A very good value hotel if you want no frills. Good points: Easy to book Good value for money Great location for city centre Rooms are clean Not so good; Kerb appeal is appalling, rubbish strewn all over the car park and around the front doors, gardens full of rubbish and dead plants, staff stood around the doors smoking while you’re waiting to check in. Noisy at night due to old windows. The whole place is just generally very tired.

Hotel bathroom and bedroom was dirty, stains on the walls. We was put in the wrong room, as we checked out we was told we got put in a room that hadn’t been cleaned properly. I woke up with rashes. Id rather pay more and stay somewhere else.

After an absolute shambles by Norwich Central we where transfered to here , basic but comfortable, a lovely lady trixie helped us so much , she was very friendly and made us very welcome, 10/10 for customer service

Nice quiet little hotel room we stayed in was very spacious and cleaned to a very high standard. The WiFi was a little tricky to set up on my ipad but the receptionist Matthew on duty at the time was very helpful in helping me connect my device to the Internet so apart from that little hiccup was a all in very nice stay. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking to stay here.

Entering the hotel, there was a group of men smoking and drinking at the enterance of the hotel which was a bad look for the travelodge brand. The smoke smell carried into the small reception - not nice for the staff or guests. Receptionists were welcoming, friendly and changed our room further from the entrance. The corridors smelled clearly of cannabis and smoke - why have a non smoking police but do not enforce it? The three receptionists were all ladies, all other guests I met were contractors. No male security, so I can understand why this matter was not addressed by the staff. The room is as expected, with the no-frills but basic needs. Usually comfortable beds but this one made our back ache so much that we decided not to stay the next pre-booked night. Travelodge have gone so downhill. In this day and age I would expect a socket next to the bed and free wifi - we are one of the few countries that do not supply internet in hotels - in fact, I have a suspision that they also have means to block your own phone/data signal!! A hairdryer and a fan in the room would be helpful. …

I arrived there after a long journey, it is not easy to see where is the hotel at night esp when you take a bus, and there is no one to ask where is it. I was out of phone charge, heavy baggage and long train trip Receptionists were amazing , and amazingly helpful Tracy was amazing as I needed to print my exam admission sheet , she was cheerful for a distressed guy like me, she was great. Also the gentleman who had the early night shift on 24th I needed to ask for several things all he was able to help Room was nice as usual,late check out is great option

Rooms stank of smoke, and the noise most of the night meant we couldn’t sleep much if at all - poor service £175 spent for one night - Premier Inn every time now Staff were smoking in the building as well

I recommend this hotel to stay in Norwich or Norfolk area. Easy to find the hotel from London, Ipswich, Peterborough or somewhere. The entrance to find the roundabout is A11 and A47 following the next to Petrol station. The staff are good hosts, they were helpful and kind.

Hotel wasn't clean, well presented and had an odd odour. The room was tired, and basic (bed was comfortable though). Breakfast option is a packed lunch and not suited to our needs. The only choice off site is fast food outlets and a fuel station. This is a no frills 'motel' style location, so don't expect much...

Unfortunately we had no hot water. Engineer turned up and turned water off 8:55 in the morning. Not the staff fault, but down to management. Still did not have any hot water after the second night stay.
