Had a super bad experience with a Malay receptionist called Shermaine/Charmaine working on 1st May at 2pm. She shouldn’t be working in hospitality line if she don’t even have a basic manner of being helpful and polite, moreover she’s at the front desk. Luckily we had met the front line manager name Ku, who is extremely nice and helpful to assist us.

We arrived at the property at 11:30, we were welcome by the concierge. They were three staffs at the check in desk. They young lady looked at us and said: Yeees? Instead of a common greeting or proper welcome such as Welcome to our hotel, how can I assist you sir? We were shocked for a so called 5 star hotel. Another two ladies were doing their job, not even smile or greet to the guest, not proper trained. We asked if we can check in earlier. They young lady said No, the check in time is 3pm and she not even bother to take an effort to check if there is any room available. She said she will call us if the room is ready. She didn’t provide any info about the hotel, such as where the breakfast will be served and from what time till what time, pool, gym, car park and other, not even care to ask if we need any info about the hotel or surrounding. It was very annoying, she said thank you every time when she finished a sentence. It sound like she was in a hurry, thank you, don’t ask me anymore! We went out for lunch and back to the hotel at 14:30, another lady there gave us the room key. The young lady who promised to call, but she didn’t, she was there at the desk and she didn’t say anything. Room and shower were good, staffs were friendly during breakfast. Check out time. Again with the young lady. She could have asked, how was your stay, we hope you had a good stay, we look forward to seeing you again, have a safe journey home, but NOTHING. We don’t see her passion, good attitude and friendliness as a front desk person. It was such a pity… They charged a 100 ringgit deposit on my credit card, I will still waiting for the refund.

Was our first visit to this hotel. I was very excited to try a new hotel as always. However, Winnie who check me in was very cold and does not have the hotelier touch. Even though I try to greet her and cheer her up, she is very robotic giving 1 to 3 word answers. Room is big and location is good However, it is not about concrete and clay isn't? Perhaps the management should provide more training and remind the service personnel that it is about experience that they are selling more than a room with bed to sleep on Take note to ask for rooms facing the mountain as the noice from the cars or motorbike is very disturbing especially in the middle of the night

GEO Resort & Hotel, Genting Highland ROOM: Took Family Suite, with having modern touchup. Bed was good and kids fighting for the loft bed, settled for 1-day per person. As the room is in rectangular shape (long), the is minimum (barely nice) space for movement. Fitted with big screen LCD TV and some paid channel which is good. TOILET: Complimentary toiletries, hot shower (came also with rain type sower head), and weight scale for weight conscious person. WIFI: Password protected and complimentary for guest. Good coverage and bandwidth. Note that max device is four units only (maybe come with different setup). POOL: Spacious and clean pool. Operates between 7AM to 7PM. FITNESS CENTER: Unfortunately close “until further notice” which turn me n my son off. From the look the treadmills, bikes and other machine looks good. Might be no maintenance done. F&B: Open concept, located nearby pool. Feeling cozy and nice. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner. All is good with just nice selection. Mind that its mostly Malaysian type menu. Try morning Fly Roti Canai, its soft and fluffy. PARKING: Complimentary for guest. NEARBY: Lots of shop, restaurant to choose for. Has Petron oil station, and Starbuck for coffee lover. +- 2km from GPO. OTHERS: Had several meeting room, and 1 Business Center (room). MY TAKE: Good for short family weekend holiday or small business group if one need to have meeting here.

Staffs quite helpful with check in process. Guest need to use different lift from carpark and hotel room because it not connected. Room was spacious and comfortable. Variety choices of breakfast. Located around 10 to 15 min before GPO. Got many restaurants and supermarket nearby. Swimming pool at level 1.

im a regular with geo hotel. its my 4th time choosing and staying with this hotel. the room charges was Rm490 without breakfast. and i book the room way before my stay over the phone, its done by Mr Firdaus. when i check on the website the room charges are RM 500 with breakfast. when i call and check and request if breakfast can be included, the mananger by the name of Ms Guang Yi Ku refused to consider my request. i have stayed in many hotels before, and normally there will always be some give and take on the hotel end, especially with regular customer. its not about the money but its how you treat your regulars. and another thing, the reception at night please have your staff standby to answer calls. do not expect people to send whatsapp and wait for hours for response. in the end customer have to walk all way down.. dato zack

Nice and clean hotel at Gotong Jaya away from the crowd at the peak. Restaurants are within walking distance. There is a Starbucks, KK Mart & 7 Eleven nearby. Rooms are clean. Choose the family room to face the back hill so it’s quieter. There is no buffet breakfast but set breakfast which portion is sufficient for breakfast. You can choose international big breakfast or local breakfast. Overall its suitable if you prefer quieter hotel. Cable car is also nearby if you do not wish to drive up.

Horrible service. We paid rm600, but it’s terrible. Would not recommend to families. Breakfast buffet was changed to ala carte. They only sent up extra 2 water bottles when we asked for more. Parking is terrible, you’d get lost on your way up. Overall, during Xmas week, not friendly, terrible food and honestly better find something better with the price.

Unforgettable moment with l Unforgettable moment with last minute request just over WhatsApp. Mr. Azhar Suhaimi (0133755423) / Assistant Manager F&B Manager Geo Resort & Hotel. . We stayed in somewhere else and wife looking for last minute surprise candle light dinner. . We reach Geo Hotel and guard direct us to valet parking. Heading to grand entrance facade with romantic ambience, guard escort us to lobby where Mr. Azhar waiting for us. . He brought us to private hall (yoga room), once he open the door for us, there is romantic soundtrack with me and my wife slide show playing on the projector screen. Red carpet with rose petal direct us to table for 2 which nicely decorated , candle stands along the way to the table, fresh plant surrounding table only for 2 of us. This is my birthday gift from Mr. Azhar. Really appreciate it and highly recommended. . The food is delicious, thanx to Mr. Azhar , chef and team for this wonderful setup.

This is my first time staying at this hotel and it was on biz trip. Overall the hotel is clean and well kept. New hotel. The premier room is nice, cozy and spacious. But for the family room, its a bit cramp because of the bunker. It just a waste of space underneath it. Toilet is super clean, water pressure is excellent. The location of swimming pool is not appropriate. It should be located else where for privacy purposes. People can see someone swimming when dining. Service is a bit slow perhaps due to the unlimited staff on duty. Breakfast buffet is good but please keep the hygiene and freshness of the foods.
