We had a fantastic week here! What a great hotel! Fabulous Food - always a good variety provided on the buffet and the daily BBQ is really yummy too! The a la carte restaurant is delicious - the menu choice is excellent and the presentation is 5 star. Friendliest Staff - honestly nothing is too much trouble, everyone is happy to chat and you are always greeted with a smile. What an absolute credit you all are to the hotel! Fantastic Entertainment - both throughout the day and evening. We had lots of fun! Well done Team! 10 out of 10! And finally..... there are PLENTY OF SUN LOUNGERS scattered around - was so nice to not have the early rush to reserve. All we can say is you can definitely see why people return here... ! Reading the reviews should provide all the reassurance you need.. so get booking! To all the Atlantica Sea Breeze Staff - Thank you for our experience

Brilliant hotel and staff, Will and Maureen are brilliant and create an amazing vibe around the pool. Our stay was so good we have booked to return. Spotlessly clean, amazing food selection and an all round chilled out vibe. Perfect place for a week of relaxation

We cannot fault this hotel. What a fabulous stay. Arrived 11.15 pm and check in was smooth and we had a drink from the bar .. little niggle with the room but we changed the next day and Pablo helped us to make it easier. All staff in the hotel were friendly and very helpful. Loved the food, it was nicely cooked and presented well.. pool area lovely and for the first time in 30 years of travelling there were sunbeds for everyone. For every 2 beds there was a parasol too. The guys serving by the pool / garden area were great and happy to chat to you..the hotel was very clean and tidy..housekeeping good in the room…entertainment was mixed but good, but the Greek night did go on a bit with the “ balancing of glasses and bottle on the head “ this caused a repetitive tune being played until it finished. Blues brothers and Carly were fabulous..as was the rock chick! Fun time with the silent disco too…The hotel is out of the way but only a 15 minute bus ride to Protaras.. There is no beach directly in front of the hotel but there is a small bay at the side..you can pay to have a sunbed and / or a parasol..We found the guests very friendly with quite a few English and Swedish there. Overall a good holiday..would I recommend….Yes…would we return ? …yes but we like to travel to different places and hotels..

All my previous reviews on Trip Advisor tend to be quite lengthy and detailed but this simply isn’t needed in Atlantica Sea Breeze hotel’s case as they have it spot on. Yes, the hotel is fairly remote, but we had done our research so knew this (why don’t people do this is beyond me) and the area around the hotel is great with a lovely cove just meters away. We went to the sports bar across the road a couple of times and the bar by the cove and were made to feel very welcome at both. The staff are amazing and make this hotel by far. From the pool staff, restaurant staff and evening bar staff there was never an issue. Constantly keeping you topped up with a smile on their face and conversation to make you feel welcome. The pool/garden area was superb, and it was so nice that there were plenty of well-spaced sunbeds for everyone – more hotels should take notice of this as it makes the stay so much more relaxed. The food in the main restaurant was excellent with a vast choice, it definitely seemed very geared up for brits with the choices, especially at breakfast but overall, we really enjoyed the meals. The dining area itself was very spacious and didn’t feel like a canteen experience. We loved the BBQ by the pool area each lunchtime. Each day there was a different choice ie burgers, hotdogs, wraps, kebabs and the chips were amazing. It was nice to just have this whilst chilling on the lounger or bar area rather than visit the main restaurant. The evening entertainment wasn’t always for us but find this at most hotels and at least there was something going on every night if you wanted it. There were a couple of really good acts and the silent disco seemed to get everyone up and was a laugh. There were plenty of daytime activities if you wanted to join in and the entertainment team were very friendly and always about chatting. We got the bus one day to Protaras from the bus stop right outside the hotel. This was 1.5 euros each way and about 15 mins ride. It was nice to have a wander round and there are many bars/restaurants on the strip. So - our only main issue in this hotel was the beer. This may seem trivial to most people, but all of our group are beer drinkers and even with the choice of beer they had, they were all completely flat, which got really frustrating in the end. We had other drinks which all seemed ok, even the white wine but when just wanting a nice simple beer we felt this was very disappointing and would be a game changer in us returning to this hotel if this wasn’t improved. This review did end up being quite lengthy in the end but once I got going it was nice to remember all the fab points of this hotel and our holiday and things that may be of use to potential visitors. The number of repeat visitors that seem to visit here speaks volumes on how this hotel get it right in so many ways.

