Stayed 5 night with the Mrs - originally booked a double room star prestige - All inclusive - but aimed for a sea view room upon check-in. Due to Horizon status we received a 50% discount and upgraded to a Corner-Suite with sea-view - WOW… Fantastic room - facilities and view.. Room 520.. Did not spend much time in star prestige solarium as we opted for being close to the pool instead. The hotel is fantastic and the service incredible.. Chef Pedro is a very lively Person and very nice with a great sense of humor- serving ‘Medicinos’ and special dessert after dinner - Thanks Pedro - you and the rest of the staff in all areas as doing a fantastic job to make sure everybody have a wonderful time. We have a favorite hotel now in Palma and we that is 100% Iberostar Llaut - we will be back for sure ! Tip: corner suites are located on each floor and have stunning views from balcony and room - incl sea-view from the shower.…
Another stay in this hotel. During winter very quiet, would not choose this hotel in spring/summer due to location, but great in wintertime. Rooms spacious, clean and very comfy beds. Our 3th visit to this hotel. Most staff members more than great, some of them .... sorry to say , you don’t expect to work in a 5* hotel , missing the X-factor, and that’s a shame as it lowers the 5* experience. Dining room, pleasant but bit hectic, staff / waiters dedicated, buffet lots of choice , show cooking ... most chefs great , but some give you a 2* experience, as if they have to be there, not friendly, no interaction with guests, no laugh no nothing ........ such a shame .... because others fantastic. But once more , great overall stay .... can recommend 👍
From the 1st step in this hotel you really feel welcome and a great hospitality of all the staff! The (jr suite) room is fantastic, the food is amazing and there is a really relaxing admosphere at het pool! All the staff is very friendly and helpfull! Unfortunately the water who is served at the restaurants was since monday 16th of May not drinkable because the Chlorine taste! The way they served is better for the enviroment but wasn't drinkable for us. We enjoyed the Star Prestige room and facilitys who where perfect! From the toproof we had an nice area for sunbathing and a undeep pool. (35cm) The free and open bar was great for us with also very friendly staff! The hotel is nearby the very busy boulevard area, who was'nt what we are looking for but we enjoyed the wonderfull Island by car! If you want to enjoy a relaxing and a well-maintained vacation; Go to Iberostar hotels!…
Our first stay here. A short two nights, but we very quickly relaxed into the surroundings. Our luggage was taken care of and our room prepared whilst we took a complimentary cold beer in the lobby. We had booked a ‘Star Prestige’ Sea View Junior Suite with ‘All Inclusive’. Let me first say that overall this was superb and we went away from the hotel longing to come back and look forward to doing so! The hotel looks clean, feels clean and smells clean throughout. There are various areas around the hotel, inside and out, to sit and relax and because they are numerous, it never feels crowded - certainly not at this time of year. Most of the staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful but management shouldn’t be complacent with their 5 star service, as one or two of the staff portrayed an air of indifference. Our room was lovely. Clean and well maintained it had all the facilities we required. My overall impression is that they’re aiming squarely at the couples market; all double rooms and the glass screening between sleeping area and toilet/bathing/showering area is for those completely comfortable in each other’s company! Generally the fixtures and fittings are of good quality, including very comfortable seating on the balcony. We enjoyed the wide selection of buffet food in the main restaurant for breakfast and evening meal. The large range differed on each night, and as well as providing numerous lovely pre-prepared dishes, they also cook fish and meat on request at the grill/hotplate. In addition to this, there are also a wide variety of individual elements to assemble any number of your own combinations; for example bowls of olives, capers, fresh produce, condiments, cheeses, oils, cooked vegetables, fresh breads, etc. There are no shortage of deserts either! The same restaurant provides an A la Carte menu for lunch. We also enjoyed an A la Carte breakfast and lunch at the poolside bar; Breakfast only available to a limited number of Star Prestige customers - pre-booking. We made use of the Spa on both days and the treatments were pretty good; massage and reflexology. The Spa area under the hotel provides an indoor pool, steam room, sauna and subterranean outdoor area with relaxing beds which catches the sun in the afternoon. The pool area is quite small but sufficient for the size of the hotel. The sun beds/Balinese beds are solid, comfortable and plentiful at this time of year. Like many areas of the hotel, the drinks menus can be accessed through QR scans on the tables and although there is table service, it was quicker to order at the bar! The Star Prestige customers get access to the open rooftop throughout there stay; a shallow (0.35m) cooling pool is a welcome rest-bight to the hot sun traps available all day. A small bar provides complementary non alcoholic drinks and snacks - only at certain times. As a short stay, we didn’t make use of the rooftop restaurant - booking required - but enjoyed evening drinks and views from the bar. My only issue with this hotel is poor communication! Whether it is intentional or not, extracting certain information about ‘All Inclusive - limited’ and the facilities available through ‘Star Prestige’ was