We have spent one night in this hotel and as frequent traveler this is great hotel. Rooms are nice, comfortable and stylish. Very rich breakfast with one of the best eggs I have ever had in hotel. I would give 5 stars but to me receptionist should show way more positive approach to welcome guests and what I didn't get at all is that as both of us ordered soup and main dish and we had every single food in different time... why? The food was good, but this should not happened in 4 star hotel. Anyway, if you can get over these little issues highly recommended hotel. Cheers

Highly recommended. Recently refurbished hotel, very well decorated and to a high standard. Bedrooms comfortable. good Polish food. Breakfast selection very food. Staff very friendly, English spoken. Great experience, worth a try.

You cannot find any better place to stay in Ladek Zdroj and Kotlina Klodzka than Hotel Alhambra We were welcomed by wonderfull young staff very curious ,professional ,smiling at any entrance to hotel with care and interest in our staying . The luxury rooms ,halls ,nicely decorated .clean and fresh . thankyou for making our vacation so beautifull ,thankyou for making this place a real home . elegant dinning with delicious breakfast full of choices of breads ,butter ,fruits ,cold cuts ,eggs ,juices ,coffeee cheeses cakes etc you are not able to try all . The hotel has perfect location. Right in the centre of the resort town, quiet at night and very close to park, shops, restaurant. Around 15 minute walk from the old town square. The hotel building is very beautiful itself. The walls are thick and we never heard any noise from other rooms. The rooms are very nice, the size is OK for this kind of hotels. The bathroom is just perfect, ideal hotel bathroom, large and modern shower cabin, sink and amenities. The bedding could be better though. Pillows are cheap and feel artificial. I did sweat the whole night bit not only because of it. Breakfast is good but not perfect. There is adequate choice but comparing it to other 4star hotels in Poland there is still room for improvement (add fish and different kinds of salads). We did though enjoy the music at breakfast. Great idea. The staff is generally very nice and helpful. They made us feel like at home. But... There was a huge problem that affected our stay and shortened it to two days only - inoperative air conditioning system which had its scheduled maintenance. That would have been acceptable but not in the middle of the summer season with temperatures well above 25 degrees. We were not informed about it and the receptionists were not either. The room was unacceptable hot and air was heavy. There was no fan provided (I requested it many times). We could not sleep at night even with fully open windows. Well... these things can happen everywhere but we were not offered any help with that: no fan, no 'we will move you to a colder room' not even any financial compensation for the uncomfortable stay like free dinner or something. It is surprising for a 4 star hotel willing to be the best in town. The hotel restaurant is good. Very good I would say with great potential. There was only one problem - I got undercooked fish. The trout was simply raw in some parts. Again - in a western 4 star hotel as an apology you are gifted a free drink as a minimum and the dish is cooked again for you. Here they simply took the fish and cooked the same piece for some more time. Shameful and weird. All in all if not for the problem with aircond and how it was (not) solved and not the raw fish incident I would have given 5 stars and stayed there longer. All the rest was perfect - but the management must still learn that the customer and their needs are always the priority. They should go to a shop and buy at least a fan if the room is hot, move rooms and give out a free drink/dinner to say sorry. If they fail with a meal - they should cook a new one, not take that plate to the kitchen and place in an oven for some time. I may still give them a chance if I am next time in Lądek Zdrój. …

The food is very good and satisfying one's hunger. The breakfasts are incredible - rich choice, fresh products, good coffee. The restaurant personnel is very helpful, smiling and professional. The interior design is original and cosy. (It lets the guest forget about the ugly buildings outside.) The only problem: the offer on their website (and the one you pay for) is not the actual package offered by the hotel - many services are simply missing, you don't have access to all the places promised, you are not informed about anything without asking.

I spent a really nice weekend in Alhambra in Ladek Zdroj. The place is very cosy, nice decorated and furnished with good taste of style. I really loved the bathroom with very original tiles. Staff is helpful and English speaking. They resolved our requests very fast and in friendly way. As I'm foodie I really enjoyed the food from hotel's restaurant - Alchemia. I have to admit that veal cheeks I tried were awesome :) Keep going like that Alhambra!
