We would thoroughly recommend Sueno Azul. We went there during COVID and were one of only 3 families on site. Everywhere was extremely quiet and this suited us perfectly. We even had the pool to ourselves on a couple of days. The detached villa we had (number 10) was perfectly placed in the centre of the resort which made it very quiet and secluded. The quality of the unit was very high and had masses of space. The quality of the furnishings was also very good and extremely comfortable.There is even a small barbecue for your own use on the huge terrace/patio. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bar/restaurant on site was also very good and not too expensive.We would definitely return to this resort!!

Plenty of room in unit which was well equipped and comfortable. Nice pool area with free towels provided. Bar/restaurent adjoining pool. Food limited enough there though. Short walk to restaurents and bars, and also to beach. Area is quiet

We have lost count of the number of times we have stayed at Sueno Azul and that in itself is testament to the high standards maintained by all the staff who work there. From Reception to the housekeeping team and the the onsite handyman the attention to detail is faultless. All managed by the resident Manager, Josi Garcia, the resort is just perfect for all visitors.

find out if building work going on before arrival / booking. be more insistent on the resort contacting RCI for alternative accommodation as we were told lies on when the building work would stop. the noise made the holiday a disaster

Stayed here for a week in a very comfortable, well equiped three bedroom bungalow with small garden area and patio. When not eating off site, we enjoyed eating out on the patio. The resort is very well maintained and kept clean. Security is a high priority. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and found the food to be good, though perhaps not too generous with the veg with Sunday lunch. (A minor criticism) The pool is quite small, but very child/family friendly. We found all the staff to be courteous, welcoming and friendly. There was a midweek clean with bedding and towel change. We found the resort to be very relaxed and laid back … just to our liking. It is located in a quiet, largely residential area with a 5-10 minute walk to the local shops/cafes/restaurants/pubs/coast. We very much enjoyed our stay and would very happily stay there again.…
