Right on the sea front with street parking directly outsideand although the hotel only does breakfast some good restaurants are very near by.Our lady host could not do enough for us, we will return to this clean and simple hotel in a great location.
This hotel is absolutely lovely and fantastic value. Excellent location on the sea front. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are modern and clean, we had a balcony with sea view. Would highly recommend as great budget accommodation!
We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel in Banyuls Sur Mer at the end of our 868kms walk across the Pyrenees. On recommendation from a group of French walkers, who were doing part of the Pyrenees, we booked in for 3 days on completion of our traverse from West to East. It was a good stay, the hotel was close to restaurants, the beach, shops etc. It was also very reasonably priced and clean. We fully recommend it to travellers, holiday makers and walkers. Mike
We stayed here with no reservations and just stopped and asked for a room for the night for my husband and I and our adult daughter. The room overlooked the water (across the road) and had 2 twin beds together and 1 smaller single bed. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. The showers could have been better cleaned and there were no amenities like shampoo or hair dryers. But the price at €80 was very reasonable and we had no complaints. It's not the Ritz, but we weren't expecting the Ritz. It was better than expected at that price and the lateness of our arrival to this beautiful French Meditteranian village.
We had intended to stay in Collioure, but everything appeared to be sold out and the town was swarming with people. So we continued to Banyuls-sur-mer. Tourist Information told us that Hotel Les Pecheurs had availability. We were greeted by the most gracious Madame Chantal (I do not know her last name). She speaks great english and was most accomodating. We ended up with the best room in the house: Number 16. You have an incredible view of the Sea from your window as well as a balcony you can sit on. Madame also made dinner reservations for us at the local 1*, which we would never have known about. Our room was spacious and clean. Hotel is located right across the street from the beach.
