A Nice View of the Forbidden City’s Roofs
The park is said to be especially worth visiting in the morning when there’s tai chi and a charming local life. Later in the day, when we visited, the main attraction is to hike up the park’s small hill (takes no more than 10 minutes) and enjoy the view over to the Forbidden City. However, it's mostly the roofs that you can get a decent picture of.

    Magnificent views of Forbidden City
The views of Forbidden City from Wanchun Pavilion at this park were amazing; it was definitely worth the time to go to Jingshan Park. In fact I found it to be such a lovely park it would have been nice to spend more time there. We climbed up to two pavilions of the five and saw a nice bonsai collection. There is a gift shop that had very unique items I hadn't seen anywhere else though pricey.

For that picture perfect postcard photo
Jingshan park is a must go, if you wanted a good aerial photo of the Forbidden City. We entered by the less crowded East Gate, and walked up the slope. The incline was gentle, so it was very manageable, even for someone who seldom exercises.

    The picture perfect park
Wow! What a park this is. The history is engaging and the nature is the beautiful. The flowers and small plants stand out especially. The grand finale at Jingshan park is the Birds Eye view of Beijing. On one side you can see the forbidden city and on the other you can see Beijing itself. It’s definitely worth the hike!
