The small hotel is located in the center of Milfontes in a busy square. We were greeted warmly and were able to charge our e-bikes in the living room using sockets.

Transporting the luggage up the spiral staircase to the second floor was very difficult - a task for older people.

The room was small but tastefully furnished. There was everything you need.

A highlight is the roof terrace, which not only invites you to relax with a great view of the town and the landscape, but also lets you enjoy the sunset.

The breakfast is quite good. There are always freshly prepared scrambled eggs.

The hosts were always friendly and helpful.

After covering the first 23 km of the stage from Porto Covo we stayed in this small hotel in the center of Vila Nova. Room on the first floor with internal terrace (no street view), complete with everything and very clean,
Excellent breakfast in the morning, which however is only served from 8.30am. (this may be inconvenient for those traveling the Rota, but the next stage is shorter and therefore starting a little later is also ok).
It is not far from the Mira river where there is also the beach.

Beautiful views from the roof terrace, lovely decor and comfortable room. On a hiking holiday, we stayed in room 12 which was very noisily both from the square and competing music from directly opposite our room. The air on was not working so we weren’t able to shut the window. The noise settled later in the evening.

Stayed here early September as a stop over during a cycling holiday the staff were friendly and courteous. The room was spotless and well furnished. Located in the centre of town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants . Easy access to a beautiful beach which is a couple of minutes walk away. I would recommend.

The rooms are extremely small - luggage can only be opened on the bed! The shower curtain sticks to the body everywhere, but does not stop the water from running out of the shower. There was water running under the bed!
The room went to the street / marketplace it was very noisy.
Breakfast was prime

Lovely room with a private outside space and lots of light and air. A good breakfast and great views from the roof terrace. The hotel is very handily placed for all the sights and restaurants of the town.

We stayed here for four nights while hiking and exploring the Rota Vicentina. I imagine parking is impossible to find, but we arrived via bus. Perfect for our needs. The rooms (we had two) were very clean, the staff helpful and friendly, breakfast fine, not stand out. We never made it up to the rooftop terrace, darn, because the views from there are alleged to be spectacular. We were always too busy. Lots of great places to eat or grab an apero in the afternoon close by.

Great B&B. Stayed here with some friends off the back of the good reviews online. Excellent, friendly service. Recently renovated very clean rooms (albeit a little small - we chose the cheaper rooms though). Central location, (the town is lovely by the way) with wifi and restaurants close by. Good breakfast as well. Would definitely go there again if I was in Portugal again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a small suite that was spacious, modern and chic. The balcony looked over the main street. Breakfast was good.
The owner was really generous--allowed me to use her computer, got up early to make us breakfast so we could catch our bus on a full stomach and then gave us a gift of ground coffee when we complimented her coffee. Really sweet.
This guesthouse is on the main street, so it is very conveniently located for the beach, shops, restaurants, tourist office and bus stop. The street can be noisy at night, so if you like to go to bed early, bring earplugs.
Try the restaurant directly across the street from this place--was fantastic food at moderate prices.

We were visiting this area from New Zealand and would love to have stayed longer than two nights in this lovely guest house and village, but we didn't have the time. We were offered a great low-season rate for either a small or a large double room - we chose the large one (room 17), which cost a tiny bit more, but it was large and had its own patio and good sized bathroom. The breakfast was included and was very good and although the lady who ran the place didn't speak much English, we managed to communicate okay! The location was great, very quiet and close to everything we wanted to see and do. The bed was the most comfortable one we've had on this three week trip so far and we both slept really well. We would definitely stay again. The village is lovely and has some great cafes and restaurants for its size.
