Crystal Waters is a modern, clean and functional resort, situated a short walk from the main road. It has been built into a hillside, so some great views are to be had. The staff are friendly and super efficient. Angela on the main reception desk needs a special mention for being superb at her job. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have all the mod cons. An iron and ironing board can be had with a quick call to reception. The housemaids also do a great job. The resort has 3 pools on different levels. One has a swim up bar. Sun loungers are plentiful and we never had a problem gaining access as the pre dawn towel brigade, simply doesn’t exist. The Hotel is Bed and Breakfast, but lunch and dinner can be had at extra cost. Breakfast is plentiful and caters for all tastes. There is the standard tea and coffee machine, but a proper cappuccino/expresso can be had at extra cost and is well worth it. The harbour of Nikiana is a 10 minute stroll with plenty of restaurants, cafes and mini supermarkets. A pharmacy is also close by. We love Greek food and the local eateries didn’t disappoint. Car/scooter hire is also available and we hired a brand new Fiat Panda for 2 days (110€) which allowed us to explore the Island better and visit the bustling Harbour town of Nydri. The Appolon restaurant in Nydri is highly recommended. We also hired a boat from Pipis Boat Hire and had a fantastic day visiting secluded coves and the Island of Meganisi, which is stunning and a superb place to have lunch. Overall we had a fabulous weeks stay and we would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone. I would say however as a word of caution, that if you have mobility issues, the many stairs at the hotel and the small steep hill leading to it, could be a problem for some. We visited Crystal Waters for a week at the beginning of July- family of five (kids ages are 9, 12 and 13). We found the hotel to be as described and felt it met our needs, very well. We stayed in a 2 bedroom presidential suite with private pool which was comfortable. This had three bathrooms which we appreciated and although bedrooms and bathrooms were quite small, they were well appointed and had everything we needed. The small pool was a nice touch and the kids enjoyed this ‘after hours’ for a bit fun. The view from our room was beautiful and very picturesque. We hadn’t appreciated just how nestled into the mountain the hotel is. It’s really stunning to look back up at the hotel. The staff at the hotel were all very pleasant, polite and were on offer to help if you should need it. We had B & B whilst there. The breakfast was fresh and there was enough choice. The outside terrace made for a nice breakfast location. The hotel was very clean and well kept. The room finish was of a high standard. We only really used one pool as we let the children decide where they liked to be the most. The adult only pool looked very relaxing and quiet and the lower, family pool was also pretty relaxing. The pool with the bar was very pleasant. It didn’t really ever feel like it was too full. In fact, the nice thing about the hotel is that the accommodation is well spread out so nowhere felt too busy. I think the hotel misses a trick by not having waiter service to sunbeds. If you order at the bar, they deliver but I felt if there was someone floating around, asking if you wanted food or drink, they probably would have had more orders. This is just my personal thought and based on other hotels I have visited. We enjoyed the small village and marina of Nikiana. It’s about a ten minute stroll to the Marina from the hotel. Very easy to amble down to but it is on an incline so consider that if you prefer somewhere that’s flat. We found Nikiana to have enough places to eat for one week. The food at the restaurants in the marina is good- some perhaps a little more refined than others but they were all very good and extremely well priced. For lunch, we popped to the local bakery which was a two minute walk downhill. There were plenty of places to grab a snack on the Main Street. We would recommend hiring a boat for a day and exploring beautiful coves/ islands. Pip’s boat hire was great for us. We also went to the west coast to go paragliding which was great fun and also gave us a glimpse of the other side of the island. Overall, we had a great time. We loved the slow pace of Nikiana and the peacefulness of the area. One recommendation for the hotel is this: please tell cleaning staff to keep doors and windows closed if air conditioning is blasting out all day. Our A/C seemed to work, even when we removed our key card. After the cleaning staff had been in every day, we came back to find all doors open, presumably to ‘air’ the apartment however, we felt this to be completely unnecessary and a total waste of electricity. It made no sense! Additionally, even though we followed the notes about towels and where to put them if we wanted them to be changed, we found that we had fresh towels every day. This wasn’t necessary for us and didn’t feel it matched the little eco information the hotel had placed in our room on arrival. Thank you to all staff for a lovely stay.…

We went at Crystal Waters in Lefkada this May and our experience wasn't good at all. First of all our room was very very dirty at our arrival there. The courtains smell really really bad, the floor wasn't clean, the kitchen was very dirty and the balcony too. The second think that we didn't like at the hotel was that it hasn't any access to the sea. It had only 2 pools and no beach. Too expensive for these facilities i don't recomended to anyone. Very bad cleaning too.

At our hotel, we take upkeep and cleanliness very seriously, and your room should always feel fresh and clean. Our staff generally does a great job when it comes to maintaining our facility and preparing the rooms for upcoming guests, so it is strange that this happened. Regarding the location of our hotel, we would like to advise you that we clearly state and on our website that the nearest beach is located 200m away from the beach. We do believe that this walking distance is accessible easily to all the guests. In case that this was not convenient for you, we offer sunbeds free of charge and pool towels by the 3 pools of the hotel in order to maximise the comfort and relaxation for our valued guests. Therefore, we have checked all our records and such complaints never reported to any of our departments. Brilliant resort with compassionate and respectful staff who go out their way to make you feel welcome and special, (especially Panos the barman on the pool bar!!). Housekeeping is consistent so your room stays fresh, beds are very comfortable, A/C keeps the rooms cool and the various pools and the pool bar provide a variety of options for relaxing, the food was tasty however like any resort the prices are higher than preferred but that's inevitable. Would thoroughly recommend.

We booked a room with a private pool. The pool was really nice and the room was clean and quite. All staff was amazing!! The breakfast had everything you need. Awesome cocktails at the pool bar - must visit! The hotel is surrounded y trees, plants and herbs which gives a unique feeling and smells fantastic!

Perfect for a few days before a sailing adventure. We have been before and as always there is a warm welcome and great hospitality. The location is good for a mix of local restaurants and a very trendy beach bar. Ideal if you don’t want to be at the hotel all the time.

My experience in Crystal Waters at Leukada island was awful. We stayed there 4 days and nothing work as we imagined it. First of all we wait a lot of hour for our check in. The room wasn't ready and we had to wait 1 hour to get in. When finally get in the cleaning of the room was unacceptable. We found hair under our bed, dirty toilet and a very dirty balcony. When we went for swim the pools had a lot of people and it was very dirty too. The food was good but all the others facilities was terrible. Very bad experience i don't recomented to anyone.

We do respect your opinion but, we have to say we do not seem to agree with the point you raise as the satisfaction of our guests is our main priority and as the majority of our reviews proves we are successful. First of all, we would like to remind you that our check-in time is at 15.00 hrs. Upon arrival we offer you a welcome drink and we start the check-in process immediately. If we have the rooms ready before that time, we are pleased to offer it without additional cost. Additionally, we do a tour to our premises for your convenience within the area and then your rooming. We are very sorry if that took longer time for you, however we do believe that individuality and attention to detail would be appreciated by all our guests. Furthermore, our housekeeping colleagues strive to ensure a spotless cleanliness and we offer maid service daily. We would, thus, say we are rather surprised to read comments about shreds of hair under the bed, dirty toilet and balcony or pools; complaints that have never been reported during your stay with us. We do really appreciate your kind feedback for our restaurants cuisine and we apologize if hotel's facilities were not to your liking.
