Unlike the other reviews written above that had some negative things to say...my 4 stays over 3 months at the Acores hotel in balneário camboriu were excellent. .I do agree that the breakfast several months ago was very weak in comparison to other hotels in the area. .However, I commented about this in a previous review with booking. Com. During my last stay of 8 days at the hotel. A new kitchen manager has been put in place. And the improvement is impressive. .As well..I have been lucky each time to be given a beautiful suite on the top floor. .with a stunning view of the south Atlantic Ocean. . This hotel is centrally located near the shopping. Restaurants. .2 blocks from the ocean. And in a very safe area. This is extremely important because Brazil is a very very dangerous country unfortunately. I live here. Trust me. .beautiful country and people but tons of nasty crimes happening daily. .balneário camboriu is relatively safe. But as always..be vigilant. .The staff at Hotel Açores..excelente. .and you couldn't ask for a better location. .. William…
