Naladhu Private Island personifies luxury, warmth, attention to detail and more. Our holiday in this private but easily accessible resort has left an awe-inspiring experience and beautiful memories that my family will cherish for a very long time. Having been looked after nothing short of royalty throughout the 6 nights we were there, I felt it was the least I could do by writing a detailed feedback about our stay. I hope whoever plans to visit Maldives will find this review extremely useful in choosing Naladhu. It's worth it. To put things in perspective, I travelled to Maldives from London during the February half term holidays. I was accompanied by my wife and two children aged 11 and 4. Weather-wise it is the best time to visit Maldives before the rainy season begins. Travel to Resort – Naladhu had a well air-conditioned and equipped yacht waiting for us to be picked from Male airport. Their service started as soon as we were on the yacht by offering us drinks and cool towels which was extremely refreshing after a long journey. The ride to the resort was about 40 mins from the airport. Those who suffer from motion sickness can be rest assured the trip is short enough to avoid any sickness. Moreover, the crew constantly checked our well-being throughout the ride. Villa and Facilities - We stayed at the Ocean House with Pool and Private Beach Cabana number 7. It comes well equipped with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean, his and hers bathroom, outdoor and indoor showers, and freestanding bathtub. It is worth noting that all the villas have been through a complete makeover last year by a leading interior designer. The new look is very contemporary, spacious, airy and has the most breath-taking panoramic views of the ocean. Nothing comes in the way of views between you and the ocean apart from corals which are visible during low tides. Although the ocean side is not accessible for swimming due to strong waves and corals, my wife and I spent hours during the day taking in the most beautiful views of the ocean especially the majestic sunrises every morning. We even saw some visitors swimming close to the villa like white tipped reed sharks, crabs, and a variety of colourful fish. The private beach cabana is only 5 mins walk from the villa and is equipped with everything you need at the beach like beach towels, drinking water and snorkeling gear. The island also has kayaks which we thoroughly enjoyed using. The island also has a larger public pool and gym with TechnoGym equipment. Staff - Naladhu provides a butler service throughout your stay. The Kuwaanu (butler) takes care of all your needs. We were fortunate to have two Kuwaanus during our stay named Aslam and Sulvaan. My family became so close to them that we really felt sad to leave them. Apart from them, special mention of Shaaz and all staff who made our stay extra special. Dining - We chose full board option so that we could have the option of trying different cuisines during our stay. Wow! were we not disappointed. Naladhu has the 'Living Room' restaurant which has a no-menu concept meaning you can order anything you like. Chef Raj and his team will turn those culinary delights into reality. Chef Raj personally came several times to check on our food and always asked what we liked to have the next day. The quality of food can also be said about the other restaurants available in the sister islands Dhigu and Veli. We had meals at the Aqua Bar (Pub food), Baan Huraa (Thai), Fushi Cafe (Buffet), Origami (Japanese), Sea.Fire.Salt (Grill) and 73 Degrees (Italian). Each of those restaurants had a unique menu that was a delight to our taste buds. I'd recommend booking the Teppanyaki live experience in Origami in advance as it is most sought after. All restaurants cater to vegetarians and vegans. The best part is the chefs were happy to customize non-veg dishes to cater to vegetarian requirements. Cleanliness and Covid Safety - As we live in unprecedented times, cleanliness, hygiene and covid safety were always on our minds. Naladhu’s record is top notch in this regard. All staff wore masks throughout our stay. Rooms were cleaned and disinfected twice a day. Towels were also changed every day. Lagoon - The lagoon is shared with the sister islands Dhigu and Veli. However, it's so large that there is no way you are going to bump into anyone from either island let alone from Naladhu. It almost felt like our own private beach. There are a few coral reefs that can be explored within the lagoon. We were amazed to find a turtle and a variety of fish. Activities - During our stay we booked the Glass Bottom Boat Trip, Shark Snorkeling and Dolphin Sunset Cruise apart from many other activities available. All three were amazing experiences. The Glass bottom boat trip was great for kids so they could see the coral reefs and fish up to 40 feet below. The Shark Snorkeling was a lifetime experience where you swim with Nurse sharks that are the most innocent of its kind. There is far greater risk in humans hurting them rather than the other way around. The Dolphin Sunset Cruise was a surreal experience especially when you get to see Dolphins’ swimming and playing in their natural habitat and of course the gorgeous sunset. Surprise - Having been spoilt throughout the holiday, the Naladhu team had a surprise for us on the last day. Whilst the usual checkout time is 12pm, our flight back to UK was late at night. Rather than checking us out, the Naladhu team moved us to their flagship Two Bedroom Residence which is the most luxurious 600sqm property I have ever seen. We were allowed to use all the facilities in the villa until it was time to leave for the airport. I've added some photos of the stunning property. Sulvaan even gifted us with a photo of our family when we first arrived on the island, special cookies that my kids relished and baggage tags with our names on it. A heart-warming gesture! Travel Representative – Naladhu had a travel representative waiting for us at Male airport navigating us and our luggage through the endless queues. The representative stayed with us until we made it to immigration. As you can see this resort takes care of the finest of details. Overall, this has been the most memorable holiday I’ve ever been. Usually when I go on a holiday, by the end of it, I can't wait to come home. This definitely wasn't like that. Naladhu felt like home away from home and its staff became more like family. We can't wait to visit them again in the not-so-distant future.…

