enjoyed this hotel, not deluxe, priced right, friendly and helpful, Denis a great chef, choose if you want a private or shared bath, quiet rooms, 2 blocks to beach, friendly to Trekkers crossing the Pyrenees like me. not for ostentatious people.

This hotel was recommended by the tourist information office. To be fair to them it was quite busy and there was not any other accommodation in town. I would not want to be unfair on the hotel, it would easy criticise if you judged it by modern standards. The appearance from outside is nice and welcoming, however inside it was like stepping back 20 years with décor to match. You had to request a room "avec douche" the bedding although clean looked like it was from a charity shop. The best thing was the position you are ideally situated to explore the town. We would return but only if there was no where else available. There is no car parking at the hotel only in the street, you have to be lucky to get a space. There is a free car park nearby but you cannot park there on Thursday or Saturday as it is used as a market, you will get a reminder on the windscreen to move your car or it will be towed away otherwise there is free parking on the station car park but this is a 10-15 min walk away from the hotel.
