On the Florentine hillside just a few kilometers away from the historical center and from the heart of the Chianti Classico hills, Poggio Baronti bed and breakfast is the ideal place for those seeking calm and serenity in the splendid Tuscan countryside. Poggio Baronti is the product of entwined histories, families and region, whose foundations date to an ancient villa belonging to the Della Robbia family, famous for their glazed terracotta works. The noted Florentine sculptor Simone di Marco della Robbia, father of Luca, lived here in 1427. The "Poggio Baronti" Bed and Breakfast offers its guests a high quality welcome at the reception as they arrive, thanks to the magnificent country setting but above all to the care and attention with which every detail has been arranged.

We booked this B&B for just one night. The moment we arrived, the moment we wished we could stay longer - the jacuzzi experience in the park surrounded by olive trees, green hills and peaceful silence was unforgettable. The room was spotlessly clean and you could feel the

What can we add to all these great reviews, which were the reason we chose Poggio Baronti? Only this: Tommasa (Thomas) was an amazing host who made our stay at this B&B (and Italy) a wonderful and culturally enriching experience! We enjoyed his attention to meeting our needs

We highly recommend Poggio Baronti. The area is easy to get to via taxi as they use gps. The rooms were very nice very clean and I fell in love with the waterfall shower. There also was one American outlet and we just took turns charging our devices otherwise bring a converter.

Gluten free bread and muffins are available if they are informed before arrival. Taxis are always available at the airport, and will take you directly to the B & B. If Thomas is aware of your late arrival, he will wait up for you to welcome you into the home and assure everthing is okay. Thomas, his mom and a neighbor drove me into Florence on three separate occassions and even took me to the famous overlook hill where you can see all of Florence. They receive lots of emails, so the best way to contact them is by phone, except be mindful of the time zone difference. I called once and Thomas answered, but he politely told me that it was 4 AM in Florence!
