We stay in the hotel for 6 nights as part of a group doing a " star trip "
in Montenegro. Large and comfortable rooms. The service was very good even though a couple in the group complained about cleaning problems. Breakfast and dinner were above expectations in terms of dishes variety and good taste. A large and clean pool.

Have just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel, as part of a 10 night trip in Montenegro. The hotel was fantastic and great value for money. It's been completely refurbished and is very smart and contemporary. The rooms were a decent size, we had our 4 month old son with us, in the baby cot provided by the hotel so it was a little tight including our luggage etc.

The staff are really great, very helpful, polite and approachable. As the room didn't provide a kettle we kept asking for boiling water to make our sons bottles and that was never a problem, no mater what time of day.

The location is really nice, Petrovac is super chilled and family friendly so it was a good relaxing end to our trip. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance etc so lots of options in the evening if you aren't full board at the hotel.

The only positive point for this hôtel is the room.
They are suite spacy and confortable.

Expect this positive point, the remaining ones are a disaster :
Staff not friendly : i have never seen such non involvement from a staff.
Not adapted for children : no mini disco / animations or playground
Pool quite dirt : it seems it is not cleaned every day
Food of restaurant not good and always the same
ALL inclusive does not include a cakes / fruits / ice cream
Beach close to the hôtel is dirt and always full. You have to rent a transat (30€)

The hotel itself is very cool, the rooms are new and lovely. but the hotel is not clean, they don't replace the sheets at all! there are mosquitoes on the roof and walls of the room that is dead but didn't clean! the service is not good! not all the staff speaks english which makes it very hard to speak with them, some of them are rude, one time we called the reseption and asked for something, because they don't want to bring it to us they hang up the phone in our face.
the food is not bad & its close to the center and the beaches.
for me it was a place to go back to at the end of the day and sleep in, but I will never go back to the same place again.

Actually I did not expect much from this stay. But at the end of the stay my wife and I were really upset to leave this nice place. Briefly:
1) The food is excellent. Nice selection of meat, fruits and tasty salads. Not much deserts, but is ok. Do not try everything at the first day!!!=) Assortment does not change much.
2) Rooms are super clean, bright, stylish and renovated.
3) Staff is friendly, but not too much. It is totally ok. Too friendly people makes me guilty of not being friendly.
4) Free wi-fi is available only at lobby.
5) Sea is 3 minutes by walking

Overall, I highly recommend it to anybody!

We came to Petrovac to find some place to stay there for 7 days. We came with motorbike from Slovenia and we don't have a reservation. We payed 80€ for two person per a day, including breakfast and dinner, which in my opinion is very nice price! The room was very cledaned, smells well :). The room has also a balcony and air condition. The bedroom is very nice in a blue colour, the bathroom is also big. The all place is so cosy! And the food was delicious! The staff also very friendly, especially cleaning lady which clened our bedroom, 447! :) The hotel has also a swimming pool which is also very cleaned and there is also a bar, and the beer (in general all drinks) are realy not expencive if you compare with some bars near the hotel.

I higly recommendet this hotel, we are sure that we will come back in the near future, this was realy the best vacation we ever had!

An excellent hotel that has been nicely renovated. Rooms, staff, food and service are all good.
One con. The swimming pool is beautiful but much too small. There are not enough sunbeds because there is not enough room around the swimming pool. People started reserving the sunbeds with towels before breakfast.
The real problem is Petrovac itself. This used to be a beautiful fishing village. It is small, just a strip of land between the mountains and the beach.
Russians started pumping money into the resort because it is an ideal holiday destination for Russian families They started building houses and hotels everywhere, which made the resort very crowded.
The view of the seafront was one of the reasons to visit Petrovac. Then they started building a large, luxurious hotel on the seafront. The money dried up and they stopped building. It is now a half-built eyesore.
Over the years the beach has become much smaller as well. It now a narrow strip.

We are a family of three and we stayed in this hotel with our 4 year old girl. We booked 12 nights with breakfast and dinner directly via the hotel's website and experienced no initial issues with the booking. On our arrival, however, we were told that the online quote didn't include dinner despite written confirmation suggesting otherwise. Reception staff was very friendly and they handled the matter reasonably well (although we ended up paying additional €90 for the halfboard service, the residency tax of €24 and some type of insurance of €18 despite having our own). We provided constructive feedback to reception staff both verbally and in writing, specifically on improving their online booking service and ensuring much better transparency over all hotel charges. Apart from this our overall experience of this hotel has been very positive and we would recommend staying in this hotel to anyone visiting the bohemian coastal village of Petrovac.

The hotel staff are all very friendly and eager to help, receptionists, baggage handlers, waitresses and cleaners in particular. We are originally from the region and it didn't take us too long to get on friendly terms with nearly everyone as we speak Serbo-Croat. Our special thanks to Sonja, Ana and Dule who made our stay and dinning particularly pleasant. We will remember fondly our little chats, jokes and special attention they gave to our daughter.

Breakfast and dinner service is very good. We enjoyed local dishes the most but the selection and quality of other dishes was not far behind. Of course, most food reviews are usually subjective and our food taste might not live up to everyone's expectations. That said, we must say that in the past we'd paid much more for much less in some top tourist destinations (e.g. Spain, Greece, Cyprus). We were therefore very pleased with our halfboard service.

The double room we stayed in was small but cosy. We found the room stylish, modern, clean and the family bed very comfortable. The view from the balcony wasn't spectacular, far from it, but we didn't ask for any such view and we were mostly out and about anyway.

There is no night entertainment in the hotel and the tiny bar by the reception stands out for its modesty.

The pool area is reasonable; it offers comfy sunbeds and chairs but the actual swimming pool is small and there is no bar service. Finding a place here might be a challenge at times.

The play area for children is small with some daily play activities mostly designed for Russian speaking children (some non-Russian parents found this very odd and complained about it). We were not too bothered because we had no intention of involving our little one in any play activities.

In terms of demographics, the guests are predominantly Russians and Ukrainians (who we thought were rude at times, mostly introvert, foreign to the concept of queuing and reluctant to speak any other language but their own); others included the French and ex Yugoslavs who were a much friendlier bunch.

Nothing is too far away from the hotel because Petrovac is a small place and the hotel is only 5 minutes from the (pebbled!) beach and the busy promenade.

I like this hotel, it's new and has nice architecture. Petrovac is small place, but still it's nice to be close to the beach, and hotel is just few minutes away from it. Also has nice pool. I recommend it!
