With the price an absolute price value winner. However, everyone should be aware that it is quite out of date, with some rust in the bathroom. Also indoor pool e.g. require a swimming cape like 40 years ago (sauna was closed due to covid). Service extremely helpful and friendly.

The Duna Parque is an appartement comlex that is well taken care for. It is beautiful located in the first line behind the dunes. The appartements with open fire places can be cosey spaces even on rainy winter days.

Duna Parque Beach Club has been a great location for us!!! It is true that some facilities like the indoor pool are a bit old, but everything else is great. We had a sea-view apppartment and it was great, with amazing terrace, well equipped and spacious for a family of four. The access to the ocean beach is a 4 minutes walk and also the other beaches are easy to reach by walk 15 min or by car 10 minutes. the place in April was very quiet and resting.

I recently stayed at the hotel and was disappointed with my experience. I had booked a villa but ended up with an apartment. When we tried to change rooms at the reception, we were told that the hotel was fully booked.
The facilities were decent, but I noticed that the same room was listed at half the price on Booking.com. The rooms are simple but include a fridge and a small kitchen.
When we checked out, we inquired about a special card offering a discount for our next stay, but we didn't receive anything. This might indicate some issues at the reception.
I would recommend the hotel for its great location, but I advise booking through a third-party site like Booking.com rather than directly through the hotel's website.
The outdoor pool is satisfactory, and you can order food by the pool. The indoor pool requires a swim cap, but the water is warm. The sauna is very small and needs to be requested in advance

In its hey day this place would have been wonderful but it’s a bit tired. Some maintenance was happening whilst we were there - painting of an apartment & indoor pool / jacuzzi were being updated. So they working on it!
Staff was friendly however only saw them at check in. Grounds need more TLC. Pool is nice & big however no poolside service or even a glimpse of any staff. Lawns need mowing etc…lacked any wow factor at all. Bring your own towels
Apartment was large. We were only there for a night so didn’t need the kitchen really except to make tea. Basic kitchen facilities. Coffee machine . Beds were clean , comfortable. Large dining table, and lounge area with Tv. Has large Astro turf area with padel court (paying extra €16 & €1 each for bat). Free ping pong. 🏓 Games room close to pool we discovered as we were about to leave. Old school pinball & arcade game machine. Foosball & air hockey. Beach is a 5 min walk ….not a swimming beach but a really cool shipwreck to see. Can bring dogs & you can bbq if you choose that particular apartment with facility. Supermarket about 5-8 min drive away. Restaurant is apparently down the beach a bit however we didn’t visit.
Would be great to go with a family / friends group with kids.

Absolute nightmare… we left after 5 minutes. Looks nice on pictures but in reality needs maintenance. Looks like not changed in 50 years. Worst thing was the sofa bed for our 16&19 year old kids, was short, hard and narrow. 300€ per night was wasted money. Staff told us 3 times they could not help us. When we suggested another room in nearby guesthouse she arranged this. Was a cheaper room but (at least with a proper bed): but they didn’t refund the difference in price. Never ever go here again!!!

I slept one night at Dune Park on the way to a week of vacation in the Algarve. The choice of the apartment (Hortelã-Pimenta) was not ours, it was he only one available.
Once we arrived at vicinity we find a hawfull smell. like drainpipes, which remains in outdoor spaces.
Regarding the apartment I found it super basic, very disappointing for the 80 euros I paid. The apartment decor is very picturesque, but the room almost looks like a hospital room, The bathroom is cool and tub's water pressure amazing, honestly the best I've seen in hotels;)
The outdoor pool looks bigger than it really is. This hotel is overrated ... and people go with too high expectations. There is no children's pool.
What I liked most about the hotel were the puffs near the pool, which are wonderful! The indoor pool is also nice, has a jacuzzi with a limited timer, we have always to go out and reprogram it... From 18H00 the indoor pool is paid.
It has a tennis court, playground and mini-golf.

We had our wedding in Milfontes and staid in the Duna Parque during the night before and the nights after. Also used the facilities to do our pre-wedding lunch and walked from their spot to the beach. Wonderful people, lovely view and good apartment. In the end, we were very happy that we used the facilities there, as we could move inside when it started to rain. The food they served was fantastic and the friendly staff helped to give us a day we will not forget!

We stayed here for a week with Activities abroad as a family of 6-4 children. These apartments are excellent value-clean and great facilities. the roof terrace on our apartment was lovely. The pool is fantastic. Beds very comfortable and generally very quiet. The beaches over the dunes are a 5 minute walk away. Staff pleasant and helpful. Thoroughly recommend.

Our second visit and can't recommend Duna Parque more highly. We had a lovely apartment overlooking the sand dunes to the sea. Well maintained site and very clean accommodation. Extremely good value for money.
