It is the only 5* hotel in the cosy village of Petrovac, far from the crowded Budva. We had a standard room which was a bit tiny and not always with a good smell, but the room was ok and modern, and with a lateral view od the sea and mountain, we spent 7 nights on a B/B basis and the hotel was quite full with a lot of families and kids, breakfast was ok and there was a lot of things to eat if you are hungry from the morning. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the private beach, that is its spacious and nicer than other beaches, they give you free towels, sunbeds and wifi on the beach and you can charge every extra on the room, the hotel has also a nice outdoor pool, but there are very few sunbeds for guests and it is close to the main street with many buses passing by. Spa was fine, we had a couple massage, they were quite professional, we also tried the small but functional gym. All the staff was always smiling and very helpful and fluent in English. Housekeeping was often a bit late (in the afternoon) but after we told them they started doing the room in the morning, It would be better with a few more elevators, at peak hours it was quite difficult to catch one. The hotel has also a private parking with valet service. Price compared to service was fair enough.

This was our base for 7 nights on our Riviera Travel Montenegro Tour.

From start to finish, it was superb. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the reception staff and served drinks, which was a lovely gesture. Despite the large number of guests on our tour, we were quickly checked in and the majority of the rooms were already available even though we arrived at lunchtime and normally the rooms aren’t available until 2pm. We had to wait a short while for our room (505) to be ready but were very comfortable in the lounge/bar area.

We had upgraded our room to a double deluxe sea view with balcony and it was spacious and more than adequate for our needs. It was very clean, with plenty of wardrobes and storage space, a safe, the bed was extremely comfortable, the en-suite was large and well stocked with toiletries, there was a fridge, a kettle and tea/coffee provided in the room. The balcony was a good size, complete with table and chairs, and the view was delightful.

The hotel has two swimming pools, one indoor and one outdoor, with plenty of chairs, tables, loungers and parasols nicely spread out on 3 different terraces. There is also a spa offering a large range of treatments and facilities.

The restaurant provides an extensive buffet for breakfast and dinner and there is also a separate area for à la carte dining at an extra charge if you wish. We were more than happy with the food provided at the buffet, which was replenished regularly as required. The area was kept spotlessly clean and the staff were very attentive, quickly clearing plates and ensuring everything ran smoothly.

The hotel is very conveniently situated, with a small supermarket a few steps away, the seafront is a 5-minute walk where there are plenty of restaurants and cafés where you can sit and relax.

All of the staff are very friendly, smiling and extremely helpful. They even allowed me to practice my limited understanding of their language!

We would particularly like to thank Goran Ivanovic (the Front Office Manager) and his team for greeting us each time we passed through the lobby and checking that everything was OK. We would also like to thank all of the staff in the main restaurant for their excellent service, particularly Anastasia whose smile always made our day.

This is a lovely hotel, made even better by its fantastic staff. Thank you for making our trip so special. It is a shame that we couldn’t take better advantage of all that you had on offer due to our tour commitments. We would love to come back again if we’re in the area.

The hotel is in a lovely small harbour, good for hikes, restaurants serving Mediterranean food and beautiful views.
We used the spa which in May we had to ourselves. All the staff are welcoming and attentive. We booked a deluxe room with sea view - a must!
There's a super market 5mins walk from hotel which sells everything.
Taxi are on meters, we got one to old town in Budva for a day out €25 -€30 each way. A few hours is enough there.
The only negative to this hotel is that there are no bottled water, tea or coffee in the room and for 5 star hotel you would expect this.

I have stayed in the Melia brand hotel in other Countries and I feel that this Hotel has some improvements to make!

Rooms and cleaning staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough for you, however food - buffet style was awful, you had staff standing/waiting around, I thought due to Covid the staff had to serve you instead of allowing people to pick up their own food, it wasn’t monitored properly, even witnessed a child lick the desserts 1 by 1 and walk away, honestly not a good look.

Yes the beach was 5mins walk, however it need cleaning daily and the beds could be upgraded to offer some sort of luxury, also wouldn’t it make sense that when you walk out of the hotel the beach area allocated to the hotel should be in front and not all the way at the beginning adding on another 5mins walk to your journey.
Noticed that the beds were not actually reserved for the hotel, so if locals wanted to take beds they could and pay extra. Thought this was bad as there were never enough beds for everyone.
The hut could do with a reconstruction as looked like it would fall apart soon plus no clear sign for Melia, I think that considering Melia is a big brand they are lacking in upgrading the hotel facilities in Montenegro.

Not too keen and no entertainment for kids or adults, got very bored and not sure that we will be visiting again, more of a touristy holiday that luxury hotel.

