New, beautiful, intimate, quiet and family-run hotel; the main quality of the hotel is to make you feel in a small and welcoming, well-kept environment. The spaces and concept of the hotel are beautiful, the area of tables adjacent to the bar and main swimming pool is useful and functional and the terrace with a view of the sea and sunset for dinner and lunch is beautiful. We had a room with a shared pool and were pleasantly accommodated with an upgrade to a room with a private pool.
Good bar service and good quality of drinks included in the all inclusive.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and always tries to help with any need, making you feel included in the family context of the hotel.
In general the experience is positive and reflects that of a good 4 star hotel; to truly give a 5 star experience it would be necessary to review lunches and dinners; the breakfast is good and quite varied, however we found the lunches and dinners a bit repetitive and not at a level that we would expect from this type of hotel; let's say that for the type of hotel and quantity of dishes offered at the buffet (limited compared to the usual all inclusives of large resorts) perhaps it would be better to focus on an even more limited but higher quality offer with local excellences (including fish) perhaps done in show cooking. For example, the tzatziki evenings with freshly grilled skewers and the zante evening with freshly made gyros are excellent; the other evenings were repetitive with chicken, pork stews etc. which don't make you feel like you were in a 5 star hotel in Greece.

It is good to highlight the empathy and helpfulness of the hotel staff.
Excellent cleaning of the rooms and pools.
Now the negative aspects that I was able to detect: the Resort is under construction and therefore only next year it will be possible to verify the structure globally. Criticized the solution of the restaurant / breakfast room on a different floor than the buffet both for safety reasons (the staircase is narrow and I often found food residues dropped from the dishes of the diners) and comfort.
Same criticism for the bar which is located in a narrow and blind corridor.
The variety of dishes on offer is decent (there are days dedicated to Greek, Italian and French cuisine and on Sundays there is barbecue).
Disappointing animation that when present (3 days a week) ends at 23:00.
I recommend you unline your English ... the reception does not know Italian.
Check immediately the type of room you have purchased.
There is currently no access to the sea.
Tips: rent a motorcycle to get around the island (I do not recommend the car because there is currently no parking). A 5-minute walk away there is a beach with a Caribbean sea (for 15 euros you can get two sunbeds and an umbrella). Attached to the lido there are two restaurants with local food.
Summarizing potential 5-star structure (to be evaluated when workers complete the work). Finally an applause for the barmaid as patient as nice (her smile never fails!!!).

Overall, the hotel has 5* potential: but details:
- meals (apart from snacks, which in my opinion are not very varied and do not fit 5*) are definitely yes. The place where meals are served is small, but there were no problems with queues etc. In my opinion, it was also great. The place to eat is also good, the service is the same, delicious ice cream available all the time :)
The boy serving in the serving room makes great omelets with extra ingredients and fried eggs for breakfast :)
- rooms, service, equipment are also great - it deserves n 58
- the pool is ok, but the service at the pool is not perfect (no one cleans up the dishes left behind, there are no more to serve drinks at the end of the day, and there are too few sunbeds - there are probably 70 of them in total and 140 guests, so as most people want It happened to us twice in the morning to lie by the pool and there was no room - that's a big minus :(((
- the service at the bar was very nice and polite, the same at the tables and at the reception, the only minus of the bar service was that the same drink prepared by each serving person (and there were probably 4-5 people) tasted different :((
- some improvements could be made to the finishing of the generally accessible areas (damaged lock in the toilet at the reception, missing joints in several places on the terrace, uncleaned dirt from construction works, improve the area around the hotel a little more - but these are just minor comments
As for the water spilling in the bathroom - you need to point the shower head on the wall towards the faucet and after leaving, run a towel over the floor, because it is true that it splashes a bit, but the effect of finishing without a threshold is nice - towels, etc., change every day. so there's no problem, and if you can take something out to the balcony to dry, it's not a problem either :)

A famous quote well sums up my experience in the week of August at this property.

Our Reservation was for the main structure overlooking the sea but last second we were parked in a newly built building at the back overlooking on one side another hotel building and on the others a building under construction and on a construction site with bulldozers, garbage, excavations, etc.
The room was tested by us finding problems with electrical outlets, air conditioning (for specific correctness these problems were fixed after dinner on the first evening), safe and shower drain (never fixed after several reports).
For a week we breathed lime and paint.

