Stayed here for 1 night as at a wedding in the area. Booked 2 rooms both rooms were clean and comfortable. Well stocked with tea coffee cereal and water. Fridge on landing with fresh milk in.

Plenty of towels, Wi-Fi and great tv.

Nina was so helpful in answering any questions we had.
As it was a Sunday that we were leaving a lot of the cafes were shut for breakfast however great Costa coffee just around the corner.

Parking right across the road pay and display free after 6pm and on Sundays

We needed a taxi to go the wedding definitely need to book well in advance Nina gave us the ladies number who was very reliable

Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Many thanks

We booked a room here when visiting Whitchurch to dine at another restaurant. On arrival the two young people running it were very helpful & friendly, advising on parking & even coming out to our car & taking our luggage up to our room. The room was a good size & very well appointed - much nicer than we had expected for the price we paid & immaculately clean.
They weren't serving breakfast because of Covid but there was cereal & pastries in the room & a hospitality station/fridge on the landing with extra supplies of fresh milk/juice/jam etc. Would definitely stay again if we needed a stopover.

We are a group six friends who were visiting a gin distillery in Malpas and were looking for somewhere clean but not too expensive to stay for the night. We stumbled on Reuben's online and really enjoyed our stay. There was excellent communication before and during our stay and the staff were all lovely and showed a real interest in making sure we were happy and enjoying our visit.
An added bonus was that we booked a meal in the restaurant below and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The customer service was excellent with exactly the right level of friendliness and interest to make the evening fun.
Highly recommend Reuben's Restaurant and Rooms - Thank you!

Stayed at Reuben's Rooms for one night in March. Contactless book in was convenient and was emailed all the details a day in advance. We were in a large twin room. It was very clean with comfortable beds. There is tea and coffee in the room and fresh coffee was a nice touch. The bathroom has a shower only, no bath, but that's fine. They aren't serving breakfast at the moment as the restaurant is closed, but they do provide cereal and also a selection of pastries and cereal bars. There is a car park across the road or you might be able to park in the driveway which is free. It's a no through road so nice and quiet. There is a pub next door, but we didn't hear any noise from there. Only a couple of small niggles - the bathroom lacks storage space, a shelf would be handy for toiletries/toothbrush holder etc. Also the bathroom door handle was coming loose, they should sort out this kind of minor maintenance issue.

We were meeting friends at Etzio's and decided to stay the night in Whitchurch! Reuben's was our choice and we weren't disappointed. Self check in, we were in room 6. Extremely clean and comfortable with everything required to make the stay enjoyable. Great bathroom with nice toiletries, good size TV and a selection of hot drinks and bottled water. Breakfast in the room consisted of Cereals, Pan au Chocolate and Cereal Bars. Plenty of fresh milk in the fridge on the landing. Excellent value and highly recommended, check car park tariffs before leaving your car!

Booked very last minute and I initially made en error on the booking which was quickly sorted out by a simple telephone call explaining the mistake. Really easy self check in which was perfect for me as I didn’t arrive until late.

I was dealt with by Nina who took payment over the phone and emailed a receipt there and then.

A clean and comfortable room with an unlimited selection of tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. There is a communal fridge in the corridor which is handy to have use of.

There’s a decent sized wall mounted TV in the room, although it didn’t seem to be connected to an aerial for regional TV, it was internet connected so I could stream videos from my phone via the built in YouTube feature. This seems to be the norm in hotels these days so I can’t complain.

I was very pleased to find out that this hotel was literally across the road from where I was working. So I could literally roll out of bed the following day. 11am check out which was a nice lie in for a change. Smack bang in the town centre within walking distance of some good takeaways and also a large Tesco supermarket.

Spacious bathroom with an excellent “rain shower”

I stayed in room 3, watch the step down! It caught me out a few times. I should take more notice of the signs. No view from the room but that’s good because there’s no need to close the shutters as you are not over-looked.

I will certainly stay again if I’m ever in the area. I almost booked to stay at a large chain place nearby but I’m glad I didn’t.
Hopefully next time the restaurant will be open because I’ve heard some good things.

An overall pleasant stay. I thought at first I was the only guest in the building so my TV was pretty loud. I then realised there was someone in the corridor walking up and down so I turned the volume down.

An overall pleasant and convenient stay. Thank you Reubens Whitchurch

Cool wooden keyring for the room. I loved this probably more than I should of 😂

Booked online with good communication especially on the day of arrival. The restaurant was closed so access & other instructions were sent by text. Parking directly opposite - free overnight until 8am.

Room was very clean & had all the little extras one would expect. Breakfast was basic but perfectly adequate.

Good for access to the town centre with plenty of places to eat nearby.

I booked Reuben's Rooms in the early part of March and really enjoyed the stay. Certainly I would stay again and I'm already thinking about that. It's a great base for Whitchurch and Shropshire. It took me a couple of tries to get used to the code for entrance but it worked out well in the end. A car park is right next door and a super market is 5 minutes walk if you should need one. Whitchurch high street is 100 steps away so you may well not need a supermarket anyway!

We came on a busy night when they were almost fully booked, took ages to take our order but we let them off as they were busy. Had nachos to start, they were amazing, hot dog for main wasn’t great, it was quite dry. For dessert we had an ice cream sundae which had brownie bits, but they tasted like they hadn’t been baked yet, like was just the mix. Wasn’t nice. By the time we were having dessert almost everyone around us had left, and there were 3-4 staff at the bar chatting. We were waiting for the bill for 20 minutes after we had finished dessert, they didn’t come over. My boyfriend had to go and ask them for bill, they then brought it. Was a dull experience.

Stayed here with friends for a night out in Whitchurch.
We were allocated room 2 which is nice , clean , modern and warm. Comfy bed and plenty of space.
Contact less check in was easy.
Excellent place to stay as is situated in the town centre near to everything.
Only gripe is the door in the restaurant continually bangs and sqeaks whilst food is served in the restaurant.
Asked if the door could at least be oiled but this was ignored.
Supposed to be a continental breakfast left in a basket in the hall , but in the morning the basket was empty as had not been refilled which I thought was poor after paying a premium to stay at the weekend.
Would hope to stay again if the food could be left in the room rather than open to more greedy guests.
