The flat's a good size and appeared at first glance to be clean. However, we were a little taken aback by the dozens of small flies (looked a bit like North American blackflies) covering the inside of the windows in the dining area. That's a big downer -- either there's something unhygienic inside, or the climate dictates that they should have screens on the windows. Also, there appeared to be no A/C, which could be a real issue in warm weather. Aside from that, it was comfortable and well priced.

Last minute booking got us here. The owner could not have been more gracious or welcoming. Full of advice and information, great English, and very positive. The room was roomy, clean and well-appointed for two. The mattress was a bit firm, though. Location is close to town center, but far enough away to be quiet.

Walking the rota vicentina, we arrived late afternoon at this small hotel. The owner greeted us very friendly and showed us our little apartment (including a small separated kitchen and very attractive balcony). The kitchen is stocked with the essential stuff and the owner in addition offered us some tea bags, etc. for our convenience.

During daytime, there is currently a construction site outside of the hotel, but in the evening, work ceases and you can sit nicely outside on the balcony.

Restaurants and beach are close to the hotel and the owner offers you plenty of advice in regards to possible activities, etc.

What really made our stay special in this hotel was the following incident: Unfortunately we left some essential belongings behind in the morning when we left the hotel to continue our walk on the rota vicentina. Arriving at our next destination, the owner of the hotel had not only informed our new hotel about our loss, but was also already on his way to our new hotel delivering our belongings. Thanks again for this exceptional service!

The place is in a good location. What disappointed us was that they added a surprise charge of 30€. After many messages and claiming through the platform they finally said that we took a toaster that was never there. Who would go through the trouble of carrying a stupid toaster all the way back in the plane hahahaha. Pity that they are disorganized and there’s very poor communication. Doubt we will get back the amount charged by mistake.

Great place for families, as the apartments has two separate rooms and kichenette inbetween. The owner waited for us in late evening himself, introduced amentities and suggested best itineraries to look around the city next morning. In Apartamentos Atlantico You can feel traditional portugese style of home interior with wooden blinds for every window!!!

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Apart Atlantico. Fernando could not have made us feel more welcome, he kindly put us in the top apartment with a spectacular view over the river and the ocean. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was included and internet worked really well. We did have a problem with the light in the bathroom and Fernando quickly organised to have it fixed. There are plenty of walks from the apartment, markets nearby and many choices for dining out.

The bedroom smelled so moldy that I got a headache and had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. When I told the owner, she was unfriendly and not at all apologetic. Later she submitted a "no show" report to booking.com where I booked the room. By doing that, she prevented me from leaving a review about the moldy bedroom on booking.com. Otherwise, the apartment was spacious with a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom was odd with the sink in the kitchen, just outside the bathroom, instead of in the same room with the toilet and shower.

Just leaving here now. We had the roof terrace which you have to climb three flights of stairs to reach. I would have climbed more to be honest as the roof terrace was a wonderful place to relax. The apartment had everything for a self catering holiday, it was clean and spacious, would definitely come again, hopefully

if you want independence and clean accommodation, handily placed to beach, this may be it! Very basic in kitchen, but good enough if you improvise. Do not try to sleep on pull out divan bed; ask for the portable single bed. Owners very helpful.