difficult, both before we arrived and on arrival. The receptionist apologetically bombarded us with loads of information and then advised us to use their website or app; both of these avenues in my opinion are weak, clunky and clumsy, providing little in the way of clarity. The Balearics governing officials introduced limits to ‘All Inclusive’ packages to improve the image of the tourist industry by restricting the number of free alcoholic drinks to 3 at lunch and 3 at evening meal, per person. The receptionist at Llaut insisted this was 3 drinks in total per person per day, even after a request for clarity. The Bell Boy, on taking our bags up to the room told us it was 3 per lunch, 3 per evening meal, but advised us to confirm with reception once again. We did, and were told it was a total of 3 alcoholic drinks per person per day. However, when using the restaurant, it was clear that all the staff were working to the recent Balearic rule of 3 for lunch, 3 for dinner. We weren’t intending to drink excessively, but it is only fair that customers know what is provided as part of the package and what they can expect to be billed for at the end of their stay. I’d also add that the in room TV menu doesn’t provide ongoing billing costs during your stay. Similarly, the Star Prestige benefits are not widely clear. There were a few benefits we were not aware of during booking, and some of those we only stumbled on by chance during our stay. The information may be available somewhere within the depths of their website/app but if so, it’s certainly not obvious. My advice to the hotel is this: 1. Improve both your website and app by providing links to three separate hotel specific pages; ‘All Inclusive’, ‘Star Prestige’ and ‘Your Horizons’. Each of these pages should then clearly bullet point each and every facility/benefit available through these packages and be kept up to date. The receptionist complicated issues by intimating recent changes to some benefits, one of which was access to other Iberostar Hotels in the area, but it was unclear which ones and what exceptions applied…way too complicated for relaxation. 2. Improve the app for members: a login which provides a list of all specific benefits, instant access to ongoing billing items and a running total of incurred costs. For readers: I would list what we learned ourselves about the benefits, but at the risk of being inaccurate or circumstances changing, I’ll refrain! I will say, as another reviewer commented, that we estimated a benefit of approx €40-50 per person per day for All Inclusive, maybe more if you consume non alcoholic drinks frequently. We loved it here and are already planning to revisit when other commitments allow. It was relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable.…
This is a wonderful, modern hotel with helpful staff who did everything possible to ensure that we had a relaxed, hassle-free holiday. The atmosphere was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We had a difficult journey and arrived at the hotel at 1.00 am. The two guys on reception could not have been more welcoming, giving us refreshments and putting 2 plates of fruit in our room awaiting us after check in. At all times, we found all reception staff helpful and friendly. The room was a perfect size for the 2 of us. It was clean and bright with a pool view. Slightly frustrating was that when either of us got up in the night, the lights came on disturbing the other person and there appeared no option to switch this facility off. The room was cleaned to an exceptional standard each day and the mini bar was simultaneously re-stocked. We found that all staff throughout the hotel were friendly and always willing to help. Sofia was especially helpful, giving us as much time as we needed to plan our holiday including excursions and hire car. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Celine gave us a very friendly welcome at the entrance to the restaurant twice a day. The restaurant food was excellent with a wide choice and unlimited quantities. We accept that we should not expect English speaking staff (after all we were not in England!) and we also accept that several new staff had been appointed following the pandemic. We did experience a language barrier in the restaurant when ordering drinks. It may have been helpful if the restaurant staff had to hand a crib sheet setting out the available drinks in different languages. The pool and bar areas were very clean and modern. We experienced no language problems at either. The towel service by the pool worked effectively. The poolside music was slightly hit and miss. Mostly it was relaxed and chilled – perfect for lazing in the sun, but as the day moved on, it sometimes got louder and turned into drum, bass and rap which we found not so relaxing. We were told on arrival that as part of our all-inclusive deal, we were receiving an Island Pass. This offered a number of extra benefits, but we were unsure at times as to what was and wasn’t included. For the first few days we were also unaware that alcoholic drinks were included at meal times, but were excluded from our deal outside of meal times. We found the evening entertainment in the Lobby Bar the perfect way to sit and relax with a drink as the sun went down. We especially liked the very talented jazz duo (guitarist and singer) – fantastic musicians. The gym was well equipped and not busy and the Spa was amazing too with excellent staff providing a wonderful, helpful and friendly service. The WiFi connection was great – we experienced no problem areas in the hotel. Overall, we had an amazing stay at the hotel and would love to return. The customer service was outstanding and we left feeling thoroughly relaxed and ready to take on life again.…
