We travelled as a party of 6 including a disabled 9 year old boy with wheelchair. We organised a family room (Room 1004) and a twin bed room (room 1052) and could not have been happier. The family room was incredibly spacious with lots of drawers and hangers. There was a sink, cups, bottles of water, a fridge and some delicious macarons on arrival. They had robes, pj's, comfy beds and 2 tvs. The best part though, was the view of Mt Fuji. The view is actually spectacular and worth the extra money to stay there. We had the breakfast buffet each morning, and the buffet is sensational, you can get anything you want there.
The other incredible benefits of staying here is the Onsen, free for guests each day of their stay, the Fujiyama Museum (a series of artworks over time depicting Mt Fuji, which was so interesting), a skywalk on top of the building to get an incredible unobstructed view of Mt Fuji, a little french town dedicated to the animation Gaspard and Lisa and of course Fuji-Q Roller Coaster mecca of Asia. Within Fuji Q is an ice skating rink and, a food court and the best Thomas the Tank Engine themed park there is, perfect for 2-5 year olds.
The hotel also has a number of restaurants, a convenience store, vending machines and a bread/cakes shop. It doesn't have laundry facilities but you can have your laundry taken away and done for you. The restaurants at the hotel range in price, we found the Macaroni club to be quite affordable, the dinner buffet was about 3 times the price, all high quality and fantastic though... The view of Fuji from the breakfast buffet is actually the greatest view from any breakfast buffet in the world ever.

All in all, this hotel was the highlight of our whole trip to japan.

Excellent location as its accessible to all point of interest with a car. Also, you get to access the theme park.

The in room dining was better than expected but you have to pickup the food as they don’t deliver it which seems odd.

Plenty of free parking spaces which was convenient.

Many dining options, cafes and stores are available within the vicinity of the hotel but will require a car. Its advisable to rent a car in Lake Kawaguchi as makes life much easier (if you can).

The onsen was great and relaxing but can get very busy.

View from the Fujiyama Terrace restaurant (where breakfast is served) was awesome!!

Room is small and a little outdated. lacked charging ports and TV was old (not smart TV) so no hopes for Netflix, YouTube, screen mirror, etc. get an HDMI cable if you wish to mirror or stream.

Breakfast is just bad and variety was mostly focused on Japanese/asian food in general. Breakfast was identical every single morning. Also, although our 3yrs old toddler stay and breakfast was included, we were asked on one of the mornings to pay for the child breakfast which wasn’t pleasant but we didn’t pay and got in. (make sure you contact the hotel and let them mention in writing that the child is included for free both for stay and breakfast to use as evidence when checking in).

No espresso machine in the room if you are wondering.

No convenience store within walking distance and you need a car.

In room dining is until 8:30pm and you have to pickup the meal. Very weird!

Restaurants close at 9pm which is also inconvenient.

No means of transport to the hotel from Fuji Q station and you will need to call the hotel to arrange for a shuttle. No taxis, uber, bus or any other means of transport to the hotel. If you don’t have a calling sim card you are out of luck. You could walk through the theme park to the hotel which is 5min but need to pay an admission fee which is ridiculous. Hotel needs to put that in the booking instructions or have some signs to guide guests on what to do. perhaps have the park office do the phone call for pick up. You cannot walk to the hotel if your thinking of as it will take min of 30min from the main road.

Nice view from my room's window even though the weather was not clear enough to spot the Fujisan. The warm atmosphere in the lobby made me feel comfortable upon my arrival. The room itself was fully equipped. The powerful wall-mounted shower and spa machine made my bathing so fun. The large single 5-ft bed was cozy and gave me a goodnight's sleep.

This resort was an unexpected gem on our trip. We ventured to this area to visit the amusement park for our thrill-seeking boys, and chose this hotel due to proximity to park. The website was all in Japanese so we didn’t fully know what to expect. The staff was courteous and helpful, and our Japanese style family room (overlooking mt Fuji - wow!) was wonderful. Staff made up our futon beds in the evening. The adults enjoyed two visits to the traditional style onsen, which is included for hotel guests and connected to the hotel via long air conditioned hallway, what a treat. The Macaroni Grill in the hotel has delicious food at low prices and excellent service. The breakfast buffet is also spectacular, with food offerings to suit everyone - view from the impressive dining hall overlook Mt Fuji on one side and roller coasters on the other. The hotel features direct access via stair to the theme park. Would highly recommend staying at this resort if visiting Mt Fuji area and/or FujiQ Highland amusement park.

And also viewing Fuji mouth from the hotel’s restaurant
Very nice buffet breakfast and dinner in cozy room, of course in Japaneses style dressing up in Yukata.
Enjoyed the onsen hotspring , very big one

They offered buffet style breakfast with a view of mt. Fuji. The hotel was amazing. Highly recommend. 15 min walk to the station and walking distance to the amusement park. The hotel does offer free shuttle pick up and drop off to near by station. Restaurant was about 10 min walk and if you plan to go to churetio pagoda, you can either take the train or a cab that’s about 20 min ride there to save time.

Yes, the last trip was back in 2018 and we are extremely happy to be back again and everything seems the same.

This time, our 4 bedded room is quite a dated room but since its much cheaper compared to the ones we stayed previously, we cant complain much.

Hope to be back again.

Was going to make a day trip to Fuji Q from Tokyo, but found out about this hotel right before so booked 2 nights.

Bus drops you off right outside the lobby. Check in was quick and easy. You can buy discounted Fuji Q tickets there as well.

Room was nice, slightly dated, but met our meets well with good AC too.

Had a Mt Fuji view which was incredible.

The best part about the hotel is early entry into the park. At 8:15 they scan you at the lower level of the hotel, then you head to gates. Hotel guests get in at 8:30, public at 9. The 2 mornings we weee able to ride 2 rides before the crowds hit.

I had breakfast included in my rate - nice buffet spread, but gets busy at peak times.

Hotel is great and staff as awesome. The room was so amazing themed. Stayed in the naruto room. And they outdid themselves with the room. It is one of the craziest and amazing rooms I have ever stayed in. I wish I would have stayed there more then one night. The hotel is right next to fugi Q that’s that’s awesome too.
