It is the same food everyday in the buffe. One day we went to the ala cart restaurang and the food was good, but when you go back another day the food could be terrible. (im not a pekky whit the food) To cold in the buffé restaurants. They ran out of food in the buffe! To much alcohol in the drinks. I don’t drink alcohol so I order a virgin mojito and got one with alkohol NOT OK!!! The barstaff was unfriendly, but the servent at the restaurants and gardens and cleaner were nice, especially George. Lovely surroundings and beaches. The beds and the room was nice. I have been to GP River Maya and it is soooo much better then this hotel.
Just returned from a 2 week stay with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved this resort, on arrival you walk into a very grand open air reception which is impressive, the rooms are split into buildings, all look very impressive and well spaced out. The rooms are a little dated but that’s not a complaint, dressing gown and slippers are in the wardrobe with a fully stocked mini bar which is filled daily, our building wasn’t too far from the main which was great, but the hotel do put on a shuttle service to help people further away, the pool is brilliant, massive, which meant you never felt crowded, with a pool bar which was fun, I’ve done all inclusive before and you tend to find that the al a carte restaurants are a little bit of a let down but we were floored by most of them, Sumptori (Japanese) was the best, the Soba steak was brilliant, Bhogali (Indian) was wonderful too, excellent food, Xyamacia (Jamaican)was great, the waiter Joesph was super, really funny and helped us make the right choices for Jamaican cuisine, the rest were also tasty, nice Italian, Mexican, Poseidon was pretty special, set out on the beach of the resort, serves fresh fish and has brilliant views, the buffets were top notch, plenty of variety with friendly staff, plenty of bars for people who like to drink, we spent most of our time in Infinity bar and Xtra Time Sports bar which had a great vibe, big shout out to Gregory the Mixologist in Xtra Time who was always a friendly face and kept the drinks flowing, as the resort is so big there’s always something to do, you don’t ever get bored, one great little find was Miss Lou Bar which served cakes and coffee till midnight, we were floored by how friendly all the staff were, even Richard the Gardner was always asking how we were with a smile, lovely man, all in all I would 100% recommended this resort to anyone, Jamaica is a wonderful place and this is the place to stay, an FYI, Dunn’s fall is worth a visit, beautiful place and climbing the river is a great experience …
Neico and Thorne were very energetic, entertaining. Neico was motivating he entire class by ensuring that everyone had the correct form and was having fun while doing so. I enjoyed the class it's my first time doing aerobics in Jamaica, I recommend it to everyone!!!
Jovanne and rolando class was excellent I love the energy and also both instructors had everyone move nonstop we love that they both engage with all ages and we didn’t feel left out anytime during the class .
Neico and Thorne - great aerobics at the beach in the sunshine with really good music! Great instructors, easy to understand the moves, they check that you do it in the right way and correct if necessary. Really happy and chearing! World class! /Nadja, Stockholm - Sweden