All the private pools in the back facilities were always polluted by lime dust from the construction site. In addition, the cleaning ladies cleaned the ground floor stall by throwing dirty water into the pool...
The communal/main pool has few umbrellas and sun loungers.
The beach can now be reached by passing the state road without a sidewalk with a walk of about 15 minutes with a difference in altitude in the last stretch and under the sun!
The beach is very small, with sunbeds and umbrellas to rent at the beach establishment at a cost of 15 €, did you think that a 5* had understood it?

The location of the structure however is outside the villages, exiting on the main road travate a couple of restaurant and another couple on the beach and a supermarket. But if you want to take a ride in the evening you are isolated and need to have car rental or take a taxi (if you find it).
Apart from a couple of nights with some music (it ends early anyway) there are no entertainments for the evening.

The restaurant was located on the first floor of one of the structures, reached by narrow staircase where there is always ups and downs of people seen the buffet is on the ground floor.
Food level canteen, neither good nor bad but basic.

The staff (apart from three younger girls who were exceptions) are rude, arrogant and disorganized. It was always necessary to ask for water at the table with the terror of being attacked by the waiters and the mother.
The last few days we found the sheets on the bed folded and we had to make the bed ourselves, always because we are a 5 star...

We had a great week on Zakynthos.
The hotel complex only opened in 2023, modern rooms with a large shower and plenty of space in the bathroom.
We could go straight into the pool from the terrace.
Olha, the barmaid is great... until 11pm there are all-inclusive drinks, original Coca Cola!
The food was varied and I really enjoyed it... every day there is tzatziki, Greek salad, feta cheese and delicious desserts.
The wife of the owner Vasilis speaks German and is very helpful and friendly.
Towels for the pool/beach can be rented for a deposit of €10.

Mid-August week, therefore the most expensive and requested of the year, and they placed us in a real construction site, probably due to overbooking, since some of us were left without a room for a whole day and then played Russian roulette moving several times in multiple rooms, but it is not known why. The ones they were able to assign us immediately, we believe had been completed a few hours earlier, since they still had visible stains of mortar on the ground, including in the bathroom, shower and glass, dust from lime on furniture, air conditioning and electrical outlets not working. The pools of the rooms on the ground floor were full of dirt due to work in progress and behind the rooms the active construction site.
It also happened to have the workers at work practically in front of the rooms, which objectively, is not the best for privacy. The electrical problems were actually solved at 10 pm, for the rest, in a week, not only surface cleaning, but also sheets resting on the beds so that we had to make them ourselves. We even saw cleaners throwing dirty water into the pools belonging to the rooms after washing on the ground. "HORROR" cit.
Apart from that, which was enough and advanced, to reach the beach, there was a 15-minute walk in the middle of the road, under the scorching sun. Sunbeds and umbrellas are charged and the beach is really very narrow. Of the shuttle service available, no one told us anything, we found out later, reading reviews from others.
Buffet of poor quality and little variety, arranged in a very limited area when compared to the amount of customers who are preparing to receive, and the tables are upstairs, then stairs to do to fill the plate. For those with food intolerances, sign of the cross and go. Someone in our group tried to sit down to eat at the tables outside overlooking the pool, but was yelled at badly, and it is not clear why, since other people did it quite regularly. In general, unfriendly staff, with very rare exceptions. As a group, we had reserved tables, but in the middle of the week they decided we couldn't. That's it, de botto.
The construction company deserves more stars than the hotel because it pulled up whole room blocks in 3 days. Surely when the work is completed it will be a place of the Madunina, but when it was up to us it was a discomfort not insignificant. The area is not central, and nearby venues are designed for an English style of nightlife. Let's say as Italians it's better to go somewhere else... Too bad, because the potential is so much, it was a disappointment, to be fine and not use another word that rhymes with impepata.