Wow! Naladhu Private Island - not to be missed! A touch of Paradise and a true hidden Oasis nestling in the Indian Ocean. Far from the madding crowd, yet close enough to its sister Anantara resorts to offer a variety of activities and restaurants, so you are never at a loss for things to do. Barefoot luxury in the sand! I have been planning my 50th birthday to the Maldives for 1 year. I chose Naladhu since it was ranked consistently as one of the top resorts by Condé Nast Traveler. This is truly a private island since there are only 20 residences. The view from our ocean villa is breathtaking. The indoor / outdoor areas in the ocean villa are also spacious (over 3,229 square feet). I wanted to give recognition to those that made this trip special. Thank you Shaaz, the resort manager, for personally getting to know us and making sure our stay was pleasant. I would also like to thank our Kuwaanu (butler), Ameen, for going above and beyond with our needs. I do not want to forget, Maishan, with housekeeping, for make up and turn down services for our room. I would like to give applause to Mico, the restaurant manager, at the Living Room for making sure we were always satisfied with our culinary experiences with the no menu concept. We also enjoyed our conversations during anytime breakfast with our servers Thaarib and Doston. The resort has 2 nearby sister properties (Veli and Dhigu) that you can dine at. The holiday started with staff from resort collecting us from arrivals and taking us to their small lounge to await transfer. Then we were whisked away to seafront to be taken by a smart speedboat to the island. Barely 30 minutes later we were landing to a lovely welcome from staff and our butler for the week. Walking around the well manicured grounds, we arrived at our personally labelled ocean front villa. Spotlessly cleaned and with lots of special touches to welcome us. Air con was vital as weather was a constant 28-30° all week. The pool at the villa was a very welcome addition and all the furnishings were tasteful & luxurious. The staff were very welcoming and helpful whenever we needed them. My butler Sulvaan was always on hand if anything needed, or left us alone if that's what we wanted. There is a large bar in the villa if you want alcohol but lots of lovely non alcohol choices available at mealtimes. Prices are in dollars and are not cheap but this is a high end resort. Nearby we popped over to see the local islands and also went snorkeling at Picnic Island. There are a lot of water activities available at a cost but plenty of opportunity to laze at the beach or poolside. There is a private cabana on the beach and no need to get down early to hog the loungers!! Towels are always available wherever you are based so no need to carry wet towels around. The villa has everything you need plus stuff you may not have thought of! An outside shower just sums up the luxury of the resort. Rooms are tieded whilst at breakfast and room turn down in the evening. Food is awesome and you can also order items not on the a la carte menu. Breakfast can be taken at any time- no time barrier. On the last evening they gave us a special table near the sea front. I cannot fully express the enjoyment I had as I'm still feeling a bit overwhelmed over the whole experience. There is less to do on this island than perhaps some others in the Maldives, but the other 2 islands nearby do offer more activities should you want them. …

we were fortunate to return again and nothing disappointed. From the time you arrive and are taken care of by the airport lounge, to the boat transfer and arrival - you are truly spoilt. Naladhu is a naturally beautiful island, the living room with a no menu - all hours operation is stunning and the chef Ahmed has culinary skills second tonne - every meal is perfect no matter what the task you set him. Mico and his team are constantly at your side - with smiles on their faces and serving you these delights. Aslam our kuwaanu cannot do enough to ensure our every need is met...Bubba kept our room beautifully. The ladies in the sp Shoredikka dnd Tyfon offered wonderful massages. Naladhu sits in a cluster of three islands - so you have the unique opportunity to visit the sister islands too for meals, walks or even a bike ride, the fourth island is the snorkel island - another little gem within the cluster. We just returned from a week in Naladhu and wow! What an incredible experience we had! From the moment we set foot on the island, we were blown away by the stunning beauty of the crystal-clear waters, the soft white sand beaches and the quality of our villa with pool on the ocean. But what made this trip truly unforgettable was the exceptional level of service and attention to detail from the entire staff. Sulvaan, our personal butler, made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. He was always there to help us with anything we needed, and even anticipated our needs before we ever knew what we wanted! And don’t even get me started on the no-menu restaurant. It was an incredible adventure in itself, with the chef crafting personalized meals for my spouse and I that blew our minds. The creativity and attention to detail that went into each dish was truly impressive. That experience was also made possible thanks to Mico, the restaurant manager, who encouraged us to challenge the chef every day! This was our first trip to Maldives and we will not explore any other resorts as a more perfect resort and staff could not exist ! From Shaaz and Jinan to Miko and his amazing staff we couldn’t have asked for better service , food or attention to detail. We are already planning our next trip The Living Room is a joy to dine at , the Ocean Houses a haven , if I have one thing to add is that the resort lends it itself to adults only. We have stayed in some amazing hotels and resorts but Naladhu is hands down the best . Congratulations to you all !

I am writing this review while heading to the Male airport from the Naladhu private island where we stayed for 3 nights after our time at the Anantara Dhigu, the sister resort. If you are looking for luxury with privacy and top- notch service and attitude, delicious food made of high quality products, this is a place for you . We stayed at a beach villa which is huge, tastefully decorated and luxury. We enjoyed the most our swing and the big private pool in the villa. Every day we enjoyed our lazy breakfast and dinner at their restaurant, called Living Room, which surprised us with delicious dishes and amazing personnel. Thanks so much to Miko, Faya, Dosten and Thaarib for their attentiveness and great service! Thanks to our beautiful and kind villa host Evgeniia who was available at any time we needed and did all possible to resolve any problems we encountered ( the only issue were small 🦎 entering into our indoor bathroom and spoiling our tranquility in the evenings). And a huge thank to amazing Shaaz , the resort manager, who made so many complementary gestures for us to regain our enjoyment in the island. If I were to return to Maldives, I would come back to Naladhu and would highly recommend it too anyone! It is people that made this island so amazing!!! Thanks thanks and thanks! …
