We popped down to this place few weeks earlier. to check its restaurant. And it was fantastic. This time we stayed for the night, well, half a night to be precise, as we arrived very late - the whole hotel was closed for the night, but because they knew about us coming late - the night security person opened the door for us. Great night sleep in spacious room, as we had a largest in house bedroom called Etiuda (or Family Suite), and we really enjoyed the room's interior design with visible attention to every detail. Wifi with good signal. Nice breakfast. Small car park at the back. Garden at front with limited number of chairs and tables. Hotel is located right between the town and the spa park in Duszniki, so whenever you want to go and visit - it is a car or a walk, as there's no ublic transport. Would go back there, highly recommended.

This hotel has no elevator. So if you have any trouble with stairs, do not go to this hotel. Get your own bagage upstairs, nobody is helping you.
Information is poor, nobody speaks English or Deutsch, only Polish.
Breakfast was average, not very special.
Rooms were nice and big enough.
Nice sauna, but in basement, with stairs.
Staff was friendly and wanted to help.

Visited from England. Very friendly helpful staff. Our room was a suite, nicely decorated and comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet corner of the town but close to the park. Breakfast was pleasant with a good variety but the evening restaurant meal was disappointing.

Very disappointing! This hotel looks nice from the outside, but that's where the good experience ended for us. The staff was extremely indifferent, unprofessional and hostile. To start with, the wi-fi was so weak and unreliable that it was completely unusable. When we asked the receptionist about it, she said that if we wanted good wi-fi we had to sit in the restaurant. I had to cancel a very important Zoom meeting because how can I hold a Zoom meeting in a restaurant while other guests want to have a quiet dinner? The breakfast was terrible, on the first day they forgot to give us coffee, water, juice and bread. We had to ask for everything and they didn't even express any regret or apology. On our second day we came across a buffet that was cold and completely uninspiring. The bread was stale, the vegetables limp and tasteless, and when we asked for fruit, they brought some whole apples and oranges. I suppose we were expected to wash, peel and cut our own fruit? Meanwhile, the shower stall in our bathroom was so small that it was very difficult for an adult of normal height to fit in it. Finally, when we checked out, the receptionist just took our key and said "that's it". This hotel charges such high prices but the quality of services offered is so low in comparison. We will never stay here again and will not recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

I was very disappointed with the luck of hospitality at this hotel. Not a single smile, not a single welcoming word, ever. We felt like we were a nuisance to the staff. Upon arrival, without a word of welcome, I was given a form to fill out and then the keys were handed over to me. There is no elevator. We were the only guests at the breakfast, upon arrival at our table a plate of cold meats and cheese was put in front of us (without a single word) and then the person disappeared. After about 5 minutes I went to look for someone and they delivered bread, then a few minutes later I had to remind them of coffee, then I had to remind them about juice, then I have to remind them of jam. The internet in our room was not working properly. As I had an important business meeting that evening, I went to the reception to ask about the internet and I was told I could use the internet in the restaurant. The thought of having a business meeting in front of people who would be having dinner at the same time was new to me. I had to reschedule the meeting.
Our second breakfast was a bit better (a buffet, I guess the previous night we were the only guests). I told the grumpy waiter that we would like more fruit and he brought an unpeeled apples and an unpeeled orange...
At the departure the person at the front desk took the key and said "ok" without looking at me. The staff was always smoking in front of the hotel without doing any work. They seem to be so deadly bored it it was really painful to watch them (our window was facing the smoking area). Our second window was facing the neighboring building where a lady would always sit and look into our room. Annoying.
This hotel is at this point a total failure. It is horribly overpriced for the service they offer.

We spend a winter holiday at this hotel some years ago, and had great expectations for a re-visit this summer.
What a wrong decision to make!
After a long day on the roads, we arrived saturday around 18:30. We were told that dinner was served until 20:00, so we skipped the cold beer after driving, unpacked, showered, dressed up, and was ready at 19:25 precise.
- Sorry, the kitchen was closed and the cook had left the premises, -very sorry!
But you said eight o'clock!
-Sorry sir, very sorry.
We were advised to walk down the valley a couple of kilometer to find a restauracja, where we got some sausage and beer.
On our walk back to the hotel we were looking forward to enjoy a cold drink at the patio in the warm summer evening before turning in. We arrived at 21:00. -Sorry, sorry, but the bar was closed, the bartender had left the premises!! The girl in the reception offered us some bottles of beer, which was luke.
The breakfast was "wielkie rozczarowanie" as well. There was only one pot of coffee, which was neglected most of the time. We ate in silence, as did the few other guests.
I dont know if the management has changed since our last visit, I didn't bother to ask
before we left next morning. If so, they will probably be out of business quite soon, or - turn the establishment into old-people's home. What it really has become.

During our tour around Eastern Europe, specifically between Prague and Krakow, we found ourselves tired and running out of daylight so we decided to stop off at the next "possible" spot. We weren't expecting much in southern Poland, and this hadn't been the first time that we decided to do this and suffered the consequences: lousy hotel, no hotel, or expensive and bad hotel. However, in this instance, it turned out to be one of our most delightful stopovers.

The hotel was impressive from the outside and the large rooms and somewhat ornate interior decoration made us feel old-school elegance, without the price. We walked along the river to some nearby by restaurants and bars with lots of atmosphere and very friendly locals. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were fine and spacious as well. Breakfast was included and we were gone by the next morning. Can't say much about the staff, but it was still a great bargain and great little place to visit (for a night).

Together with my husband we spent a week in Fryderyk last year. We were really pleased with the service and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The personnel were helpful and friendly but not intrusive. Since we stayed there for 8 nights we got a quiet room with a big balcony. They accept dogs as well - the rate we were given was 20 PLN per night.

"I'm Japanese who lives in Sydney for 18 years. I'm bank officer and I work hard for 11 months and save money for my trip, then take 1 month holiday. I go to Doszniki(small town in Poland) for International Chopin Piano Festival in August every year. I enjoy being in Duszniki, seeing great concert, meeting great pianists, seeing local friends, meeting new friends and doing some activities. After Duszniki I usually travel around Europe or East Europe. I went to Dubai in Aug.2015, it was great. I am planning to go to Dubai in 2015 again."
