Fantastic last minute stay at AT herbal. This really is the jewel in the crown of Protaras / Pernera.
You're immediately greated by the most fabulous chandeliers, an inviting smell and lovely reception staff.

The rooms are by far larger than any I have stayed in before. The terraces are a haven and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon nap.
Rain showers in the bathroom and crisp high thread count linens are the pinnacle of the rooms, which were spotless in every way.

Breakfast is a feast fit for a queen with every aspect given attention to detail. Bean to cup coffee and many unexpected extras.
Having worked on international cruise ships I would say I'm well experienced and hard to please.

AT Herbal didn't disappoint. The owner even taking the time to chat was a highlight of my stay.

Thank you for a wonderful 1 night stay in the Pernera Palace as we will now call your amazing hotel.

We spent an uforgettable week at this hotel and couldnt be more satisfied. The hotel is an ideal choice for those who do not want to spend their holiday in crowded resorts, but looking for something more relaxed and intimate.
Starting with the rooms - they are sooo beautiful and stylish, we got an upgraded, more spacious one that made our stay even more comfortable. They were cleaned every day, towels were changed on demand, only when thrown on the floor. But not only the rooms, also the common spaces like pool area or toilets were kept tidy and clean.
The food was a pleasant surprise for us, luckily the restaurant focuses on quality, not on the quantity. Great fresh salads, meats and desserts. During our stay we had a few "international" dinner nights (e.g.: asian, mexican) and I have to admit that all meals, even sushi were excellent. The drinks from the all inclusive formula were also okay (especially mojito:). The only thing I missed was the possibility of refill potable water by ourselves, we got half liter bottles at the bar or in hotel restaurant.
The hotel has not his own beach, the closest one is around 4 min walk away. Probably it is not the most beautiful beach of Cyprus, but still very nice :) Shallow water suitable for children. During our stay the beach was well maintained and cca till 11 am we could always find at least 2 free sunbends.
And last but not least, a big thanks to the hardworking, but even though always polite and smiling staff.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay and loved this hotel. It is perfectly located, just a 10 minute walk from the main resort of Protaras, which you can stroll to along the sea-front board walk. It has a great vibe around the pool and we had the most beautiful room with the best balcony we have ever had, overlooking the sea. But what really makes this hotel is the staff who make you feel so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. A big shout out to them all but in particular, Chris around the pool, George, the restaurant Manager and Lidiya and Totis. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday and making it so special

Nice and clean hotel but with lack in organisation. No parking space, poor breakfast buffet for a four star hotel.Poor bar snacks in quantity and quality.  Small swimming pool with limited beds. Guests put their towels on the beds the night before to reserve the beds and the rest of the guests are dissatisfied. No service by the pool area. Not a single bin in the pool area. No covid measures at all.

After arriving at the property, The man on reception immediately ensured we knew we were not welcome at this hotel.
We are a young British couple and our exact greeting was with a look of disgust - you are the only British couple here. We did not expect you to turn up.

We joked it off as we were on holiday. However After the comments were made - our £800 for 5 nights payment was due.
We tried to pay with one bank card, declined, a second was also declined, we then used a credit for the third attempt and for the fourth we used a business account!! All declined.

We called the bank immediately who advised us there was nothing blocking the cards or accounts on holiday.

The man did let us go to our room and sleep that evening as we arrived extremely late in the evening.

On waking up our first movement was back downstairs to pay our hotel stay.

Greeted with what I can only describe as the worlds worst most stern faced rude individual I have ever come across.

I then attempted to use a further 3 cards and for separate occasions and once again, to their convenience neither of these cards worked.

I was then advised that this ‘high class hotel’ only had one card machine and then ordered to March to the bank and withdraw the £800 (£400 over the daily limit) and pay with cash immediately as I and I quote obviously have no money!!!!!! No money she said!!!!!!!!
I was then told everyone else in the hotel is Russian and they can pay.

With this abrupt tone I realised that myself and partner were not welcome here at all.

I made the decision to pay for one night at the property which they charged me £200 for which for 5 nights at £800 should have been £160. (So over charged for the pleasure of 8 hours in the room.
And leave the stay.

We had no other alternative other than nice hotel.
At such short notice all other hotels in the area were fully booked.
We had to get in a taxi and travel miles to the next hotel who were absolutely great with us.

This is by far the worst experience of my life and my partners who has worked for a major holiday firm for a number of years. (Will stick to package holidays with them in the future)

Please do not stay here. You will feel uncomfortable, worries and scared for the total duration!

Very disappointing hotel! Slow service, staff was all foreigners and they did not speak at all good English, there was not even one Cypriot waitress and we are in a hotel in Cyprus where first language is Greek! This is not acceptable ! We needed 10 mins to communicate with a waitresses or even at the reception! No friendly a warm welcome and not organized hotel. Room was big but toilet was small with the door opening iniside the toilet room making difficult the entrance to it. No privacy at the balcony since the all the rooms are exactly next to you and you have the balcony of the other in your face . The room was not very clean also.

