Thank you Su and Tony for a warm welcome and a brilliant weekend. A lovely village and a comfortable historic and homely guest house. A large room with a lovely en suite plenty of storage and so comfortable me and my dog loved it. Excellent value for money. Great breakfast cereal fresh fruit a lovely cooked breakfast the best vegetarian sausages ever. Really handy to have the Wortley Arms pub right next door for good evening meal. I would thoroughly recommend this to everyone and can't wait to stay again next year

A very pleasant stay at the lovely Wortley Cottage, very friendly and kind owners who showed us around the accommodation and suggested nice areas to visit including Wortley Hall. The room was cosy and clean with and en-suite bathroom, and had all the amenities needed including a fridge just down the hallway for guests to use. Breakfast can be booked with your stay and included a lovely full English breakfast, along with a selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt all from the local farm shop or locally sourced. A beautiful location with green hills and nice woodland walks.

A really comfortable cottage to stay in. comfortable bed and room and a great breakfast. Handy for the daily paper in the morning. Hosts very welcoming. The pub next door does lovely food also... Jack

Can thoroughly recommend this guest house. The owners are most welcoming and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, with very good shower and tea/coffee making facilities. It is set in a village that has seen little change over the last century or so and is full of character, yet has everything you need for either a restful or active holiday. The breakfast is especially good, particularly the fresh fruit salad & all the cooked items are prepared as requested. Excellent value for money.

A quaint countryside B&B with all the modern amenities. Kind, friendly and helpful host. Quiet, clean rooms, comfortable beds, bathrooms sparkinling clean and first class shower. Delicious cooked breakfast with every need catered for ( jam, honey, peanut butter, cereals, fruit salad and fresh bread/ toast. We would love to return as we were very happy with the excellent service and friendly atmosphere.