It was a last-minute decision to stay at this hotel having had to cancel our planned trip to Skiathos and we were more than happy with our choice. Our room (331) had a great sea view, and was spacious, clean, and tidy, with a lovely comfortable bed. The bug screen on the door (which we've never seen anywhere else), is a stroke of genius and meant we could have fresh air at night and not get bitten to death. There was a ceiling fan and air conditioning meaning we were always comfortable. Generous with the toiletries, even toothbrushes! The staff worked very hard to make our stay a great one. Every one of them was polite, friendly, and welcoming. The one issue we did have was quickly resolved - we couldn't work out the safe because the previous people locked the door while it was open so not the hotel's fault. Food was, in our opinion good with lots of choice. We didn't look for snacks in the afternoon so cannot comment on those, we had eaten a good-sized lunch so didn't need snacks. In the week we stayed, there were French, BBQ, Greek, and Italian nights so a wide variety of food. The pizza was especially yummy. The pool area was busy as you would expect but tidy and clean. A few more sunbeds wouldn't go amiss but that's been the case at every hotel we've ever been to all over the world. If people were less selfish it would help. Free pool towels were provided which you could change every day. The 'wet room' style bathroom was cleaned daily with fresh towels and we had no issues at all with the shower temperature. The reception staff was happy to book a taxi and we got a great deal on car hire that they arranged for us also. This hotel only opened this year so a few teething issues have to be expected, if you experience any issues, tell them and they will work hard to resolve them for you quickly. We'd happily return, next week if we could :) Thank you everyone.

My partner and I returned from Zante last night having stayed at the Mirage Bleu Hotel for a week and writing this I have mixed feelings on what to report to anyone looking to stay here.
Not as advertised would be the main headline, followed by most definitely not a five star experience.
Depending on the experience you want it could be for you. Very quiet to the point of dull. We were told there was a entertainment program at the hotel, one Greek night and one Jazz night which was called off, per week is not a program. This could of been overlooked if the food had been also what was advertised, a mix of international and Greek cuisines. It was practically all Greek bland food. So bad that we started eating out. If you like any sort of spice or depth of flavour avoid eating here!! I'm a chef by trade and would love to have gotten into that kitchen to teach them what food can taste like. We weren't alone, the looks of disappointment from fellow guests were constant, we were told from another English speaking couple they couldn't eat there and spent a fortune on eating out as well.
Staff, apart from a few friendly ones, they looked like they hated there jobs and the guests. The one bar (we were told by Tui there were two) had a ques most of the time, ordering drinks at the table produced a murderous look from the waiting staff so we gave up on that.
We choose the best room there was, a deluxe double room, sea view and private pool and was told by Tui there was a separate living area, sofa etc. There was no such thing. We talked to the Manager and he said he didn't know where the photos we were shown of the rooms before booking came from.
The manager is a lovely man but seems out of his depth in getting a new hotel up to the quality you need to get to before accepting guests.
Awful ambience, limited food options ( the photo of the buffet area is totally false) a bar man who had been there a week never returned because he said he was left alone on a busy bar constantly.
Having a shower in the room, prepare for the whole bathroom to become a paddling pool as there is no shower door or extractor fan, wet rooms need to be separated to some degree!
If sunning yourself by the pool and going to bed early as most guests seemed to do is your thing then maybe it's for you.
If you've stayed in five star hotels, or a Tui Sensatori resort, this is not the place for you!!
I apologise to the General Manager for not filling out his guest questionnaire on our departure but we felt pressured to write a glowing review as he was afraid Tui would remove them from there chosen hotels. I will be taking this up with Tui, false advertising is not acceptable at the high price we paid, mentally and financially!

A new hotel with a modern appearance in a very quiet location, suitable for making trips or renting a car or scooter. A nice beach is a few minutes' walk away, beach beds with parasol can be rented for €10 per day. Nice swimming pool at the hotel.
The food is varied and good, you won't be short of anything. All employees try to make you happy, friendly and service-oriented, hospitable.
Upgrade to sea view is definitely recommended, well worth it

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, we were treated to top-notch service that made our stay unforgettable. The owner, Vasilis, truly went above and beyond to make us feel like family, ensuring every aspect of our stay was perfect.

The hotel itself is a recent build, boasting modern amenities and pristine cleanliness. Our room was a delight with daily housekeeping, a private pool, and a breathtaking sea view that promised a serene start to each day.

The all-inclusive option was a standout, offering a wide variety of delicious meals that catered to all tastes. Every dish was prepared with care and served with a smile.

In sum, Mirage Bleu offers a rare combination of heartfelt hospitality, luxurious comfort, and culinary excellence. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in a slice of paradise. I cannot recommend it highly enough and am eagerly looking forward to our next visit!