Dear guest, Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. We are very pleased to read most positive comments, however, we are very disappointed that some aspects of your stay didn't meet your expectations. we came to the hotel on 17.06. there were two sachets of coffee and four teas in the coffee corner. no one completed it for 9 days. after these 8 days I bought 10 nescafe sachets and 5 nescafe frappe sachets for my wife. On June 26, 4 teabags and two nescafe teabags appeared again, but the ones I bought were lost. Someone stole them from me. Shower gels and shampoo were not replenished within 10 days. The glasses, mugs and wine glass were unwashed, lips imprinted on the wine glass of perhaps the cleaning lady or perhaps the previous tourist from this room. 3 times after returning to the room the toilet paper was not refilled. the first time I bought it myself, but the next two times I reported it to the reception. The paper was refilled quickly. This is the first time I have stayed in a 5-star hotel where I have to stand up for things that are normal in other 5-star hotels. I will not be nice to mention the hotel cleaning gentlemen, unless this hotel has such a standard, so I will not recommend it to anyone and I will not fail to give the right opinion. I have no comments whatsoever about the staff in the reception, kitchen and dining room. They are helpful and very polite. Is the cleaning lady in charge of this hotel ?. In the description of the hotel offer there is a fridge but you cannot use it because it is only for a mini bar, so why is it included in the offer? Nobody at the hotel knows that.

Their food selection was so limited, desserts were just creamy cakes and cut fruits.
Gym-like micro space was there but the photo makes you think as if there is a state of art gym, which was totally misleading. Although we chose this hotel because they claim that they have a gym, we did not use it even once because of it being inadequate and dangerous.
The most disappointing thing was the access to the beach. Such a long hike and you have to pay for your sunbeds. And the beach is very dirty.
One of the functions that I expect the hotel reception is posting post cards on your behalf but they won't. This is the very first ever hotel in my life where they told me go to the post office. I had to stare at the receptionist to double check whether he really meant it and he did!
I won't be back.

We had booked a room with a mountain view, because there were no more ocean view rooms at Voyage Prive, however, when we arrived at the hotel we asked if they had ocean view rooms available, to which we were told yes, so we paid the supplement and were assigned the room. When we arrived at the room it had two separate single beds, information that the receptionist never shared with us.

We requested that if it was not possible to have a double bed we wanted our initial room with mountain view and we were told that this was already rented and that the only solution was to join the beds of the room with ocean view. We did not agree with this, so we asked the receptionist who was laughing at us to speak to the manager. He said that there was no solution, that the only thing they could do was to reimburse us the supplement (200 euros) and that the rest should be reimbursed by voyage privee and we would have to look for another room.

At that point I asked to speak to another manager, who asked to show us another room with a mountain view that was available. The room was 101, the room they never rent, or the one they rent the least because the balcony is facing the street and in front of a construction site. So we did not accept it.

After contacting voyage privee looking for a solution, one of the managers said he was going to show us another room, this time one with a small and dirty balcony that did not correspond to our reservation. They were looking for us to accept the worst rooms.

Voyage prive contacted the hotel and after this they proposed us that the person who cleaned the rooms could come and convert the single beds in the room with sea view into a double bed, this was the best solution, I don't understand why they made such a big deal out of it.

The next day we wanted to enjoy the beach, and we asked a hotel employee if they could take us to the beach because we did not know where it was, he told us that for the moment the beach was full and there were no chairs or umbrellas available. 10 minutes later he told us that if hqbq availability and we can go. When we arrived there were several chairs and umbrellas available, so we did not understand why we had been told that at the hotel.

The beach is disorganized, dirty, there are no bins and the service from the staff is very bad. It does not look like a beach of a 5 star hotel, big disappointment, we only went once.

The breakfast has a lot of variety, but every day is exactly the same and for a 7 night stay this becomes monotonous. Tip: they should do something different every day for guests staying for several days. For example, one day omelettes, another day savory or sweet crepes, smotthies, etc.

The hotel staff never says hello.

One time we were at the pool without our hotel towels because we had just arrived from a tour and they thought we were not staying at the hotel, 3 of the staff looked at us strangely at the pool, and one of them came up to ask us if we were staying or if we should leave the hotel. Unbelievable that they don't remember their clients.

The passageways are not air conditioned.

This is a 5 star hotel in Montenegro, but by world standards it is more like a 4 star hotel that needs to learn a lot in terms of service.

We stayed in standart room from 27th of August untill 3rd of September and I have to say that hotel does not match 5* level. The building was built sloppily with poor quality finishings and at the moment everything is a bit worn. In our room the toilet paper holder was broken, light for the mirror above sink was not working, the trash can was rusty and stained.
In women lockers near the pool there was no any shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, just one big empty plastic botlle.
In breakfest coffee was what we missed most of all. There was not possible to have good coffee - coffee machine gave just some unpalatable liquid. Food at all was - how to say - featurless. It could be enough with nice lockal fruits, but unfortunately even plums, watermelones and melons were tasteless.

We have stayed in Ami Hotel for 5 nights in early June. The hotel is nice and the room was spacious, very clean and had a nice view overlooking the sea.
There was no mini bar in our room, no water, tea, coffee and no dine in option in the room. We were stopped at the reception when they saw we bought a few snacks in the local supermarket and we were asked to hand over the bag until our departure. Not 5* service if no water or snacks is provided in the room and you are scolded like a child if you want to bring a snack and soft drinks to your room.

Stayed here for 1 week and don’t have anything negative to say besides that you can’t buy food or drink from the shop and bring it to you room because it is not allowed…. but the minibar water is too expensive. The breakfast and dinner is very good and there was always something new to try for dinner. Good hotel to enjoy your stay in Montenegro.
