My 3 days Staycation at The Grand Coloane Resort was Fun and I really enjoyed every bit of it.
I was able to book a room during their 11:11 promotion, I booked it directly on their website. I stayed at Grand Coloane from November 27 to 29, 2020 it just few minutes taxi away from Areia Preta. The check-in was fast as it's not crowded that day. I also got Room Upgrade, Thank you to Monica the Front Office on duty. I also commend Mr. Ariel for his Excellent Guest Service during my stay. The room was really spacious with big bathroom and comfortable beds, the terrace is a plus. The hotel facilities were also great they have outdoor pools if you can brave the cold weather or you can just swim in their heated indoor pool with Jacuzzi/whirlpool on the side. The hotel reservation comes with free breakfast for 2 and I must say the variety of food is superb you can eat till you drop. I also want to try their Saturday BBQ with Unlimited Beer and Drinks for MOP300+ all mouth watering dishes. Overall, my stay at Grand Coloane Resort is Superb. I was satisfied by their excellent guest service "Kudos" to all their staff. If you asked me if I want to stay again I'll definitely answered you back with a big YES. It's my first time to stay at Grand Coloane Resort. I'll be back, See you Again.

3rd day in Quarantine and it really doesn’t feel like quarantine because the hotel management and staff have made it very comfortable.
The western and Chinese menu selection is amazing and the quality of food is of a very high standard. 24 hour room service provides large range of beverage alcohol selections and food range is wide as well. Pretty full after all the delicious and filling inclusive meals so not much need to order more food (although I did order chicken nuggets on my first night)
I’m staying in a 60sqm Grand room. Good aircon, spacious and very clean for a hotel that is a little dated. Can only open the balcony a little bit (12cm) because the government doesn’t allow guests to go outside of balcony. They provide washing detergent for cutlery and separately for clothes.
The GM here has done an excellent job together with his friendly staff. All details are not overlooked.
Compared to the quarantine hotels in Shanghai, this place is Heaven!

My husband and I are having a 14 days quarantine at this hotel and we are half way through. It is not one of the new hotels with fancy bathroom or facilities, but, our room is spacious and clean with a balcony that gives us fresh air (though we are not allowed to go out). Our room is facing the beach so there's lots of sunshine, trees and we hear the birds sing all the times. We did not expect quarantine can be so relaxing!
There's plenty of variety on meals and the food is above average. Each morning, hot coffee is served when we ordered according to exactly the way we want it. We've also tried the a-la-carte menu, the sweet and sour pork is just so yummy!!!
The service is excellent and we feel the staff here are all trying their very best to provide the best service. There are new towels and bed sheets/pillow case after the 1st week. Today we even have Portuguese egg tart as an afternoon tea treat!
We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU for all who have made our quarantine stay such a comfortable experience!

Secluded spot away from the noise but close enough to be there fast. Good value for families.
Cleaning staff could be a bit more careful though, as our room had 'gifts' from the previous guests.

My staycation in Grand Coloane Resort - Macau is really a great experience. The staff are very friendly and I love how they gave a smile to every guest even-though I can just see it through their eyes because of face mask . I want to commend Ms. Rachel Barlis, The Front Officer who manage to gave our request to have a room with a very nice nature view. She's really professional, well-mannered, and lovely as well.
Although we experience having a clog toilet bowl but still it doesn't affect our happiness in staying in this hotel because they still gave us an urgent action when they immediately help us to change our room. So, thank you to Rachel and Charlie for helping us to that problem. Thank you also to Bolen for helping us in our special request. and lastly to Sam and Janice for giving us a wonderful service when we had our breakfast.
They are all very commendable because they really make sure that every guest will experience an unforgettable stay in this resort. Once again thank you and I will definitely be back again soon.

Just spent 3 weeks at this hotel for my mandatory quarantine after returning from overseas. Very satisfied with the room, which was spacious with a big balcony and a fantastic view of the beach, and quiet. Access to the balcony was not allowed unfortunately but one can open the glass doors a bit so fresh air can come in. Good selection of meals and of good quality - even had rack of lamb twice during my stay. The hotel provided laundry and dish washing detergent, sponge, abundant supply of drinking water, fruits with meals everyday, and even mooncakes and a lantern during mid-Autumn Festival. Overall, a very good experience and made the entire quarantine stay much easier.

It's a really nice place if you want to relax from the city lights Macau has to offer. It's quiet and it will give you the vacation feeling you don't get when you are in Cotai. Food is cheap and really affordable, but because of the pandemic we are experiencing there is a shortage in staff so Room Service, Restaurant and Pool Bar shares the same menu. Hotel is quite old and you could smell the musky scent as soon as you enter the room floors. Overall still a good hotel.

The staff is fantastic, very friendly and tend to the guests needs promptly. The location is just phenomenal in a more secluded area of Coloane island and has a public beach right next to it followed by a very scenic footpath around the cliffs of that part of the island. It is very beautiful. The interior of the hotel has probably already seen its heydays a few years ago and could do with an overhaul of the interior with a paint job, new (or painted) wallpaper and new carpets. However, the friendliness of the staff and the location compensate for that.

我疫情前經常往返國內， 而疫情後也回到國內幾次， 這酒店肯定是我待過最好的隔離酒店了：房間闊落， 每餐的份量足夠， 加錢的話其本上room service 什麼也有。
I have always been a usual traveler to china due to business needs and this is 3rd time i m in quarantine hotel, and i sincerely say Grand Coloane is so far the best one i ever have.
The issue for quarantine hotel is once you have checked in, the whole mercy is on the hotel and how they are going to treat you.
For Grand Coloane, first the standard meals has been of vety good quality and sufficient quantity (i did have the experience of not having enough food in a quanrantine hotel before). In addition you can order any food n wine from cavier to wanton soup to beer and champaign as you desired.
The most excelled part is their service: during ny stay my iphone charging cable broke, and the lady at front desk actually went and bought one for me from the shop in city center!
There is a huge balcony but please forgone the idea of forcefully opening the lock unless you are the hulk or something.
Overall it is 9.5/10 quarantine experience! Only 0.5 points is the room is a bit old but i mean it is a quarantine hotel......so cannot have unrealistic expectation.

I've quarantined 3 times this year to Macau and this is the second time I've chosen to stay at GCRM. Yes the hotel is not as new as the others, yes it's quite far from the main area of Macau and Taipa, but really as long as the TV has a HDMI plug and the internet is working fast (which it was because you have a million con-calls) then you're not really going anywhere for 14 days.
Comparing with the other available hotels, the key reason i came back is that this is the only quarantine hotel which provides you with the 12cm gap of fresh air which compared to all other Macau hotels, you don't need to get blasted with 24hours of aircon. Hopefully someday we can use the balcony as well in quarantine.
I must say as well comparatively even to bigger brand name hotels the effort they put into the food here is much greater as well as the speed of service. I tried to loose weight during the period which successfully was done with the adjusted quantity and food types (i asked simply for less carbs) and more veg which was met with satisfaction.
They do have the option to rent fitness equipment which is nice but it is slightly expensive for the treadmill. Helps that you're also not facing streets or other buildings, but the sea which makes getting past the days more enjoyable.

If you are already set to go there by ferry, I suggest that you take the Macau Ferry Terminal outside the terminal there are free service bus for the hotels around Macau. One of them is for the Grand Coloane which is a mini bus every 20-30mins. Just be sure to be there not later than 8pm. If you want to enjoy more of new ways to go to Macau, I also suggest that you take the bus journey from Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau by bus near Hong Kong Airport by taking any airport bus from the city.
There are more places to choose from in the Macau area.
