At the Grand Lisboa Palace, the immaculate conditions have earned high marks from guests who often note the exceptional cleanliness of the rooms and facilities. The staff's quick and friendly service receives consistent praise for enhancing stays, while the spacious and elegantly decorated rooms with modern amenities are a highlight for many travelers.
Although the hotel's value is recognized for reasonable room pricing, some guests mention the breakfast buffet could be more affordable. The luxurious amenities are popular, despite a few suggestions for service improvements.

As the name shows, the hotel was reli huge. The staff at the counter was friendly and attentive. The room was so much spacious than I had expected. It was interesting that there was a closet right next for the toilet. The toilet was unexpectedly huge as it contained a shower room as well as a large bathtub. The room was equipped with high-technical buttons controlling the curtain the lightings etc. for the beds, it was comfy and I slept reli well.
One thing that could have been better was that there were many shops to be opened, so we didn’t have much to shop. But of course, there was one big supermarket on 2nd floor offering what you needed.

The Grand Lisboa Palace is one of the newest luxury hotel in Macau, I chose this hotel due to good location, positive reviews and excellent facilities. Indeed. I made a good decision, front office checked in and checked out all went smoothly.
We highly enjoyed our special stay, complimentary anniversary cake surprised set up with kind message from manager Christina Lu fabulous and well presented! I loved the colourful room design with spacious garden view room. The bath tub is a bit small but bathroom is well equipped with nice toiletries. The hotel has complimentary shuttle bus from ferry terminal and to cities major tourist spot location. A MLRT train station is 10 minutes walk from hotel. Accessible to anywhere you wanted to go, staff are helpful anytime we enquire anything. Grand buffet breakfast has vibrant food varieties, beautiful ambiance and the hotel has many restaurant for you to enjoy.
The pool indoor and outdoor are both wonderful. Gym slightly small but we do enjoyed personalised services. Thanks for your warm hospitality! Highly recommended!

Starting on the first night, the reading light automatically lit up at full power right into our faces at 5am, 5.30 and 5.50 (approximately). The room has hi tech touch sensitive switches that just don’t work. Also, the backlight the switches have is so strong, that just lights up the whole room.
The AC temperature is just terrible. The room doesn’t heat up and the temperature on the rest of the hotel is just cold. Even in the indoor pool. We swam in the pool and right after coming out, we had to leave as it was just unbearable. It’s winter time!
The breakfast is poor. Really poor. You only have 3 Asian options and only tea and coffee as drinks. The food was good, but the choices are very limited. We would expect at lease a western option on a 5* luxury hotel.
A lot of restaurants were a fuss to book as they all claimed they were fully booked. We managed to still eat at one of them after insisting a lot. The place was empty. Only 5-6 tables were filled. More than half was vacant.
The secret garden is advertised all over the resort as being opened from 5pm to 10pm. However, it’s opened only until 6pm. They should change this information.
Also, we left MESA at midnight (closing time) and were heading back to our room. Most of the escalators and some elevators were closed, making it difficult to access our room. We were approached by a security guard that made us feel we shouldn’t be walking around in the resort and we were almost forced to either go to the room or gamble.
The whole stay was just disappointing and uncomfortable. Which is a shame as the room is well decorated and spacious. We’re not coming back to this one, for sure.

We choose Grand Lisboa Palace to be our wedding eve's preperation and because it had a beautiful art displays and a great garden for photoshooting.
Over a month before our wedding we booked online through their main website for 2 separate rooms, one for the bride and one for the groom.
We also requested if they could open their garden an hour or at least 30 minutes earlier because we wanted to take photos there before we proceed to our wedding ceremony and stating that it was our wedding eve preparation.
Hours later their Front Office called. Stating that they cannot open the garden for us and just have to wait until it opens at 10am even when we mentioned it was before our wedding ceremony on that same day.
At this point he offered our call to be transfered to Operations Services to handle our request, I denied because we weren't looking to book the entire garden. We only needed at least 30 minutes to take a some photos. They apologized and offered cake instead. No any other follow up calls nor e-mail regarding the situation.
And now, the day came that we were already preparing for our GRANDEST DAY of our lives. My soon to be wife that day and her bridesmaids woke up 5am to get their hair and make up done. The Groomsmen and I were also getting ready.
Everything was going smoothly, but the moment our photographer came with his team thats when the stress starts to build up. I proceeded to the reception counter to ask for assistance, from there the clerk asked what's the team of photographers for. I answered its for the wedding preparation shoot. And then minutes later they called and started giving rules and limitations on when entering the garden, where the clerk and I both agreed that 8 members with 1 photographer. And she also offered we could take photos around the lobby with no limitations instead. And to compensate with the misunderstanding they upgraded our room to a suite facing the garden. From here it was going downhill. Later did i know, when my wife and her bridesmaids were going to the garden they were being denied to enter by the security. They went outside the lobby and the security was still bugging them. So I guess the agreement I had with the clerk was just between us and it wasn't centralized with security team. At this point I was getting worried for my wife because I couldn't do much because traditionally the Bride and Groom weren't allowed to see each other until during the ceremony and I know she's getting stressed, on our WEDDING day.
From there on end, we just proceeded with what alternatives we had because we still have a ceremony to go to. At the end. There was no garden photoshooting.
Grand Lisboa Palace sure did gave us a memorable, first and LAST experience.
PS. their cake was served and was still there.

