Worst experience in the whole stay in Maldives. No hot water from the first day to the last, no sleep at night, the air conditioning broke down, dirty bathroom and hairy sheets. We were scammed with the snorkeling equipment rental, first they said one thing and then charged another. We were misinformed about public ferry schedules We made the reservation through booking.com, it appeared that you could pay by card at the establishment, far from contacting their guests to indicate that it has an extra cost we were surprised to have to go to another establishment and pay by card with a surcharge of 7 or 10% (we don't remember) of the total price of the room. Horrible, We cant understand that they have such a good evaluation.

I stayed in Gurus Maldives at Gulhi island in August 2021, and it was a stroke of luck to choose this exactly guest-house for my visit. Just 20 minutes from the airport, best location on the island within just a few steps from bikini beach with the most amazing sand, views and home reef, very clean and noise-protected room with all services you may need, absolutely amazing hosts, who are careful to your every wish or request, breakfast on the sea-view terrace... what else do you need for a perfect vacations? I am happy and greatful to find such a piece of paradise on this planet where i feel always welcome) Thank you, guys, for your friendliness, warmth and help, you made my vacation absolutely enjoyable and unforgetable)

Gurus Maldives is a small but very welcoming guest house. Liushia, Nattu and their whole family are wonderful people. Their availability, the warmth and friendliness with which they welcome you makes you feel immediately at home. Excellent cleaning service and attention to the rooms. Very good breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the sea above the structure. Nattu takes care of its guests for everything they need, from beach towels to excursions and transfers from the island. We spent 10 wonderful days

This guest house has the best location on the island right next to the very beautiful bikini beach. We loved that the breakfast was served on a balcony overlooking the beach and sea. Gulhi is a very pleasant and beautiful inhabited island with relaxed feeling and a few good restaurants. The guest house has only 4 rooms which makes it cozy and nice. It is not fancy but comfortable enough. We would definitely choose this guest house again. Best about Gurus Maldives is the staff. Nattu is the ultimate host and he really has a good heart and attitude. Our children miss Nattu a lot. We have to come back one day.

The breakfast, perfect. The room, big and clean The location, unbeatable. But, the BEST in this amazing Guest House is the staff. They are more than kind and very focused in the guests. Feeling at home in the best location Ever!

Gulhi is a very small island and Gurus is the best place to stay. The hotel is 50 ft from beautiful beach. Amey and Liusha our hosts were fantastic and made our stay very memorable. Rooms were very clean, food very good , but best was helpful Amey always being around and Liusha's ever smiling face. We had great diving and snorkelling time during our stay. We are planning to go back very shortly and continue to enjoy our hospitality at Gurus.

Gulhi island is a very small and kidly island. Very nice beaches and very kindly peoples. Gurus apartment is clean and everything OK. Staffs are very kind. Early morning are reserved sunbeds. The breakfast is perfect. EVERY THING PERFECT, THANK YOU! :-)

Great hotel located near the bikini beach. Room was clean and the stuff were warm and kind. breakfast was great. We rented sup via the hotel and had great time in the lovely bay. We will definitely come back to this hotel.

After staying 1 week in Maafushi, we decided to stay 1 week in Gulhi island. The bikini beach in Gulhi is 100 times better than the one in Maafushi. In Maafushi the water was muddy, we could not see our feet and we could see garbage floating. Also there are rocks in the water and because we could not see our feet, we would often step on a rock and get hurt. Gulhi is totally different. The water of the sea is perfectly clean. It's much closer to what we would get in a resort. The sand also is much cleaner than in Maafushi. Concerning Gurus guest house, it is right on the beach. The owners are really friendly. They just wanted to please us. Never tried to scam us. We used their barbecue twice to cook fresh fish and a chicken, and also their kitchen to cook pasta. The room was really big, clean and comfortable. The aircon works perfectly. Breakfast was good and served on the terrace above the beach. We highly recommend this place.…
