A mixture of old and new
The network is extensive and convenient to use. Visitors who have a contactless credit/debit card need not worry about how to buy a ticket. The card can be used to pay and get through the gates. With a daily cap of £8.2 (zone 1 and2), the fares can still be considered reasonable. The new lines ( say QE line) and upgraded stations are very modern. On the other hand, there are still lines (say Piccadilly) and many stations awaiting improvements. For many lines, once underground, the smartphone can no longer receive data. I hope I am wrong, but it appears that many stations are still not wheelchair accessible. This is quite unacceptable for an international city as London.

Wish every city had a metro like London
There is nothing I have experienced like the London Underground. It is so efficient and covers so much area. Two times in a row I have had a connection in London where a flight got cancelled. I was able to use the tube to get into London for a few hours of shopping and eating during the extended layover. So easy and inexpensive. And you don't even have to buy tickets or cards or whatever. Just scan your credit card (if chipped) and you are set. If you are in London and haven't tried it, you should. No better way to get around.

    Cars run constantly
They have people stationed by the entrance,so we just asked each time what train to take, much easier. Lots of routes and transfers. Recommend getting an oyster card, we ordered ours in advance of the time worked great.

    It's a lundun thing
Love the underground system in london it's so easy to use. And if u struggle with something or don't know if it's the right train, u can always just ask the next person and that person will tell you. People in london are very nice and helpful! And the staff is often very nice Luke forexample some stations don't have an elevator and I vas traveling solo with my luggage and was struggling í was always offered a hand even tho one of the staff was having serious back problems he still helped me with my luggage up the stairs that was so sweet. And u never really have to wait long for a train Big shoutout to london underground system I recommend getting the oyster card

Extremely easy to understand and very clean.
we used the Underground three times on our long weekend trip to Central London. One trip to King's Cross from Leicester Square and then back. Once from Aldgate East to Embankment. The Aldgate trip was after a Jack the Ripper Tour and the Tube was not busy at all. Plenty of available seats (a Monday Night). The King's Cross trip was busy on the way there and extremely busy on the way back. The American Football Game that was playing that weekend had just ended and there were people everywhere. Still, everyone was polite and it worked great. Get your Oyster Card in advance if you are a tourist. We had ours mailed to us in the States. They never expire, so we cane use them again on a future trip.

    Mind Blowing
It still blows my mind how you can get anywhere at anytime and everything runs like clockwork. Never a delay, and a train every couple of minutes. One of the best public transports I’ve ever seen.

    A very impressive transportation system.
It is a little overwhelming and confusing at first because the system is so vast. Once you get focused on the line you want or need to use, you can get anywhere and see almost every main attraction for little cost. A very impressive system.

    Great way to travel
We used the underground extensively whilst staying in London. Probably frequented most stations in central London over the 4 days we were there! The service was good, usually on time. Only issues were on some lines the trains were old and they were uncomfortably noisy. Also on occasion it was extremely busy and there was a lot of pushing and shoving. We used out debit cards to travel so it was easy. Journeys are priced individually depending on what zone you are in and there are also daily and weekly caps. We hit our daily cap most days we were there and that capped the cost at £8.10. Children under 11 travel free with a paying adult - just tap your card and both of you go through the disabled / pushchair gate.

    Good quick service
If you want to get around London I’d recommend the tube. Download the ap for quick and easy ways to get around. Very convenient to use. You can also download step free guide which shows you the stations to use with a buggy/wheelchair

    Every Credit
I have been on the Underground countless times when visiting the Capital but thought it was time to give credit. A great system that gets you around London and always friendly staff. Easy to navigate and now with paying with your phone you don’t have the issue of queuing for your ticket. At least London have done this right well done.
