I have mixed feelings about my stay in this hotel. I appreciate that it’s a 3-star hotel in a popular Ibiza resort but the price for a week in a single room was way over the top especially as mid-September. As for the single room it was sparse, uncomfortable, noisy (no sound proofing and buzzing electrics) and overlooked the road! Once there was space, I moved to a sea facing room and although it had similar facilities the great view was worth the extra money. None of the rooms had fridges (although there were cupboards where a fridge must once have gone) and none had coffee making facilities (but maybe that’s too much to ask for 3*). Breakfast buffet was basic but plentiful and the shared pool was small and too packed to be useful. The redeeming feature was that the hotel manager who was friendly and went out of her way to be helpful (thank you Fina) and in terms of location this hotel is on the beach, 10 minutes’ walk from Ibiza town, was clean and relatively quiet (by Ibiza standards). I had a great time but not sure if I would stay there again. …
I had an overnight stay in the Ibiza Playa at the end of a short break in Ibiza. The hotel’s location is decent - in the centre of Figueretes, close to the airport and a 15 minute walk to Ibiza town. For the money, I was more than satisfied with the standard of accommodation. My room was pretty sparse but it was clean and functional. The reception staff were very friendly and keen to please. The pool area is a little tight, and shared with the adjacent holiday apartments. Breakfast wasn’t included in my room rate. Normally I would have gone out to eat, but the weather was awful (thunderstorms) so I paid €9 to stay at the hotel. It was nothing special, but reasonable value. The room safe was key operated, but I wasn’t given a key so it couldn’t be used.
We were delighted with our stay here. Upon arrival check in was made easy and we made our way to a very spacious clean room which had a lovely sea/beach view. Aircon was nice and working well but not always required. There was a lovely buzz from the town below but equally a nice silence once you shut the balcony doors. Most importantly the staff were amazing, they printed club tickets and boarding passes for us, it almost seemed like a policy, they would trigger taxi arrivals, they were helpful and had great advice on how best to get to places and what routes to take. And for a cherry on top they had a room for minding our bags and could even take a shower if we were flying out late even though we had to check out early. One morning we were still in bed so the cleaners skipped our room but we were delighted to come back to it that evening and still cleaned. Would definitely recommend it. Only little snags were that because the cleaners had to move beds you could hear a bit of noise from other rooms in the morning. Also given the hot weather a fridge in the room would have been nice.…
One of the worse experience in my life. As a single traveller i was put in a locker room, a wall in front of my window with a constant noise of air conditioner machine. The room very poor with a single small bed and water coming from the ceiling to the bathroom floor. Just a curtain for the shower: what's a luxury hotel!! 3 stars for this sh..t?? Moreover there is NO swimmingpool. The only swimmingpool is in common with another hotel nearby and so small and crowded all day long! Are you serious ?? I paid thousend of euros for nothing! You are just a bad Guesthouse !! Shame on you !
Stayed for 4 nights and had a lovely balcony and view but there was no fridge, safe and air conditioning did not work. Also when you had the window open the bathroom ceiling tiles lifted up by the wind. There was also annoying men working outside with drills from 9am (although not the hotels fault). On the plus side very clean and nice staff but I will not stay again.
