Room was good and clean, check-in was quick and efficient, staff helpful - views from lodge and room is stunning. TV placement in room totally unacceptable as there is no space to walk then and take up space than can be used.

Yes, it is safe and very beautiful. I happily hike the surrounding area by myself. Hiking with our guide Sipho is also wonderful if you are keen on exploring the area.