This was our first visit to this hotel which was pleasant but would probably rate it as 3 star not 4. A lot of the guests seemed to be regulars who return year after year. Location - fairly remote, a couple of shops and a bar outside the hotel. Lovely cove next to the hotel. Room - clean and cleaned daily but could do with updating. Shower over bath but bath very small. Food - very good, lots of choice. Entertainment - a bit hit and miss, silent disco was good fun. Drinks - unfortunately the drinks let the hotel down, they seemed to be the cheapest that money could buy. Beer and sparkling wine often flat and the spirits left a lot to be desired!

We stayed here for 11 night's and we can't say a bad word about this hotel It's spotlessly clean, all the staff are helpful and so friendly, made us feel like family and there were clearly people here that had been several times, which is always a good indication. I have many food intolerances and if I was struggling to find anything to eat the chef cooked me whatever I wanted, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.we renewed our wedding vows here on our 10th Anniversary and Eva and Aliki made the whole ceremony just perfect.we cannot thank them enough for making it so very special. Two very special ladies, thank you.we'd also like to say thank you to Will and Maureen at the pool bar for keeping us topped up with drinks and talking horses, always nice to meet fellow horse parents! So for the not so great reviews on here. Yes the hotel over looks apartment blocks that aren't the best kept and the other side is an empty plot of land and a car park. We just upgraded to a Seaview room at the back of the hotel, much nicer.yes there is water aerobics and volleyball in the pool and darts and games at the side of the pool bar. They could be a bit loud and annoying at times but we just moved to sunbeds a bit further away.if you don't like it don't sit so close! On the issue of sunbeds there were plenty, no one got up early, and at 10am or later there were always beds available and that's a huge bonus in our books, who wants to get up at stupid o'clock for a sunbed, after all you're on holiday! None of that here.we had a fantastic holiday and we will go back, and we don't usually go back twice! The only thing that did bother us was if you were a non smoker and wanted to sit away from anyone smoking outside at the restaurant, the designated tables were positioned round the side, out of the way, rather than over looking the pool, a much nicer view.Surely it should be the other way around, and the smoking area should be out of the way. That was just minor thing. If you're thinking of going here, do it, we loved it

Location - nothing around locally other than a sports bar (that didn't serve food) or 2 really basic super markets. However the transport links were great and right outside the hotel. An amazing beach cove right next to the hotel grounds, perfect for a dip. Entertainment - always singers. And not very good ones at that. A bit of variety would have been nice (comedian, bingo, magician) Drinks - awful cheap stuff. Made you feel a bit sick after 2-3. Food - a fantastic daily breakfast spread. Although fresh juice would have been nice instead of squash from a machine. The BBQ was just wraps, not what i would class as a BBQ. But it have the best chips. Dinner was a bit hit and miss. There weren't many meat or fish free options (pasta sauce was often fish based). And the meat was mainly pork. Would have been amazing if the pool bar did ice lollies as the only choice was ice cream from the restaurant. Rooms - always clean and fresh. Although would have been good to have access to a blanket as the air con could get chilly. The maid gave fresh towels daily which was a bit of an over kill as it wasn't necessary. The bathrooms need to be kitted out with walk in showers. The baths are dangerous for those who have mobility issues. Pool - absolutely freezing! The sea was always warmer. So didn't venture in after the 1st day. Plus there seemed to be nonstop pool games that took over the entire space. Not ideal when someone isn't a confident swimmer and have all that splashing around you. Staff - all amazing and friendly. They couldn't do enough for you. And the drinks staff around the sun loungers never stopped! A lovely relaxing holiday. Would i go back? Maybe but only if some of the above changes were made.

