In the last week of March 2023 My husband, a friend and I visited the island Gulhi in the Maldives and during that week we stayed at Sandy Heaven. After booking we had some questions regarding transfer from Male Airport – all of our mails to Sandy Heaven were replied very quickly and the staff arranged an easy transfer to Gulhi. My husband and I had booked a room with a terrace – it came with a little extra cost, but it was certainly worth the extra price. The room was kept clean and tidy during our stay and drinking water and an electrical kettle and instant coffee was available on the room. Breakfast was included in our price and it was good and plenty Some construction is going on around the hotel, but it was not disturbing to us as we were scuba diving most days during our stay. We had a beautiful and relaxing time here, the atmosphere was great and staff were so polite, helpful and attentive and always ready to give good advice on things to do around the island. The staff had noticed that we were scuba diving so last night before our travel back to Denmark one of the staff had cut out shapes of sharks, rays and scuba divers from leaves and covered our bed with them. He also had painted a (very nice) little picture of two divers which we got to keep and bring with us home – thanks …

I did not expect to receive so much care here. Every day was magical. I owe everything Thaathi. Thanks to him, I got to know the Maldives from the local side. You won't read this anywhere in the guides. If You want to experience an unforgettable holiday, contact with Thaathi. It was my best holiday ever! <3

I highly recommend, Ghoul is a wonderful island with wonderful, nice people, Sandy Heaven will meet all expectations. I strongly recommend tours, a wide choice, all options encouraging and I especially strongly recommend Thaathi, wonderful man, wonderful guide, the best artist, he will make every trip more colorful and provide an unforgettable experience !!!

I went on the tours with the hotel despite not staying there and all I can say is that the staff are so lovely and so friendly. I traveled alone and they always made sure I was ok and if they saw me out they always said hello to me. I really recommend taking part in the boat tours as you see different islands and experience the Maldives in such a beautiful way. They are all local to the island and know it better than any tour guide could a truly amazing experience

We ordered few excursions from Sandy Heaven and it was one of the best thing we had experienced in Maldives. Taati and the others were very friendly, did their best to make us perfect atmosphere, impression. In one trip we saw so many things: sharkes, stingrays (i’m beloved in), dolfhins, turtles and different fishes. It was amazing! I think the program of the excursions that Sandy heaven is offering is the best in the island. It is really worth it to experience! Best wishes! ;)

i didn't stay here, but went on two snorkellikg excursions organized by sandy heaven. taati and the team were friendly and approachable. both trips had small groups (up to 7 guests) the excursion team made sure everybody enjoyed the trips, and we saw everything on the program on my two trips (which is of course not guaranteed with wildlife, but was great). turtles, stingrays and nurse sharks were my highlights.

We went on the full day tour with Sandy Heaven and it was worth every penny! We saw dolphins, swam with sharks, sting rays, a turtle and stopped at a sand bank for lunch. Our guide, Taati was great and passionate about the animals, he captured amazing footage on his go pro and sent this to us which helped create and capture a memorable day.

We are having a beautiful and relaxing time here, the atmosphere is zen and staff are so polite and attentive. The towel art is very throughout. We went on the full day snorkelling excursion. We saw amazing unicorn fish, lots of dolphins, sting rays and swam with friendly sharks. Iron was awesome and he is a talented video shooter, who took excellent footage of our special day. We loved every minute of the day. Thank you Sandy Heaven :), we hope to be back in the future.
