The check-in to my room which was in Tower 4 was a long winding way and often confusing. Would have been better if there were staff present in each Tower to guide/ check-out process. The room & amenities were good. Unfortunately our view was blocked by construction and often gets noisy if we open the sliding door to the balcony. Would have been better if they offered us a card for parking cause we have to go to front desk every time we want to take the car in/out. There’s a convenience store outside the hotel and a few restaurants within the hotel. Overall, I believe it could have been better experience.
Stayed here 3 days 2 night, 1st night make me unforgettable horrible experience, the room (have balcony) which provided to me have SERIOUS SMELLY from drainpipe and make me suffering when sleeping in the first whole night, I have called CS and they informed me please come on tomorrow morning and they will check whether still have empty room to us, honestly we pay for staying and relax, not pay for smell your drainpipe in your hotel room ! If no empty room to customer, I rather NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL to smell their DRAINPIPE in the sleeping room !!! Luckily the next day I went to lobby counter look for Chinese CS and they helped us change to another room (no balcony) and which is large bed but actually is single bed combine together, lol 😂 the room smell is ok. I will show their room picture and you can decide whether this hotel worth 5 star or not.…
What is liked: 1. Clean and comfortable unit. 2. Excellent people (in Particular, Raymond and Farul) 3. Good proper system of management of breakfast, snd crowd. 4. Suprb indoor swimming pool. 5. Nice tower link bridges. 6. Well maintained recreational areas. Things that need serious improvement: 1. Items inside room not in proper working order such as water heater in small toilet in room 1214, table lamp in room 1213. This is what made this hotel lose a star from me. 2. Strict rules to ensure vendor operating inside hotel area comply with hotel rules. The GUY at the small eatery inside the link bridge linking tower 2 and tower 3 is vaping indoor for a long time causing discomfort Overall the hotel I would have give 5 star if not because of some mulfunction of the equipment in the rooms. The stay was superb especially so with their excellent front desk. There was an issue during check in which is very understanable due to the sudden influx of guests after the opening by the government. However the front desk Farul, who checked us is did his very best to resolve it to the point he escalated to his management Raymond that together resolve the issue to a mutually acceptable situation. Farul was smiling all the way despite at one point I expressed my frustration, which I really respect this guy. As for Raymond day and night I see him smiling to guests at the main entrance helping them with what guests need. These 2 people is what any hotel would need. Not to forget the tecnician that came over to try to resolve the water heater issue in Room 1214. Very polite, removing his shoes and offer to change room as the water heater cannot be immediately fixed which we decline since we have 2 units. It is important for hotels to know that there is a big difference when the issue was discovered by housekeeping when they are making up the room for the next guests and when the guests themselvss makes a complaint. This resulted in loss of 1 star when I actually planned to give 5 star when you have excellent people. Another point to complain though this I don't really blame on the hotel is this eatery inside the tower 2-tower 3 link bridge was vaping in closed environment despite there is people, me walking and showing unhappy faces. This "man" vape and vape... I would have scolded him if not because my wife was with me that I avoided making a scene.... Such kurang ajar person should be properly oriented before allowing to work or operate within your hotel area. Other than this.. it was a superb stay for the entire family.. thanks to this hotel that I am super satisfied made possible with your good, well trained, well mannered personnel…
I planned to visit two days in Genting Highlands, so I stayed at this hotel as its one of the nearest 5 stars hotel to Genting Highlands theme Park (though I rate this hotel as only 2-3 stars). I booked two bedroom suite. Normally I book airport transfers from the hotel I stay in, but they don't have any such facility. Also the hotel taxi contact is too expensive compared to others, so please check before you book. They have shuttle to First World Hotel every hour, they charge MYR 5 per person and you have to book in advance, if you want taxi its MYR 40. Check in was ok, but we were told WIFI is not working and they don't know how much it will take to fix it. When we checked in the phone wasn't working, we had to call 2-3 times to get attended to our request. Finally that evening WIFI started working in the hotel but in our room both WIFI and telephone was still not working. Finally they decided to move to another room and it was much smaller two bedrooms suite then earlier. When I asked them about the smaller rooms they mentioned its same category suite and no response as it was much smaller. Restaurant breakfast menu is ok, not much vegan or vegetarian options. I would suggest if you want to visit Genting Highlands theme park, stay in hotel within the park, if its not available, stay in Hotel somewhere near the cable car station. Hotel staff was trying there best to make us comfortable but the facilities were not good. Be prepared for long walk to your room as rooms are in different towers.…
Frankly, this is not a 5 star hotel in the mountains and more of a service apartment. The hot water is not stable, check-ins take extremely long (although prepaid), no sound insulation and the aircond temperature tends to get hotter on its own. The overall hotel feel looks like it has not been attended to for sometime. The overall rooms are decent with the balcony offering the best view but it will be covered by the mist from the mountains. I've seen many others complain on the hygiene in the rooms but I've been lucky. The buffet breakfast is average but the upside is they have a number of marts open on-site and one which is 24/7. Their room service is helpful and it's 24/7. It is about 15mins away via their shuttle service to the theme park but you would rather stay at the theme park area itself. Unless for a specific purpose like an event, I see no reason staying here. …