This is our second visit to the Sea Breeze, and once again we've had a great holiday. The hotel is in a good position, quiet area but easy to get around on the local buses. We had a room on the 3rd floor with a side sea view. Ok the bathroom could do with a bit of updating but it is all clean with a shower over the bath which worked fine. The air-conditioning was really good as although it's October the weather is hot. What really makes this hotel are the staff. Everyone is so hardworking and friendly. We sat outside on the grass area and never wanted for anything. A special big thanks to Maureen and Will for keeping us topped up with drinks all day, such a lovely couple. Also Jordan and Caleb and the boys behind the bar. There are so many staff sorry I can't name you all. But a big thank you to you all. Got to go home to diet as we've eaten so much great food Thanks again Sea Breeze we hope to return next year.

I would say this hotel is no more than a 3*. The showers are over the bath, rooms are very dated, we originally were in a room over the bin storage which was really noisy, we moved room but now have two single mattress on a double bed pushed together. Location is terrible - we booked through first choice and expected to be near to shops etc - there’s a bar and a couple of small supermarket shops outside. You can get the bus to and from Protaras but it’s not walkable. Sunbeds on the beach have to be paid for. Staff are excellent and always happy to help out. We travel a lot and I never feel the need to write reviews but I think alot of the 5* reviews on here are from the regular crowd that all seem to come a lot. We are 37/38 and expected there to be a mix of ages but it’s definitely aimed at the more senior holiday makers. We would return. The holiday wasn’t worth the cost we paid

Response from Panayiotis Panayiotou, General Manager at Atlantica Sea Breeze Hotel
Responded 7 Dec 2023
Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your experience in staying in our hotel. We have a vast variety of holidaymakers in our hotel throughout the season. The hotel is not into the centre of Protaras and it suits the concept of the hotel perfectly, which is for guests that wish to have a quiet and pleasant stay. I strongly believe that our hotel is more than a 4* star hotel, in comparison to the services, facilities and accommodation that we offer in comparison with the vast majority of other 4* hotels. Best regards from Protaras

We had a good time , 1st time staying here. We had a superior sea view room on the 3rd floor and was a bit disappointed as the room was really dated . Shower over the bath and a struggle getting in and out. Have stayed in many hotels in Cyprus and for the cost of this holiday, expected much better . Wall painted a horrible green colour and the balcony wall was tired and stained. The cleaning staff work hard, but dropped a few things on the floor and reached under the bed to get it which was really quite dirty . Lovely view of the pool and the sea though - which was lovely as we like we like to sit out in the morning g with a coffee and again at night with a glass of wine . The drinks really need improving. The spirits were really cheap and tasted of chemicals . Coffee always out of a machine and nothing fresh , would have been great to have proper coffee and not worth queuing up at breakfast time for . The juices in the morning are also out of a machine and not fresh juice - again for how much this holiday cost, just expected a little more. Was evident that this hotel is aiming at profit and cost cutting - like coke and larger tested watered down. The wine and the Prosecco quite nice . The food though was lovely, Couldn’t fault it , the chefs did a great job and food was beautiful . BBQ in the pool and garden area was delicious, always lovely wraps and burgers. Slept really well, the bed was always comfy and also the Sunbeds were comfy too . Will and Maureen try hard with drinks, but was never asked by them if I wanted a drink though- they tend to serve the regulars who go there every single year, so sometimes it felt quite a clique . The music on at the pool bar all day was the same music repeated and got really annoying by day 5 of our stay. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. If you need to go anywhere you have to catch a bus, the holiday is advertised as in protarus, but it is a long way from there. The beach has a lovely little cove though and the views are beautiful. Evening entertainment always a singer, would have been good to have some other acts on . We only went to the entertainment one night and got really bored, so we spent the remainder of the week watching Netflix on the balcony. The TVs in the rooms only have foreign channels, so didn’t use it. Overall, was an okay holiday. Stayed at Atlantica sungarden beach and the blue Ivy before and this holiday was a lot more expensive at the sea breeze, but the standard wasn’t as high . The staff are friendly , but wouldn’t holiday there again. A little too cliquey and outdated for us . Ps - the rooms with the hot tubs are mainly downstairs on bottom floor overlooked by the rest of the hotel above- some guests we spoke too saw all sorts of goings on in those hot tubs - not for the faint of heart🤣. Glad we didn’t pick the whirl pool rooms as thought about it, but preferred a sea view.
