Nice Resort
We stayed here last year, but I have to say we probably won't stay again. Nothing against the resort really, it was very nice and such but a little overpriced we think. The food wasn't great by any means but it wasn't the worst ever. I will say that my S.O was sick most of the trip which we contributed to the food.

Amazing loved it
Me and my family have just returned from a 10 day stay at the hotel (19-29Dec). We had an amazing time. Highlights....the staff..the people were amazing, nothing too much trouble...friendly kind attentive.. great with the kids. We enjoyed the luxury of preferred but agreed with another recent post that we're ambivalent about doing it again next time. We had a swim up room in the main area (not preferred section thru choice) but did enjoy the amenities of preferred.. flying fish restaurant..preferred beach club access and kids splash area. We loved the golf buggy rides too. The cocktails and other top shelf drinks were fab. Thd world cafe (main buffet) staff were excellent, of particular note was the adorable Hector who could not simply do enough to help customers. Ana in kids club equally could not do enough to help our 5 year old daughter. She was fabulous. The middle pool with the comfy blue floating beds was amazing. The entertainment team were simply excellent. A v.talented bunch of guys. Lowlights for us were the other restaurants (minus the Asian which was excellent). Poor choice poor service and not fab food. No other negatives really. Throughly enjoyed the location, the hotel, the staff, the weather and the whole experience:) Ask any questions if you would like.…

Sunset by the sea
This hotel is esplendid. It's very comfortable and you don't have to do those long walking or wait for this tiny vehicles to take you to the beach. The rooms are really pleasent. The service outstanding. You ask they give. As simple as that. Every night they have a topical show. The beach is something out of this world especially in the sunsets where you can see everyday the sun stepping down as a real show of nature. The food is real good and plenty. No complains at all. The safety is excellent. The food abundant and of great quality. So, you won't regret staying at this hotel.

Great time, great team, great site. The site was extra clean in all time, the Food was good and they had alot of varieties (only missing choices for vegan people), the Rooms are beautiful and clean, the beds were confy, the activities were super fun and we feel safe every we go on the beach. We also explore the corals and fishes that are accessible not too far from the beach, it was amazing. They Shows every night were super beautiful : Nice costumes, musics, dancers, musicians, circus artists. I had espacially alot of fun with German, Estel, Yahi and Juli. They are amazing dancers and entertainers, thank you guys for your great energy!!

Best barman ever
such a good barman! This hotel is just perfect and one of the main reasons are the employees such as Andres the barman. He was always smiling and was calling me « mon ami!! » everytime I came to the pool bar to order. Hope dream dominicus hotel realizes the chance they have to have this very good barman with their hôtel. I will definitely come here in my next trip in dominica républica. David.

We were there from 7-14 March 2017, and there was a red striped hammock near the sea (on the right hand side as you look out to beach). There were also flamingos on the way to the buffet restaurant. No-one mentions these 2 things. We wish to return and wonder if this was the Dreams hotel we were at. It was Dreams la Romana, but our friends stayed twice and they thought it was Adults Only
Dreams Dominicus La Romana is a family resort. The same company is building an adults-only resort next door. There is another Dreams resort in Punta Cana.

What should we expect the seaweed to be like in May? Last year we went to riviera maya and it was dreadful!
You will not have any seaweed at all. The water is always beautiful here.

Hi we are looking at coming to Dominican Republic very late October / beginning of November. In reality what is the weather like at this time??? Are the rainy spells quick and infrequent or could you realistically have whole days of rain around this time?? Your hotel looks like a real good option just worried about the weather!!! We want sunshine!!! We will be coming from cold London so we have enough rain at home! Thank you
Hello! When we were in the Dominican Republic, we did not have rains. Well, only once a five minute) And so the beautiful sun was constantly shining!

Hi, we booked this resort for our upcoming vacation in mid. February. We got the "deal of the day" room. Does anyone know what type of room is this? Also how much would cost if we decide to upgrade to "Preffered club"? Thank you!
This is answered I received about deal of the day from their Facebook page: "When you book the Deal of the Day you are booking a room but not a room category. You will be provided whatever room category is available upon check in." Not sure about upgrading since I've seen ranges from $30-$80 per night from other people's posts. Enjoy your trip!

Hi what are the hours for the all inclusive for alcoholic drinks. Are there any good trips to do?

Please take a look at your Sundial once in the hotel to lear more about hours and other kinds of information. Regarding trips and excursions, there are some very fun and interesting trips like Saona Island, Catalina Island, Altos de Chavon, etc. These arrangements can be made through the travel agency representatives directly at the main lobby of our hotel.
