Fab find! Rooms are of a good size and impeccably clean. Within walking distance of Yarm. Breakfast was fab value and quite a bit of choice. Would definitely recommend! Lots of ample parking and some shops and a pub near by. Staff are very friendly.

No, its not a hotel - no function room, licensed bar or meals throughout the day. But this place is terrific in what it does do. Scrupulously clean accommodation and exceptionally friendly staff prepared to go out of their way to assist with individual needs. Highly recommended for disabled visitors (like my wife). Plenty of car parking space on the premises. Situated in a quiet estate. The bedroom was equipped with a king-sized double bed. Decent bright lighting from a single ceiling fitting - none of the gimmicky stuff you find in some places. Bed lights beside bed. (You could probably carry one over to the desk if you wanted extra light there.) Heating from one radiator with thermostatic valve - easy to regulate temperature as desired. Adequate wardrobe space, augmented by hooks over the door. Bathroom had walk-in shower - wet room style, well sloped for drainage, but with additional shower screen to restrict stray splashing. Plenty of towel hanging space. Just a couple of small points - a grab-rail for support would have been handy; also the shower screen and its door did tend to restrict space around the shower. The staff kindly offered a temporary grab rail for support. Overall a better standard of room than in most hotels we have stayed in. Breakfast is optional and served in the breakfast room, which serves as a guest lounge at other times. Very flexible menu cooked to a high standard. My wife's individual dietary needs and general preferences were well met. Shopping parade nearby, with various food outlets, also a pub. Many more amenities in Yarm, nearby. We'll certainly strongly consider staying here again the next time we are in this area.

We were looking for a 3 night stop over in Eaglescliff to catch with family. Our stay was excellent with a warm spacious and comfortable room. There was ample parking and the whole facility was spotless. The breakfast is excellent value and ALL the staff are fantastic. A great stay.

This hotel is located in a dwelling area and you can park your car just in front of the main entrance. The rooms are rather big and clean ; my TV set did not work, however (or it was far too complex to make it work, which is basically the same ...). At breakfast, I was missing just some nice bread and good coffee (coffee served was far too weak). Still I would recommend this place.

A small welcoming and friendly hotel, well appointed comfy rooms, spotlessly clean. And good breakfasts too. Great value and a greatplace to stay for business or holiday break. Located on the edge of a housing estate the hotel is quiet with no traffic noise. Great for a restful nights stay

We travelled up to abbeyfield lodge from Leeds as we were attending a friends wedding in Stockton. The staff greeted us on arrival and were so friendly. The family room was spacious and super clean. The staff even organised a taxi for us to get to the wedding venue. The beds were so comfy I didn’t want to have to get out of it the next day but I’m glad I did because the breakfast was spot on and cooked fresh individually. The staff asked about the wedding and again were so lovely and friendly. The electric car charging point was also an added bonus. I would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely stay again when we are next up north.
