Triple room for three with free parking right at the entrance. Room was warm, clean and we slept well. Had a meal and drinks which was spot on and breakfast also hit the spot. Staff very friendly and the owners could not have made us feel more welcome. The place has an identity of its own, with beautiful planting making it look amazing. I left with fresh figs grown by the owner and my granny with a tray of plants. Thank you for your hospitality and good luck with your plans for the place!

We booked for Sunday lunch. It took around 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive(and we had to ask). Lunch arrived cold after half an hour. We ate it because we were hungry but left Loads. No one asked if we enjoyed. Never return. Staff too busy to ask if everything was OK

We stayed here 2 nights while at a nearby wedding. The room was a good size & comfortable - all are on ground floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a small hotel so not the vast breakfast choices you get at a chain hotel, but sufficient. I loved the way the outside was divided into different bar areas with lots of plants and bushes.

Lovely feel to the place, it’s right up my street, the ambiance is nice, the setting and scenery is beautiful. We didn’t have food, just some drinks but the grounds are so pretty we could of sat all day. I felt like I was abroad. The place is quirky and relaxing.

Visited for a private family party in the function room. We had a 2 course meal. Service was absolutely fantastic, staff were very attentive, drinks were flowing, atmosphere was wonderful. Only criticism is the fish for the main course was frozen, rather than freshly cooked, no restaurant should serve frozen fish, however i still actually enjoyed it. Other than that, it was a perfect night! Function room is beautiful!

The 1 star reviews are racking up, nearing the 5 star.. Summary of the worst night.. Last night was far and away the hospitality experience I can recall. Booked 7.30 Sat down 15 mins til asked if wanted a drink Asked for cocktail menu Food arrived 8.45 as apparently there was a big table in, shouldn’t be our problem Food passable though other half’s pasta cold, inexplicably Asked for bill, twice Paid only to find out we’d need over charged, by £30 plus Raised it, waiter responsible faded away, staff shrugged and said it was another tables bill. It wasn’t, some items we’d had and no one else had a Singapore sling. Discuss… Still fuming a full day later.

Stopped here with family for early evening meal. They do 3 courses for £10 before 5.30. Food was OK, not great, you get what you pay for after all. The service however was riculously slow, we felt forgotten! Surroundings were pleasant. .

As usual Paulo was very attentive and friendly. Showed us the wedding venue they have recently completed. Food was excellent as always, a great afternoon out. Very busy as a wedding was in progress. Service was excellent although a bit slower due to the big wedding. Never mind we enjoyed the afternoon with Paulo always checking we were ok

The team at Michelangelo pulled out all the stops for my friend’s 40th birthday celebrations. The hot buffet was to die for, huge amounts of food and it was delicious. They decorated the venue to her colour theme and the atmosphere was fantastic. The team couldn’t do enough to help. Would thoroughly recommend!
