It was a last-minute decision to stay at this hotel having had to cancel our planned trip to Skiathos and we were more than happy with our choice. Our room (331) had a great sea view, and was spacious, clean, and tidy, with a lovely comfortable bed. The bug screen on the door (which we've never seen anywhere else), is a stroke of genius and meant we could have fresh air at night and not get bitten to death. There was a ceiling fan and air conditioning meaning we were always comfortable. Generous with the toiletries, even toothbrushes! The staff worked very hard to make our stay a great one. Every one of them was polite, friendly, and welcoming. The one issue we did have was quickly resolved - we couldn't work out the safe because the previous people locked the door while it was open so not the hotel's fault. Food was, in our opinion good with lots of choice. We didn't look for snacks in the afternoon so cannot comment on those, we had eaten a good-sized lunch so didn't need snacks. In the week we stayed, there were French, BBQ, Greek, and Italian nights so a wide variety of food. The pizza was especially yummy. The pool area was busy as you would expect but tidy and clean. A few more sunbeds wouldn't go amiss but that's been the case at every hotel we've ever been to all over the world. If people were less selfish it would help. Free pool towels were provided which you could change every day. The 'wet room' style bathroom was cleaned daily with fresh towels and we had no issues at all with the shower temperature. The reception staff was happy to book a taxi and we got a great deal on car hire that they arranged for us also. This hotel only opened this year so a few teething issues have to be expected, if you experience any issues, tell them and they will work hard to resolve them for you quickly. We'd happily return, next week if we could :) Thank you everyone.

New hotel with pleasant and friendly staff who make you feel at home. Very good food as well as various snacks to enjoy your day. The pools are very clean and the hotel is very close to a beach with a bar (50 meters). Ideal for family. The staff and the owner are always there to serve you in whatever you need.

Wow! The most relaxing holiday we have ever had. We stayed at the Mirage Bleu for our honeymoon. We was kindly upgraded to a room with a private pool. The room was dressed beautifully and wine and fruit was there waiting on our arrival. the owner was also there to greet us. Rooms are luxurious and cleaned daily. Staff were amazing especially the reception ladies. Nothing was to much trouble. The whole place is spotless and kept to a exceptional standard. We do not understand other reviews on here regarding the food as we found there was lots of choice and very tasty. The vibe of the hotel is all round friendly and relaxing. The next town along has plenty of lively bars if that’s your thing. The Mirage is a great five start experience and we WILL be going back. A special thank you to Vasilli and he’s beautiful daughter Maria for the kindness and hospitality. They made our honeymoon so special. A great luxurious relaxing hotel. Loved it.

Totally agree with the comments in the previous review and it is not a 5 star hotel. Our experience was very similar. Our room also flooded after a shower on our first night. Toiletries in the room were not replenished nor were tea and coffee. Food disappointing very little variety but on a positive we did enjoy the desserts if they hadn’t disappeared before you managed to have one. Snacks were a joke bread rolls,a tray of meat and cheese and a bowl of crisps occasionally popcorn, ice cream was always available. Coffee machine breaking down regularly. Restaurant staff not efficient and not attentive, tables not cleared and relaid after being used. But on a positive the hotel itself was really nice and we did enjoy our stay there but we didn’t feel that we had had a 5 star experience.

My partner and I returned from Zante last night having stayed at the Mirage Bleu Hotel for a week and writing this I have mixed feelings on what to report to anyone looking to stay here. Not as advertised would be the main headline, followed by most definitely not a five star experience. Depending on the experience you want it could be for you. Very quiet to the point of dull. We were told there was a entertainment program at the hotel, one Greek night and one Jazz night which was called off, per week is not a program. This could of been overlooked if the food had been also what was advertised, a mix of international and Greek cuisines. It was practically all Greek bland food. So bad that we started eating out. If you like any sort of spice or depth of flavour avoid eating here!! I'm a chef by trade and would love to have gotten into that kitchen to teach them what food can taste like. We weren't alone, the looks of disappointment from fellow guests were constant, we were told from another English speaking couple they couldn't eat there and spent a fortune on eating out as well. Staff, apart from a few friendly ones, they looked like they hated there jobs and the guests. The one bar (we were told by Tui there were two) had a ques most of the time, ordering drinks at the table produced a murderous look from the waiting staff so we gave up on that. We choose the best room there was, a deluxe double room, sea view and private pool and was told by Tui there was a separate living area, sofa etc. There was no such thing. We talked to the Manager and he said he didn't know where the photos we were shown of the rooms before booking came from. The manager is a lovely man but seems out of his depth in getting a new hotel up to the quality you need to get to before accepting guests. Awful ambience, limited food options ( the photo of the buffet area is totally false) a bar man who had been there a week never returned because he said he was left alone on a busy bar constantly. Having a shower in the room, prepare for the whole bathroom to become a paddling pool as there is no shower door or extractor fan, wet rooms need to be separated to some degree! If sunning yourself by the pool and going to bed early as most guests seemed to do is your thing then maybe it's for you. If you've stayed in five star hotels, or a Tui Sensatori resort, this is not the place for you!! I apologise to the General Manager for not filling out his guest questionnaire on our departure but we felt pressured to write a glowing review as he was afraid Tui would remove them from there chosen hotels. I will be taking this up with Tui, false advertising is not acceptable at the high price we paid, mentally and financially!

Absolutely STUNNING! This is a brand new hotel built beautifully. Yes we loved our sea view. We loved the food and felt the all inclusive definitely great value but what makes this such a memorable experience is the staff. They are warm, welcoming and go above and beyond. Every single person is friendly and ready to help. Having read some other reviews I feel they are unfair. The walk to the beach is on a public path not owned by the hotel. Yes it’s not paved but in 5 minutes you are on a beautiful beach with clear waters! Close enough to nip back to the hotel for lunch! There are bits and bobs being worked on but all very discreet and respectful with absolutely zero that affected our stay. Even the drive out here is lovely. Seeing some less touristy parts of the island. We have traveled the world and think we have a high standard and expectation and Mirage Bleu has been fabulous and exceeded that. I would highly recommend it. We are a family of two teenagers but others were here as couples, family groups or with younger children. Everyone respectful with lovely touches like fresh popcorn by the pool in the afternoon and tasteful entertainment. BRAVO Mirage Bleu! You were just what we needed and we will certainly be back.

We had a fantastic, relaxing, luxurious holiday in this great hotel. The room (sea view with private pool) was fabulous and the endless views to the Ionian sea were idyllic - The sunsets are just beautiful every night. The staff are charming and can't do enough to help - Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable! The food is gorgeous, everything is so tasty and there is always a good variety. We stayed 10 nights and went out to local restaurants for 3 nights when we needed a bit of a change and we wanted steak, seafood, pizza (none of which were served at the hotel) Drinks were generally great, especially the cocktails. We like to drink red wine, but the hotel wine wasn't great and definitely gave the red a swerve after the first glass which was served very warm! In most AI hotels you can order from a wine list for an extra cost - this would be a good option for the future. Fabulous hotel with fabulous staff.
