The hotel are in the end of street. Near the hotel are garbage containers who smells very bad when you go somewere. The room are small but nice. The wall in the balcony was dirty. In bathroom was broken shower head, but when i say about it - they fix it very fast. In the bathroom was shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion and soap bar. But all three soap bars was taked every morning and i should use my self. The brakfeast every morning was almost the same, but was good. Every evening i can choose next dinner from three options. But always was to much salt for our taste. They always give a soup, the main meal what i choose and very, very sweet dessert. The waitresses work without smille and i hear from their ,,good evening" just last evening. The six day their never say back ,,good morning" or ,,good evening", ,,enjoy your meal". The most gentlest girl are Sara, she work in reception. She always was with smille and nicely. I think this hotel are good for Montenegro and Serbia people.

We spent 7 days there.
A very big plus is that the hotel is located close to the beach. The rooms are cleaned daily, it is clean and quiet. The service is very helpful and kind. The breakfasts are fresh and you can fill up with meals. If I will be on vacation again, I will definitely choose this hotel for my next stay.

We spent beautiful 10 days in this hotel. It was comfy, agreeable, clean, calm, with good service and plentiful breakfast. You can visit 4 beautiful nearby beaches in walking distance. Staff was very responsive, polite and always on disposal. Very good communication with all of them. We used a hotel car drive service from airport. Terrace was big with green mountain view. Cute hotel in bright colours and wonderful decoration with wall tapestry. Wifi and A/C were proper. Very peasant stay and domestic atmosphere with beautiful people that we will keep in memories. Greetings to Baco, Snezana, Maxim, Djordje, Igor, Zorica and Luka. We would definitely
turn back.

Staff was polite and helpful. They carried our luggages and gave us a free breakfast baggage in the check-out morning due to our early flight. Hotel and the room was clean and calm. Bed and pillows were comfort. Wi-fi worked occasionally. Our room located on the first floor. The shower was not powerful and there was not enough hot water every evening. The fridgerator was very noisy at night. Average breakfast with excellent coffee. We recommend the sport massage in the hotel.

What ever you do book bed and breakfast, evening meal is awful and that’s being polite, time slot was 7pm to 8pm, although advertised in info folder as 7 to 9pm, forget ordering a drink with meal as no stock. Staff was unprofessional and rude, would not return, only positive is room was kept clean. Harmony or hotel Eleven let me use facility and would definitely return to them.

Interesting situation... We are staying at the WGrand Hotel. We came for the dinner and because it were 6 of us, we asked to move 2 tables together. Manager told that it is impossible😁😁😁 We must seat by 3 or 4 and 2. Okay then a large family came and they put additional chair. I asked why they can do that. Manager of hotel started shout at me at the place where 20 people are eating diner and later she pushed me😛
Welcome to WGrand Hotel in Petrovac
We still have to live here for 4 nights. I wonder what will happen next 🤪🤪🤪

The hotel is in a small town and it was quite and perfect for relaxation. The hygiene is a 100 out of 100. The rooms were cleaned every day. There is Wi-Fi and a gym for those who don't want to lose shape. My words aren't enough for the staff. The people at the reception, the waitresses and especially the manager - Snejana were so friendly and welcoming! No better hotel in the area!

We have just returned from a lovely week spent celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. If you want to come somewhere different then Montenegro is the place. The hotel was excellent especially when you consider it was 3 stars absolutely spotless. The staff although they speak limited English were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were somewhat interesting, with salads meats and cheeses, but i think they were catering for the eastern European tastes. Our room was pleasant with a sea view although sadly it has been masked by a half built high rise hotel down by the sea front. Apparently if you have money in Montenegro you can build pretty much what you want, which i think will eventually spoil a beautiful place. If you want to meet other English people then this is not the holiday for you as the only English people we met were on a trip. Our Thomson's rep was a local girl, incredibly helpful and informative and i would definitely recommend the Skarda Lake tour which is truly stunning as it takes you through the most stunning scenery of mountains and lakes. It was very cheap to eat out and there was lots of choice so i would not recommend going half board.

