorkel
Highly recommend Crane Point’s kayak and snorkeling package. Lijah was so accommodating!! They have brand new kayaks and snorkeling gear. We paddled out to two different islands. The first island we counted about a dozen large, colorful iguanas (orange). Lijah has nicknamed the largest iguana, “Sasquatch-iguana“!! We packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed the beautiful day on the other island. After lunch, we continued kayaking in the Gulf of Mexico. We saw some beautiful fish along the mangroves without suiting up to snorkel. Some fish that we saw were clown fish, parrotfish, and many others. After being out on the water for approximately 3 1/2 hours, we returned to Crane Point’s beautiful nature preserve. Next we did the fish pedicure. (Highly recommend the kayaking as a MUST DO! Thanks Lijah)

Great fun for a reasonable price
We enjoyed our afternoon at Crane Point. Don’t miss the trolley tour. They fill up so call in advance to reserve a space. It is a tremendous value for everything there is to see and do there. Ronnie our guide was very knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna.

    Thanks Dee
Wonderful facility, well maintained, easily walked or ride the tour guide trolly. We rode the trolly Dee was our hostess. She did an amazing job telling us about the history and nature of the area. Take the trolly and you get inside the Crane House, walkers do not get thgis option.

    Excellent Trolley Tour
We have been to Crane Point several times, but this is the first time we took the trolley tour. It was great. Ronnie was incredibly knowledgeable about every facet of the park from history to plants and spiders. It was fun to be able to explore inside the Crane house. We would highly recommend!
