A lovely hotel in the centre of Argostoli( you have everything in 2 minutes walk). The most amazing view from the balcony and delicious breakfast ( Rosa do excellent work). Beds need to be renovated but they have a very good mattress! I will visit again this great hotel and totally recommended 🥳
I used the hotel business centre yesterday for a work meeting while in Kefalonia on holiday. The facilities were excellent - highspeed internet, pleasant ambience and a quiet, spacious conference room. The hotel staff were really understanding and helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Mirabel Hotel for business purposes.
Me & mum stayed here for a week. Got a fabulous room with large balcony & we could see the sea. Beds were lovely & comfy. Bathroom abit dated & shower was small however it served its purpose. Breakfast nice selection but it was quite annoying having to wait for the people that enjoy a Greek yogurt with toppings.....if you like this you will be in your element as there are loads to choose from but they are positioned in the wrong place. Hotel very clean & rooms are serviced daily, lovely staff. Location is fantastic, on the edge of the Square, an abundance of restaurants to choose from, our favourite was La Gondola...be warned very large starters & Red Dragon Chinese restaurant is a must. We found a lovely traditional Greek restaurant but unfortunately can't remember the name, it was just off the square & it was delish. Did not rate Captains House, awful service. However I would totally recommend this hotel & would definitely return, its 2 mins from the harbour too, added bonus 😀…
We stayed for a week on a Jet2 package holiday and found the hotel very clean and in an ideal location surrounded by restaurants and bars but with very little noise. The breakfast was fabulous. All the staff lovely - special thanks to Rosa in the breakfast room and Julio on reception. Also the housekeeper whose name we did not get but was really helpful and friendly. Agree with previous review re the size of the shower cubicle. It was pretty snug and we are both average sized - anyone much larger than us would not have been able to get into the cubicle. Other than that can thoroughly recommend and would stay again if we return to Kefalonia.
Nice hotel in the centre of Argostoli .The rooms are adequate for a weeks stay on Kefalonia,I have one problem with it,the shower cubicle is on the small side for the more portly guest ( myself )😁.We had a top floor room with balcony, great view over the town and mountains. If you are booking this hotel, ask if you can have a 4th floor room as they have the best outdoor area.Staff at the hotel are most welcoming and very friendly and helpful. I would book again.
I booked this lovely little hotel as part of a package with JET2 holidays. I stayed bed and breakfast for nine nights and found it to be in an excellent location on the edge of a large square that had restaurants galore. It’s a reasonably priced hotel which is run very well by excellent staff. The hotel is clean and very well presented with easy reach of the shore frontage and the main shopping area. As already mentioned all the staff are good but Rosa who looks after the breakfast room works tirelessly to make sure you you have a pleasant experience at breakfast time. I would certainly stay here again.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Love the reception & breakfast area. Rooms are clean but beds are very hard & you can hear an awful lot from corridors & through walls. Breakfast had a huge variety of food and changed various items daily. Location was great though!
We arrived having booked only the night before, for one night in a double room. We checked in and were delighted to discover our 'double room' was in fact a very spacious set of rooms: a double, a twin room, a small separate lounge and a balcony overlooking the harbour. The breakfast was more than we were imagining, catering for all ages and tastes. If we return to Argostoli we would definitely return.
Just returned from a two week stay at this hotel. I was a little worried having read the previous review but my experience couldn't have been more different. Our room was at the rear of the hotel overlooking a nearby restaurant but noise levels and odours were negligible. Our room was comfortable, with a large balcony. Linen was changed almost daily and cleanliness was of a very high standard. Yes, the shower. cubicle is quite compact but no smaller than any others we experienced in Greece Good quality toiletries were provided and replenished daily. Breakfast was taken in the small dining room and was of a good standard. Vanessa ensured guests wore masks and plastic gloves while using the buffet and kept guest under control admirably, and always with a smile! The guys at the front desk were very helpful, in particular Gerasimos, and provided free printing of our vaccination and travel documentation. The hotel is very well located, just off the main square where a nightly promenade of Argostoli's finest takes place amid a lovely bustling atmosphere. Lots of good bars and restaurants nearby and a two minure walk to the harbour. Mimi bar was replenished daily and at 50 cents for a bottle of water represented very good value. I would certainly recommend this hotel.…
People, I totally don't recommend this hotel. It is overrated! Ground floor is renovated, but rooms are old, not so clean and too dark. You could hear your neighbours have a shower. Bathroom door can't be closed and shower cabin is XXS even for skinny people. And I found cockroach. 😕 They gave themselves 3 stars... Terrace is great, but you can't use it in the morning because there was no sun protection and in the evening smell comes from nearby restaurants and they make noise every night. They charged a bottle of water from minibar twice. The only good thing is location.
