- JupiterCelebrities like PGA Tour golfers Ernie Els and Camilo Villegas, singer Celine Dion and actor Burt Reynolds own homes in Jupiter, a beach town on the Atlantic Ocean. The same things that many tourists love such as beautiful beaches, excellent, championship-style golf courses, a plethora of scuba diving sites, and historic sites presumably enamor the celebs as well. One of Florida’s most golf happy regions, the Jupiter area is home to miles of spectacular fairways. You can tee up at more than 50 courses in and around Jupiter such as Jupiter Dunes, Cypress Links, Jonathon’s Landing, Emerald Dunes Golf Club and the PGA National Resort. For beach lovers, popular places to sun and fun include Jupiter Beach Park, Juno Beach Park, and Blowing Rocks Beach on Jupiter Island. Dive enthusiasts have access to more than 30 artificial reefs such as King Neptune, a nine-foot statue of King Neptune and his turtles, and Breakers Reef, a two-mile reef with a five to fifteen foot ledge brimming with fish. Sightseeing highlights encompass the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and the Dubois Home, an 1898 pioneer home listed on the National Register of Historic Places that was built on an ancient Indian Shell Mound.Read more
- Boca RatonHugging the shoreline between West Palm Beach to the north and Fort Lauderdale to the south, Boca Raton enjoys all the charm and affluence that Florida has to offer. - Port Saint LucieFor a town that was no more than a fishing camp and a few farms fifty years ago, Port Saint Lucie has grown to be a lovely holiday spot. Port Saint Lucie is the location of the spring training camp for the New York Mets. Visit Tradition Field and see how the team is shaping up for the coming season. Then, if you love to golf, head over to the PGA Village, a 51-hole complex with a learning centre and historical centre. To the east of Port Saint Lucie is the Atlantic Ocean, so you'll want to schedule at least one day for the beach. Port Saint Lucie is also located just north of the Saint Lucie River, so you can explore the beauty of the river region on the St. Lucie River Princess. You'll cruise in comfort and be taken by the breathtaking scenery of natural Florida. The cruise is shaded from the sun and narrated for your education and entertainment. Cruises start in the afternoon, so you can spend a leisurely morning first. You can also explore nature on foot by hiking in the Savannas Preserve State Park. The park also offers canoe trips and guided explorations. No trip to Port Saint Lucie would be complete without a visit to Lily's Cafe. It serves great food at great prices. If you're lucky, Lily herself might be your waitress. If you're feeling more exotic, El Cubanito serves Cuban cuisine in a family atmosphere. Other restaurants include seafood, Indian cuisine, and American cuisine.Read more
Read more

- Port Aransas
Among the busiest tourist spots in Texas, Port Aransas is a small city, but incredibly popular due to its excellent fishing and beaches. It's based on small Mustang Island, just off the Gulf Coast. Port Aransas can make the perfect location for a family holiday, but as it is also a popular destination for college students on spring break, you may want to check your dates before you book! A humid sub-tropical climate similar to South Florida is just one of the regions attractions, but the town's small size and the popularity of its beach means that hotel prices can be very high indeed.
The beach at Port Aransas is one of its main draws, and you will probably spend at least a few days here, especially as you're allowed to drive cars and even park (if you have a permit) on the 18 miles of beach! Along with sunbathing and reading a good book, the beach provides opportunities for a wide range of water sports, such as water skiing, parasailing, surfing and windsurfing. You can also perfect your swing while the kids are swimming by trying out the course at the Newport Dunes Golf Club. It's a challenging course, and the views are truly spectacular out over the sea. But in addition to these predictable holiday pursuits, the authorities have also been aiming to build the city's tourism revenues by promoting eco-tourism, so there are also a great many bird hides, kayak paddling trails and there is also a large nature reserve under construction which will soon provide opportunities for hiking and wildlife spotting.

Once your luggage is full of china, crystal, liquor and jewelry, you can explore life outside the markets, and there's no shortage of options. You can visit Fort Christian, the 17th century Dutch stronghold; swim or snorkel in the calm blue waters of Magens Bay; hop a ferry to St. John; or just lie beside the pool with a daiquiri.Read more
