A m a z i n g! The staff are so so Nice! Paul was our server most of the time here and he is great as a server, but most important as a person! Always Smiling and Happy :) The cocktails were very good! Especially the Mojito and the Margarita. (The lime comes directly from the tree by the pool) - The price is reasonable compare to the world. The Rooms are so Big! Especially the ones outside. Around evening time , the housekeeping is coming and closing the net against the insects. I love this place. It was my piece of heaven for two days. This place is one of the best places to relax and unwind before and after a safari. It’s very close to the Kilimanjaro International Airport, therefore catching a flight, even at midnight won’t be a problem . The staff are excellent. The food is homely, freshly made prepared with local fresh ingredients, is delicious. The rooms are tastefully decorated with modern amenities but with African esthetic touch. There are shady trees and the hotel ground is huge, the pool is good too- ideal for children to play around. It’s quiet and laidback. So many different birds visit regularly. They thrive in this garden full of fruit trees and the air in the garden smells of sweet nectar. Suggestion- the online payment system needs to be improved, ACs need to be serviced and just as suggestion, the hotel management may plant more colourful flowers like roses 🌹 and calendulas etc as the soil and climate is ideal. We used the lodge as a place to stay on the way out of the bush, and before heading to the airport. Many others were just getting in from their flights and used as a place to stay overnight before starting their excursions - it's great for both. We were able to eat, grab a drink, shower and relax before our flight which really made a big difference. The pool was fantastic too - great way to cool down and relax. Walking trails - well maybe a bit of an overstatement as there really aren't walking trails. But food was good, and people were super nice - we would definitely stay here again. My only "complaint" is that they were watering the grass and plants - in a place that has serious water issues, I'd prefer that they were more eco-friendly.

Hôtel is just 15 minutes drive from the Kili airport and offers a good shuttle service. Simple and comfortable, spacious room and quiet rooms, bungalow style, overlooking the pretty garden. Good pizza. Very good is too much as a rating, good would be the fair one. Kind manager and restaurant team.

This slice of paradise was just what we needed after two weeks of trekking, hiking and climbing. The staff was incredibly hospitable, the room was large, very clean and the food was great. I don't know when I will be back across the world but this is where I would come back to. FANTASTIC STAY!

Quick overnight stay great staff and rooms. The pool was great as well as the food. Reasonable drink prices and unexpected popcorn served with our drinks as the pool. We were late arriving yet the welcoming washcloths and juice and cookies were so appreciated.

Pretty charmless place but children enjoyed their pizza which they said was good. Proximity to airport is the best thing about this place as otherwise I’d avoid. Rooms are adequate and clean but felt like being in a prison so not recommended

Thank you for choosing us… glad you kids enjoyed their pizzas! Not sure why you felt like you were in a prison despite all the vegetation in our gardens. Although the property is nicely secured by a wall and electric fencing (due to being in a relatively remote location), we have plenty of vegetation around said wall and fence. Glad you enjoyed the location for easy access to JRO airport! We get that we are not your cup of tea and that is to be expected… best wishes.

I was fortunate to stay at this terrific hotel (which is well situated for the Kilimanjaro airport) three times in a ten day period, and I could not recommend it more highly. It is an oasis of calm efficiency, the Manager (Abuu) and his team (particularly Everest, Happy, and Shaffi, and all the restaurant staff), were so welcoming, attentive, helpful and courteous, and all facilities (including the pool and change rooms) were spotlessly clean and tidy. The airport shuttle was most appreciated, and the provision of a work space with internet was also. Thank you all for providing a really lovely home away from home and for such kind and generous service.

Beautiful hotel with rooms down a garden path. Staff are very helpful and speak good English. Food was delicious. Breakfast was a buffet with eggs cooked to order. Dinner was a fixed menu with several choices. AC worked very well. The pool area is beautiful and clean. This was my 4th stay. Highly recommend.