Nothing special the breakfast, no Covid measures at all at the buffet! Also, waitress were not wearing mask!! The tables were not clean, I asked a waitress to clean a table, she came with a dirty sponge and she put back at the table the same used first table mats!!! Oh my God! We asked for a freddo espresso and they brought us frappe insisting that it was freddo espresso! They charged us and they did not mentioned earlier that we should pay for this!

Swimming pool is very very small and full of kids jumping . No waitress by the swimming pool. Not enough sun-beds for this kind of hotel. No service for sunbeds and people leave their towels from the night on to reserve the spot!

Also the parrot in the cage is very sad! Parrot should be free in his nature not in zoo or hotel or whatever!!!! If they care about the parrot they bring it back to his nature!

Very average hotel with a very bad service!
This should not be rated as a 4 star hotel at all!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the design, which is unusual for this region. Everything is new and clean. Breakfast is very rich, as for 5 stars - in addition to the usual eggs of all kinds and bacon and sausages, there are pancakes, casseroles, and cheesecakes for breakfast. Vegetables, fruits, nuts, and cheese with mold. Orange fresh is unlimited. In addition to the outdoor pool, the hotel has an indoor pool of about 14m with a jacuzzi, they promise that it will be warm in winter. Saunas and spa treatments for an extra fee. To the sandy beach with sun beds and umbrellas for a small fee - 4 minutes walking distance. There are many cafes and restaurants on the coast. The coast is generally rocky with a descent into the sea by stairs. The beaches are filled with sand, and the entrance to the sea is good.

From the moment we arrived at AT Herbal I was in love!! The decor is gorgeous, the lobby smells amazing, everything is so clean and immaculate!!

We were travelling as a family of four, my two sons are 9 and 7. Our room was huge with a gorgeous terrace overlooking the pool and the sea! The beds were probably the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve stayed in! All of the touches from the thick soft towels and robes and slippers and plenty of complimentary toiletries were great, not to mention the complimentary chocolates my sons especially loved receiving each evening!!

The buffet breakfast was divine, so much choice and a gorgeous outdoor terrace to sit at, one of the daily highlights for us!

The addition of the indoor pool and steam room and sauna were fabulous to unwind in and being able to change beach towels throughout the day was great.

The hotel is a short walk from some lovely restaurants and beautiful beaches and the views and relaxing music round the pool was also perfect. There was a small child’s play room right off the pool so perfect for adults that wanted to sunbathe while their little ones played. Even my two who were a bit older enjoyed some time out of the sun playing with the Lego.

Every member of staff we dealt with was incredibly helpful and friendly and I was honestly upset to be leaving such a wonderful place! We will be back!!!

Hotel is very pretty and the furnishings are very modern. The welcome from reception was amazing and we were given a welcome drink.
However, the pool bar staff are very very unfriendly. They appear to be deliberately unhelpful. They take orders and then answer the phone or walk away when they can see you patiently waiting. I have never experienced such rudeness before. We ordered a pool snack, which is supposed to be delivered to your lounger. The waitress actually looked at us then proceeded to walk past us with our food and took it back to the bar for us to collect! When we went to collect the food she walked away leaving us to be served by someone else, hideous!
The food choices are limited in the restaurant. The evening drinks are served either poolside or in the tiny lobby with only 1 bar man. So rather than tolerate the staff attitudes and lengthy waiting times we are going out every evening despite paying for all inclusive. A taxi to Protaras central is €10 each way and the service is 100% better there. If you plan to stay in and use your ‘all inclusive’ I wouldn’t recommend staying here!

A week ago I was in Cyprus at At Herbal Hotel.
The time spent in this place cannot be described in words.
The biggest thanks go to the management and service.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with a glass of champagne, waiting for friendly service on a comfortable sofa accompanied by live music on the piano. Even though we arrived before the check-in time, the room was ready.
Many people working at the reception speak and understand Polish. Very nice Mr. Robert offered us champagne and helped us take our suitcases to the room.
A huge thank you to George who made me feel great throughout my stay and made my twenty-first birthday last a whole week!!!
The management took care of the smallest detail and the highest level of service.
The whole thing was topped off with a nice, family atmosphere and great care. This cannot be forgotten!
The dishes prepared in the restaurant were very tasty and fresh. A huge thank you to Totti here. The restaurant looked like an artistic performance. You can see the heart's contribution by the aesthetic arrangement of the dishes, which increased the appetite. I really liked the thematic dinners. If someone loves Greek and Turkish cuisine, they will find it great here.
Denis and Chris took care of the guests in the swimming pool area, entertaining the company with their humor and creating a chill-out atmosphere.
Every day you could find free sun loungers right next to the pool, which were not occupied by towels.
The waiter service worked hard to ensure the comfort of hotel guests.
All matters related to trips or rentals are handled by the hotel staff, you don't have to go anywhere and look for them.
On the day of departure, a prepared lunch box was waiting for us.
Thank you for my beautiful moments in Cyprus!!!

These people create the atmosphere and can make you fall in love with this place!!

Thank You!
Ania
