Just outside of Vila Nova de Milfontes, a quiet place with excellent rooms, breakfast and above all, the very welcome owners who are always willing to help.
We stayed on a family room, with one queen and two single beds. The bathroom is big enough for a family and the "living room" area has the biggest TV (65") we have ever seen on an hotel or similar. Everything is brand new and super clean.
The breakfast has everything you could imagine for example on a good 4star hotel, every table, chair and tablet is cleaned after client exits so we were very happy with the Covid safety implementation.
The outside area has a large pool with chairs and space enough for a more than adequate social distance.
To repeat in a near future.

It’s a welcoming and lovely place with a kind, helpful and smiling stuff. The room is clean, new and spacious. On the sight you haya small bar, some washing machines and a swimming pool. We loved it here. The only downside is that it’s not near the beach or the center. But if you come as most of us with a car :) it doesn’t matter. We’ll be back.

The Quinta is located more than two kilometers inland, far away from the breeze and the beaches and restaurants, and on top of that: and just behind a petrol station. The advertise themselves with a lighted swimming pool, which is small, poor and can only be used between 09.00 and 19.30 hours. At the check-in we were told that we could not have breakfast before nine o'clock. We explained that we are long distance walkers and have to leave early in the morning in order to avoid the heat of the midday. On my demand to have at least a cup of coffee or tea before their breakfast times, they told me "This is not an hotel"! On their sign is written HB which means a boarding hotel. They call themselves a Pousada, but are not recognized as such.
At the petrol station just around the corner we bought a cup of coffee for ourselves. Never again I will book this HB; in the future I will check the official Pousada list before booking.

**You need a car to stay here, as it is a little out of Vila Nova de Milfontes - a walk to the town centre is about 15 minutes

We stayed here for 4 nights in mid July and really enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of the place. The rooms were very comfortable and looked brand new. They were kept spotless every day. The grounds of the hotel were kept immaculate, both surrounding the pool area and the gardens closeby.

Hotel includes: A volleyball net, 2 BBQs, 2 hammocks, gazebo area for eating outside, 2 large parking areas, bicycles to cycle to town (free of charge) - great breakfast every morning (breads, yougurts, tea, coffee, toast, pastries, fruit, cereals, ham, cheeses & fruit juices).

The staff/owner was very helpful and friendly from the moment we set foot there, with excellent english.

All in all it was a great little find, perfect for a relaxing break away from your usual package holidays. Looking forward to returning!

We booked to stay here. When we arrived in town, the Tourismo office told us that it is not actually in Vila Nova de Milfontes, but in Alagoaches, about a 25 minute walk from the centre of town. Be aware of this, because the hotel advertises that is in the town and close to the beach. It would be a further 10 minute walk to the beach (from the centre of town) so it is really far from the beach. You need a car to stay here.

We booked in at 15.45 on Saturday 15/4 stayed in the room until 20.45 , we then went and fetch a pizza and returned at 22.45 when to our surprise we found the owner of the Quinta in our room , he said that he went and switch off the aircon, obviously if I left the aircon on its because the room was cold , I don't accept this attitude from the owner I will never go back there again

Yes, you must have your own wheels to stay here but that was OK. You are away from the tourist crowd and into a nice, peaceful little oasis. The hosts are VERY accommodating and helpful. The Mr. speaks good English and French (maybe more languages). Clean as a whistle. We stayed here five nights in May. The hot selections at breakfast could be a little more varied but there is a wide selection of breads, jams, etc.

Room Tip: Number 7 is, I think, the best. At the end of the hallway and has a larger balcony than the others.

눇This property is terrific. The owners Edwardo and his wife operate a lovely clean and relaxing establishment. Pool, grounds and rooms are very good. Breakfast is well above average for this type of price structure. We actually intended on a 1 night stayover on our way up to Lisboa and actually stayed 2. If it wasnt for the need to be in Lisboa by the weekend we would have loved to stay for a couple of more nights. On the edge of town and very quite. Has a slight resort feel without the crowds. Can't recommend highly enough.

My daughter and I spent 3 nights and everything was perfect. The owners were very kind and gracious. Our room was comfortable and we had a nice balcony. Eduardo helped with our suitcases and they were always available to ask questions. We had a car so getting around was not a problem. Breakfast was European style continental with fresh bread and home made jam. Woke up each day to morning doves and sheep bells.
