The "Morning Oceanfront Trail Ride" begins at the Mendes Ranch Corral and will take you down the edge of the scenic valley to the coastline where you will have an opportunity to view the magnificent waters of the Pacific Ocean before heading back up to the corral. At the coastline, our trail guides will take photos of you with the majestic seascape in the background. RIDE LENGTH: 1.5 hours CHECK-IN: 8:45 am (Departs at 9:00 am) We take the safety of our riders and horses very seriously and will therefore strictly enforce our weight limit of 230#. Due to our terrain of going up & down the mountain, if the horse slips, we face serious injury to both. If you show up on sight with questionable weight, we will take you to the scale. No refund will be available if you are denied as we are booked to capacity and could have sold your space. Kahumoku Family Farm is located on the Hawaiian island of Maui 8 miles north of the county seat of Wailuku. The 2 ½ acre farm rests on the pristine northern slope of the West Maui Mountains in the Cliffs at Kahakuloa agricultural subdivision. Catch sweeping views of the ocean from the farm over the lush taro patches and vegetable gardens. We have taro patches, miniature horses, sheep & lambs, native Hawaiian plants, and all tours are led by Hawaii's Renaissance Man, George Kahumoku Jr, the reknowned Slack Key guitarist and personality. Tours currently include Botanical Tour, Music Day, Meet the Animals, and a Volunteer Day with prices and start times varying for each one.

Artist gallery and working studio. Come meet the artists and see them work! The gallery showcases over 30 local artists with a wonderful sculpture garden that features sculpture and indigenous edible plants! A family of sculptors, Steve and Christine create their work on property from wood, stone, clay and bronze. From monumental abstracts to lifesize realism, challenges are always welcome for any project!
