I understand that The Rufford Arms are celebrating their 30th anniversary in this month. These days you will only survive in business by providing top class service and excellent food of good quality and value. I have dined here the best part of those 30 years with family and friends for various celebrations and I have never been disappointed. I look forward to visiting again in the near future.

We have just had a great evening at the Rufford Arms and could not believe the “Lockdown Transformation”,some one has been really busy. Not only has the restaurant been completely updated but so have the bedrooms and both to a fabulous standard. The restaurant is light airy and modern with an absolutely stunning new marble bar which along with the rest of the new design looks totally amazing. When we entered our room for a two night stay it was like walking into a big hug. The room was warm and welcoming and again light and airy. A huge smart TV, comfy bed and lovely bathroom and fittings all added to a fabulous weekend retreat. Well situated by the canal to walk off a delicious full English breakfast and and enjoy the surrounding beauty. Will definitely be back soon for more post lockdown luxury without breaking the bank.

We ate here for lunch today for the first time - and it was also our first restaurant meal anywhere together since the first 2020 lockdown, as we have been waiting till we felt happy to do so. Our lunch was lovely - beautifully presented, fresh and tasty, professionally served with a really friendly service - and really good safety measures in place for everyone. We felt safe and looked after. The dining room is lovely and has a welcoming atmosphere, and with a really good menu. The team were attentive and caring. We will certainly be back soon! Thank you.

From start to finish the staff were professional, friendly, smart and conscientious. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We went on a Sunday at 7.00 and it was very busy which is a good sign. The venue was clean and the decor finished to a high standard. Would definitely recommend

Me, my husband and 2 boys had a lovely stay, just stayed for one night in the family room, lovely large fresh room with a decent bath and shower. Beautiful food and service in the restaurant and we also had breakfast. We did have a couple of issues but these were resolved quickly and professionally. Spotless clean and lovely decorated. Thank you x