Having read all the reviews regarding the W Grand Hotel, I'm in total agreement regarding the hotel food.
Don't go half-board;
"The evening meals are terrible!"
The soup is luke warm and tasteless. You pick from a list of 3 choices the night before. I was lucky to view inside the kitchens and got the shock of my life. All the food, meat/vegetables/chips/fish etc are all pre-cooked and are left under heat lamps waiting for you to sit down for your evening meal.
Here's my problem; Even if the food is cooked at 19:00hrs. You can sit down for dinner between the times of 19:00hrs till 21:30hrs.
Breakfast is a buffet. I was quite impressed with the set up until Petrovac Football Club players stayed there. Upon entering the restaurant it was immediately noticeable that all the stops had been pulled out. More meat selections and the food was hot.
The hotel in itself is very good, for a 3 star establishment they offer very comfortable beds, linen is changed twice weekly. The rooms are cleaned daily and the maids do a thorough job.
We stayed in room C21, it had a small kitchen area so we where lucky to be able to boil water etc for coffee/tea etc.
Don't book a room on the 3rd floor, you'll be woken up at 6 in the morning by restaurant staff scraping chairs on the floor.
Please take note of all reviews stating that they had good sea views. None have, Riviera Hotel based on the sea front is carrying out a major building construction of two tower blocks completely shutting off and decent sea views.Someone has handed over a brown envelope, construction of any new building should not exceed 4 floors according to Montenegro Law. Riviera Hotel chain are building 9 floors. "Say no more!"
Petrovac as a resort is a perfect place to go for anyone wanting total relaxation. Live music is virtually non-existent. Except for a few restaurant playing guitarists, that was it. None of your boom! boom! boom! stuff. By eleven o'clock the water front is deserted.
Don't listen to reps etc stating that there's beaches with soft white sand. "They don't exist!" All the beaches have small stones that bite into the soles of your feet. Take one step into the water and your half a meter deep, take another and your up to your chest and try and take another you wont succeed because its deep enough to go swimming. So be warned, keep an eye on your little ones.
Food quality and prices are fantastic, A mixed grill costs approx 12 euros, it will fill 4 adults, along with a salad and chips with drinks - All in around 25 euros for 4 people.
Drinks are priced about the same as UK. Small bottled beer is around 3 euros, draughts 3 euros. Bottled water 1.5 euros. Shorts with mixer around 6 euros. Small bottles of wine 3 euros.
My advice if your booking Petrovac is try and book a hotel or apartment on the North end of the bay, that way your view will not be destroyed by construction sites.
If your planning to book flights and apartments yourself, then i'd highly recommend that you fly in to Tivat Airport. It;s a 30 euro taxi drive to Petrovat and takes approx. 45 minutes. If you decide to fly into Dubrovnik Airport its approx. 4 hours drive away, i'm stating 4 hours because you will spend 2 hours waiting at the boarder crossing to gain entry into Montenegro. We waited 2 hours 15 minutes and we were only three coaches from the front.
As usual, I've been totally honest with my review. If you require any advice on Petrovac then please feel free to ask a question.
Cheers!

I’m not to sure about the sun loungers etc, there may be some on the top floor where the open air breakfast is served, but as for eating you have several good places, my personal fav’ were PONTE CLUB, which is to the extreme left of the beach, thru the stone arch, it has ev’ you could want both for snacks and main meals all day from early morning to late at night, far to much choice to mention here, it also does coffees and teas, soft drinks and beers and wines, the added bonus of going there is that you have FREE use of their sun beds all day, providing you buy a drink or a sandwich etc, I was told about this place by the lady at the reception of the hotel, and I spent a lot of time here during my weeks stay, for a bit of ‘fine dining’ you could visit the AMMBASADOR rest’ which is around the other side of the beach, this is a top notch restaurant with fine wines and terrific ambiance, and has inside and outside seating right by the waters edge, (great for watching the sun go down), the same people who have the res’ also own the Monte Casa Hotel directly behind the res’, you can read up on both the PONTE and the AMM’ by looking at my reviews on Trip Advisor, just go and have a great time in Petrovac as I did, hope this info is of some help to you

I Googled & it said 45 mins, then I read a review that said 3 hours!!!! After going through every review I can confirm that it is 45 mins PHEW! Its 3 hours if you're coming from Dubrovnik, but 45 from Golubovci. Answered my own question again, hopefully it will prevent other people panicking too.

I'm not sure I'm afraid. I took my own so never asked. It definitely wasn't advertised and they did say not to remove the towels from the room.

Getting around in Petrovac is easy...Hotel Palas is nearer the beach than Wgrand... so less than 10 minutes walk... with the usual downhill to the sea sort of slope. So far as organised trips go I can't really answer.. We explored locally on foot but hired a car for things further afield... Dubrovnik, Bosnia, Albania etc.but there were plenty of coaches on the roads so I guess trips are readily available
