They only had Bell tent to offer for our stay so did not get to experience the Dome tents. however the Bell tent were also nice and clean. only down side was the portable toilets outside the tent which made it difficult to manage especially in the middle of the dark nights. one night it rained very heavily and it made the stay extra special. loved their simple breakfast every morning served directly in the tents. wished the staff informed us of the back gate which led directly to the tent without us having to carry the heavy bags up and down the hill steps which was very inconvenient as there was no one to help. also there is no food served in this site. need to drive out about 2 km to bukit Prumai to get more restaurants. Those without car do not attempt to stay here lastly this is a great place to stay for youngsters and doubt elderly should try as it was not easy going up and down.…
I stayed at Dome type (with big window). Its better to booked this type of room (for privacy) compared to other type (tent and family dome) as they are located very near to each other (less privacy). Pros: Nice ambient Clean surrounding Clean dome Private toilet (clean) Very cold at night. Must wear thick clothing and socks. Cons: Housekeeping should change to new bedsheet for the next guests. Ours was not changed upon checked in, luckily we bring our own blanket.
Just got back from staying at Glamz and my family absolutely loved it. We went with some friends and their children too. We had BBQs on the evening, my kids went in the jacuzzi and generally had a great time. We'd certainly visit again. We were very happy with the room and the facilities. Breakfast was brought to our room and there were generous extras in the basket. Overall, an excellent experience.
Bed: quality beds like in hotels. Breakfast: came to the room on time, big portions, with meals and hot drinks of your selection and supplementary orange juice (rmco time have to have breakfast in your own room) Service: good Check in and Check out: very smooth Jacuzzi: clean and functional Toilet: clean with hot water, extra toilets available for family room Privacy: very good. Quiet at night, can hear the cricket sounds. Perfect for short getaway from the city. Parking: available. Tips: 1. If you compare this to hotels, you will be disappointed. So, you will have to compare this to a camping site, then it will be an upgrade. 2. It will be like sauna from 12pm - 5pm, so you have to keep both doors open (referring to family rooms) and positions the standing fans to assist air ventilation so that cold air from outside can enter. It will be very chilly at night and morning. Bring thick clothes/socks. 3. They have halls for events. Very beautiful at night. …
You will need to reduce your expectation by half from what you have seen on the website, then you will be fine😜 - It’s pricy for such facility. - Really not suitable for bringing baby / toddlers You will have to carry your own luggages from and to the dome you are staying. And there is a long walk, ups and downs from the stairs. So really not suitable for those who have lots of luggages. That’s why I reckon this is not suitable to bring baby / toddlers. I told one of the staff that the review on trip advisor is right. We have to carry our own baggage. The answer I get from him was ‘this is glamping not a hotel. There is no bell boy here’ we stayed for two nights and my husband probably have injured his knee from walking up and down the stairs under the rain without realizing it from the day we arrived. The next day as he woke up, he felt the pain on his knee and it is a nightmare to walk from the dome to the car. Day time is very humid and hot inside the tent. You will probably enjoy it more during dry season and not raining season.…