Excellent products and services ! The room is spacious and tastefully decorated!
The services is impeccable, I requested for some ice cubes to be delivered to the room and it was delivered within like 2 mins !
I got lost (with pleasure) in this giant monster and was looking for directions at the lobby, Lok U walked spontaneously and offered assistance and walked us to the restaurant!
Real five stars service !

This was a birthday trip with my Taiwanese friend. When Mr. Vernon (Staff#166510) at the front desk saw my ID card, he pointed out that my birthday would be in the next few days and proactively upgraded my reservation to a suite. Also presented with a chocolate birthday cake. The whole check-in process was very smooth, and every staff member was very friendly. The housekeeper who delivered the cake carefully called the room first to inform that the cake would be delivered. I was very satisfied with my two-day and one-night stay. The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. The breakfast the next day was also very rich. It could satisfy both Chinese and Western styles. The most satisfying thing was the iced Hong Kong-style milk tea. As a person who must have a cup of it every day, I was very satisfied. Thanks again to Grand Lisboa Palace for giving me a great birthday trip.

…than they inevitably will be in a few months when Macau is back up to full capacity, because this hotel is just wonderful. At the moment, with many shopfronts not taken and the third hotel (a Versace one) yet to open, it’s bafflingly empty given the quality. The views from wandering the ‘Jardim Secreto’ are just incredible and attest to the scale of what they have built. On the same floor, the swimming pools are divine and the buffet restaurant truly too class. Our rooms were outrageous in size and style at the price, give they cost HALF what similar ones would on the main Macau strip, in the Galaxy complex or even within CoD. Yes the hotel feels a little isolated but for quality of room, food and just all round mad, maxed out Macau opulence I cannot think of anywhere better. Make sure to wander round the many marble lobbies to be amazed, especially by the large scale art work. Such helpful staff too, thank you for making our stay so fun and carefree. Seriously, get in while you can and enjoy spending time here before most people get priced out once their usual tariffs are in place.

Dear The OExpress, Thank you for the excellent rating. I am extremely delighted to know that you enjoyed your stay especially with the best value within the Cotai strip. The amenities we offer are unmatchable especially with the well appointed room, great food and the comfort of luxury. We might be off the main strip but actually walkable within 15 minutes. If not, we offer free shuttle service to most of the attractions within the Macau and Cotai Strip.

The hotel complex is expansive, with every corner offering a perfect photo opportunity.
Check-in was quick and efficient, which made for a great start to our stay.
The breakfast buffet exceeded our expectations! The variety and selection of food and drinks were impressive, offering something for everyone.
The gym, although small, features Techo Gym equipment. There are two swimming pools—one indoor and one outdoor—providing great options for a swim. The complimentary workout sessions offered daily are a nice touch, though I didn’t get the chance to participate.
The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle bus service to various tourist spots, which made exploring the area much easier for us.
The room and bathroom interiors are tastefully designed, with shower amenities by Appelles, adding a touch of luxury to our stay.
The casino is vast, with impressively high ceilings, making for an exciting and grand atmosphere.

Had an overnight stay here in a Deluxe Room. At 60 sq m this was very spacious and comfortable. My room overlooked the inner courtyard with its greenery.
The bathroom was large, and housed the closet as well as luggage rack. Very luxurious-looking decked out in white marble.
My only complaint was that in lieu of an iron, the hotel provided a small, hand-held steamer which did not do a good job... or perhaps I am just too dumb to use it.
